School opened after
the winter vacations on 29th February 2016. Students and
teachers were fresh after the activities
the peaceful winter break and enthusiastic about
and learning to be unfolded in the second term.
This term was a period of significant
importance as the school staff
students evaluated their learning and practices.
Club activities
and
became more
organized with senior students as club leaders writing the club activity description and evaluating the effectiveness
of the activity
being held.
School's teaching and learning areas were evaluated by an external evaluation team of Head Office,
identifying
areas of improvement and enhanced learning,
in March 2016. School evaluation team had meetings with parents, staff
and
students which were satisfactory. Our Executive Director
North, Mr. Nassir Kasuri came to the branch on
th
10 March 2016 and held a meeting with parents in which parents shared their concerns and issues with him. School administration
had a more in-depth focus on teachers'
training and
development with most of the workshops and support sessions being held in the branch. Students'
extra co-curricular
activities
were carried out however
school functions for parents were comparatively less than the first
term due
to the rainy weather, which we will overcome by more purposeful events in the next session. Classes IV-VII
will appear in the end of year exams at the end of May 2016.
We hope for a happy summer break for all of our students.
ED's Meeting with Parents ED' s meetinq was held with parents in the branch on 10th March 2016 which went very well. Parents shared all their concerns with ED.
Phonemes Workshop Phonemes workshop was held for parents of Early Years students on 25th March 2016 by the Early Years School Group Coordinator. This workshop focused on sounds and diagraphs. It was liked and appreciated much by the participants
and
they asked us for more events of the kind.
Pakistan Day
was celebrated at school on 22nd March 2016.
Students planned meaningful skits and speeches under their teachers' brilliant
supervision in the Club periods. It was a
program with students'
incharge of the performances on stage.

instructions and procedures, how to explain the procedure to the guest children and involve them instantly.

Model Lessons were held for parents focusing on students' involvement and learning in the classroom.
ATM machine operation and shopping area were set up by Class I students and their teacher to make the students' learn how to count money, how to shop according to a given sum of money. It was liked much by the students.
Sports Day Sports Day was held in Serena Hotel Swat on 16th May 2016. Different races and competitions were held and prizes and certificates were awarded to the winning students. It was an enjoyable event.
On-Line Projects Digital Story Book project was completed in collaboration with other schools of our school group. It was a very good learning opportunity for the students. Class II students wrote one chapter of the book with proper animations and story dialogues. Science Quiz was held on the zr: of May 2016 online for Class II students. Class II students first had a round of quiz developed by the school on 23rd may 2016. They had another quiz sent and prepared by the school group office from Islamabad and the final round was online in which Irza Suliman,Nikhil Kumar & ~an Akbar participated. Rayyan Akbar secured 3rd position among all the participating students.

Yellow Day Yellow Day was held on 3rd June 2016 for Classes Pre-Nursery till Class I to re-enfor-ce the basic color recognition. Children enjoyed it a lot and explored all objects of yellow color around them in the school. Here are a few glimpses:
