KAHLO MUSEUM Interactive Museum of Art and its History, and Art Research and Conservation Centre.

At the heart of a municipality rich in culture, gastronomy, and with a privileged location, the Kahlo Museum aspires to be the catalyst for the urban transformation of Texcoco. This transformation is envisaged through its unconventional architecture, designed to attract significant economic and cultural changes through tourism. The Kahlo Museum aims to become a landmark not only for the interactive exploration of Mexican and global art but also as a catalyst for discovering the municipality and its lesser-known services with untapped economic and cultural potential.

The design of the Kahlo Museum is characterized by having an asymmetric shape on all its facades, except for the entrance. Additionally, the access is radially recessed along the entire main facade, all with the purpose of giving it hierarchy.

Kahlo Museum | 11 The project is a tribute to art in general, housing inside exhibitions.

Additionally, it features a library representing literature, all housed in a single building with organic, curved, and majestic forms.

Kahlo Museum | 12 The name "Kahlo Museum" was chosen in honor of one of the most internationally renowned Mexican visual artists, Frida Kahlo. This aims to provide the museum with a distinctive identity not only nationally but also internationally.

Lamp of Creativity

Sculpture: The Hand of Art

The internal design of the Kahlo Museum originates from the central vestibule, which is divided into two voids. The first one is encountered upon entering and is characterized by containing a hanging lamp within the void, representing creativity. The second void, the larger one, directly connects to Basement 1, and inside it, there is a sculpture of a hand representing the artist's hand as a creator.

Community Arts and Crafts Center.

It aims to be a proposal that promotes local culture while preserving traditions, developing skills, and fostering creativity, thus contributing to economic growth and strengthening the cultural identity of the community.

The project consists of two levels with a construction area of 2,719.12 square meters. It stands out for its commitment to brutalist architecture on its facades with a regional touch, giving it a distinctive and robust yet elegant appearance.

The first is called the 'Cube of Arts in Motion,' representing the creative energy in constant movement. The second, named the 'Creative Triad,' where each sphere symbolizes a phase of the creative process.

Futuristic Concept of Art Museum and Architecture Pavilion.

The O'Gorman Park is a futuristic architectural concept that seeks to integrate the visual language of two artworks by different artists into architecture. It consists of an art museum (O'Gorman Museum) and an architecture pavilion (Shadow Pavilion) that converge into a single space.

This composition exercise aims to demonstrate that the artistic language of works unrelated to architecture can be seamlessly fused with the architect's own language, based on the idea of conceptualizing these works.

Taking a part of the artwork as a reference, conceptual architectural elements can be created, which can be further developed to transform them from conceptual architecture to an architectural concept.

By having similar formal elements, such as the use of curves, both buildings become entirely compatible in the same space, as they inherently share a common language.

Futuristic concept of a residential house.

Villa Flor de Loto is an architectural concept of a futuristic home that arises from the need to conceive a residence with an unusual and daring form. However, it adheres to the current perspective and trend of introspective architecture, meaning it aims not to reveal what lies within directly from the outside, ensuring maximum privacy.

While it does not have an exact location, the residence is set in an imaginary context with views towards the sea.

Six-level corporate building.

This is a six-level office building rental executive project located in Mérida, Yucatán. The need for a corporate building in this area stems from the high economic flow and concentrated foreign and domestic investment in recent years throughout the Yucatán Peninsula.

Inspired by Maya culture, the project offers spaces of the highest architectural standard both inside and outside, aiming to host internationally and nationally renowned companies on its various levels.

The creation of an entrance portico was inspired by the shapes found on the upper part of Mayan pyramids, where the temples are located. The aim was to capture the clear sense of hierarchy present in these temples and translate it into a modern and elegant manner.
