U-PASS BC APRIL 23 SERVICE CHANGES Route

Change Details

New Services 531 White Rock Centre/Willowbrook

The new 531 will link White Rock Centre and Willowbrook Mall via 152 St, 24 Ave, 192 St, 32 Ave and 200 St. Service will be provided seven days a week, every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Permanent Service Increases 19 Metrotown Station/Stanley Park

Weekend/holiday service improved to every 15 minutes in early evening

49 Metrotown Station/UBC

More frequent service weekdays 8-10 p.m. and weekends/holidays 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Extended weekday service hours—every 30 minutes 9:30-11 p.m.

84 VCC-Clark Station/UBC

97 B-Line Coquitlam Station/Lougheed Town Centre Station

Service increased to every 15 minutes, 7-9 a.m.

Saturdays and 8-10 a.m. Sundays/holidays New weekend/holiday late-night trip leaving Coquitlam Station at 2:09 a.m. (arriving 2:35 a.m. at Lougheed Station)

99 B-Line CommercialBroadway Station/UBC

Increased service: weekdays 6 p.m. til end of service, Saturdays 8 a.m. till end of service and Sundays/holidays 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.

145 Production Way Station/SFU

Additional morning trips each day: one weekday northbound trip to SFU at about 6:00 a.m.; three new Saturday morning trips in each direction and two new Sunday/holiday morning trips in each direction

210 Vancouver

Two additional trips to Vancouver leaving Phibbs Exchange weekdays at 6:02 p.m. and 6:32 p.m.

Evening service increased to every 30 minutes 229 Phibbs for each route, Mon-Sat until 9 p.m. (Combined Exchange/Westlynn/Lynn Valley Centre/Lonsdale Quay 229/230 evening service every 15 minutes along the Lonsdale corridor) • 230 Upper Lonsdale/Lonsdale Quay 319 Scott Road Station/Newton Additional Saturday late-night trip to meet the last Exchange N19 Downtown trip at Scott Road Stn N19 Surrey Central Station/Downtown

Additional eastbound trip to Surrey Central Stn leaves downtown Vancouver at 3:30 a.m.

N24 Upper Lonsdale/Downtown

Additional trip to Upper Lonsdale leaves downtown Vancouver at 3:25 a.m., Mon-Sat plus any Sunday before a holiday Monday.

SeaBus

15-minute service extended on weekday evenings until 7:46 departure from Waterfront.

Seasonal service additions and increases 150 White Pine Beach/Coquitlam Station

Seasonal service to White Pine Beach returns on weekends/holidays starting May 5 and weekdays starting June 11

620 Tsawwassen Ferry/Airport Station

Seasonal spring/summer service increase: service will run twice per hour (instead of once per hour) between 8 a.m. – 7 p.m., seven days a week, April 23 – Sept 3.

SeaBus

15-minute Sunday/holiday daytime service starting May 20—seasonal improvement to September 3.

301 Richmond Centre/Newton Exchange 340 22nd Street Station/Scottsdale

Orion highway coaches will serve these routes, increasing customer comfort. (Some 394 trips might continue to operate with traditional buses.)

394 King George Station/White Rock Centre

N20 Victoria/Downtown

The last southbound trip leaving downtown at 3:09 a.m. will be provided by an articulated bus to increase capacity and reduce pass-ups.

Permanent re-routes 41 Joyce Station/Crown/UBC

Re-routed so that all trips travel along Wesbrook Mall between W. 16th Ave and SW Marine Drive, providing more transit service to the growing south campus area.

Permanent bus bay reassignments New Westminster Station

The bus loop re-opens at the New Westminster station (after 4.5 years of construction), providing more convenient transfers between buses and SkyTrain. Boarding and/or disembarking locations at the station will change for routes 106, 112, 123, 321, C3, C4, C8, C9, N19

Richmond-Brighouse Station

401 Garden City trips will no longer serve Bay 4.

Eastbound 401 Garden City trips, westbound 410 Railway trips and westbound 430 RichmondBrighouse Stn trips will serve the new Bay 4a (located on west side of No. 3 Road, just south of Saba Road intersection). 410 Railway will continue to serve Bay 7.

Bridgeport Station

480 UBC will move to Bay 3. 403 Three Road and 620 Tsawwassen Ferry will move to Bay 4.

Seasonal/temporary bus bay reassignments UBC Loop

C19, C20, C22 routes will serve Bay 14 at UBC Loop from April 23 – Sept 2, instead of their regular Bay 15 terminus on Student Union Blvd.

Surrey Central Station

April 23 until further notice, due to faregate construction, some buses are being assigned to different bays. Affected routes are 320 (moving to Bay 3), 321 (moving to Bay 9), and 332 and 335 (moving to a temporary Bay 14 on University Drive). Changes expected to be in place for about six months.

33 UBC (at 29th Avenue Station)

April 23 until further notice, customers will board at a temporary Bay 5 due to station construction

Permanent service reductions Frequent Transit Network adjustments (Routes 106, 130, 135, 240, 319, 320, 410)

Weekend/holiday early-morning service reduced to every 20 minutes, 6-7 a.m. Saturdays and 6-8 a.m. Sundays/holidays.

Seasonal service reductions U-Pass spring/summer service reductions and route adjustments

April 23 – Sept 2: adjusted service frequency for routes 25, 41, 43, 44, 84, 99, 143, 145, 239, 480 due to reduced post-secondary demand. Routes 28 and 130 will not serve Capilano University.

Route 9 will not serve UBC.

125 Patterson Station/BCIT

Service discontinued May 28 – Sept 3, returning for the start of the fall school term
