In Norman, the University of Oklahoma continues to be one of our biggest supporters. Volunteers from all aspects of the university—students, faculty and staff—help us to make quality, life-changing matches. The Fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha, hosted an evening of pumpkin carving, and the always-bubbly OU spirit squad attended our Bowl for Kids’ Sake event with our waiting Littles. The Littles certainly enjoyed every minute they got to hang out with the college students! Another great partnership that is rapidly growing is our relationship with the Norman Police Department. Not only do they help us financially through Bowl for Kids’ Sake, they entertained our matches in the annual Cops & Bobbers fishing event. We’re not sure who caught the largest fish, but we know that having the Norman Police Department as a partner is a great catch! Moveable Feast 2017 kicked off with a welcome reception where guests sipped signature cocktails then progressed to the plaza for dinner, suprise performances and an engaging look into the heart and mission of BBBSOK. The night ended with dessert and dancing under the stars in the garden. It was an incredible night *October 1, 2016 - September 30, 2017 supporting our mission and the perfect adieu to summer.
