BCAF (Bath Contemporary Artists’ Fair) is a platform for artists to showcase and sell their work without any commission fees, allowing creators to thrive in the vibrant arts scene of Bath. BCAF brings quality original art to the public at affordable prices, on a monthly basis from April to December. Entry is free and the venue is accessible to all.

Its presence in the historic Green Park Station bolsters the local cultural community, showcasing the talent of both established and up-and-coming artists. This event is not just an art fair, but a reflection of Bath’s rich artistic heritage and commitment to fostering creativity in its residents and visitors alike.

As a curated event, BCAF serves to both support emerging talent and ensure the highest quality of artwork is presented to the public, providing them with a top-notch experience showcasing the best of what Bath and its surroundings have to offer.

We have developed a significant cultural chance for both the youth and the seasoned individuals. Our dedication lies in facilitating the interaction between artists, the public, and the creative and cultural arts communities within the local and surrounding area.

BCAF serves as a central point for creative expression, bringing together people from different artistic backgrounds including painters, sculptors, photographers, and ceramicists. The fair highlights the significance of art in the community by welcoming over 500 artists each year and showcasing a wide range of artistic mediums. Malachi

THE BCAF MENTORING PROGRAMME

After the success of our 2023 ‘Artists’ Mentoring Programme’, we are thrilled to continue our commitment into 2024.

Navigating the art world can be challenging, even for seasoned individuals! Having a mentor can be invaluable for an artist, offering a valuable perspective and advice that may not be accessible elsewhere. A mentor’s role is to provide support, guidance, and insight, assisting artists in achieving their aspirations and objectives.

If you fall within the age bracket of 16-25 and are an aspiring artist, or are currently pursuing art studies or have recently graduated, you can benefit from the expertise of our exceptional professional artists showcasing their work at each event. Our mentors are available to address your queries, whether

they pertain to career guidance, pricing strategies, or technical assistance.

Just look for the black and white BCAF logo on the stands at any of the nine events we have this year and you will find your mentors.
