ball career at BC High, Boston College and as a minor leaguer with the Pittsburgh Pirates is highlighted along with his succesful transition to the business world at Pricewaterhousecoopers. Delaney credits his BC High and BC network in the smooth transition from major league baseball to the business world. Patrick Downes ‘01 and wife Jessica Kensky continue to be featured in the news. Most recently, during the 2nd anniversary of the Marathon bombings, Patrick and Jessica advocated for increased accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Classmates from Boston College sought to honor the couple during Patrick’s 10th reunion and have launched the BC Strong Scholarship, which celebrates Patrick and Jessica’s tenacity in the face of adversity and is a financial aid scholarship awarded to a student who exemplifies the same characteristics as these two incredible individuals. The couple continues to use their resources and personal networks to lend support to others who have undergone amputations and experienced traumatic injuries. During the recent trial of Tsarnaev, Jessica was asked to testify and did so with grace, strength and warmth.

Nick Puleo ‘01, his wife Sarah, and son Sam welcomed baby Maeve into the family this past March. David Sweeney ‘01 was recently appointed chief financial officer for the City of Boston. As Boston’s chief financial officer, the 32-year-old is the main architect of Walsh’s first full budget, which was filed this past winter the City Council.

Alexander Vannoni ’03 has received the Filomena J. Peloro Scholarship. Vannoni attends the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and is pursuing a dual master’s degree in public health and business administration.

TYING THE KNOT Three brothers and three weddings all within a few months of each other, Adam Davey ‘04 married Sara Pizzote in Rockport last August, twin brother Brian Davey ‘04 married Emma Lydon in Mattapoisett, MA. in July and the oldest brother Sean Davey ‘02 married Tracy Paulo in the St. James Cathedral at the College of Holy Cross in November 2014.

Spencer Powers ‘03 and his sister Liz have co-founded ArtLifting, an online marketplace that sells artwork from homeless and disabled individuals in therapeutic programs. He recently spoke with students at Boston College and shared his thoughts to those interested in service-oriented business ventures.“The mission of the Jesuits has always resonated with me,” Spencer said.“It has always been a part of our family and my daily life.”

Thomas Morgan ‘06 is the Associate Producer of “The Zolak and Bertrand Show” on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston. He has been with the station since graduating from Northeastern University in 2011. John Sills ‘06 attended the alumni reception in New York City this past February.

Rory Cuddyer ’07 returned to campus to speak about his journey from BC High to Boston City Hall where he now serves as the Innovation Czar for Mayor Marty Walsh. Rory spoke about his transition from BC High to Boston College, his entry into the field of politics, the importance of networking, and his vision for the City of Boston as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. Charles Demarkles ’07 recently took on a new position at Isobar as Senior SEO Analyst.

Stephen M. Hunt ‘04 and his wife Sandy L. Hunt were married on July 5, 2014 and their marriage was solemnized in the Loyola Chapel at BC High on December 19, 2014. Pictured are Rev. James Dossett ‘09 will attend Tufts University School of Medicine for his medical degree. He received his undergraduate degree from Tufts cum laude in 2013 and will matriculate to the medical school in Sept 2015. James is presently employed as a research assistant for a macular degeneration project at the Tufts New England Medical Center. The Assistant Conductor of the Boston Landmarks Orchestra Kristo Kondakci ’09 conducted a special performance by The Eureka Orchestra, featuring Robert Bekkers, guitar and Yelena Dudochkin, soprano.
