BREC Building Progresses
Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative (BREC) is set to move into a cutting-edge facility designed to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability. The new location will feature advanced electrical systems and a modern aestheticproviding employees with a comfortable and technologically advanced workspace.
The facility will include 12,650 sq. ft. of office space, along with 22,580sq. ft. dedicated to warehouse and garage use. A total of 28employeeswillrelocate tothenewsitewithin Bedford County Business Park I.
BREC anticipates movingintothe new facility in thefirst quarter of 2026.

Receives Key Funding for Site Development
BCDA has secured funding to advance site preparation for Lot 2, adjacent to REI. With the site preparation work completed, this location will be able to accommodate a 27,000 sq. ft. facility to meet the growing demand for business space in our county.
