“Through my experience, I learned that life will always have challenges, no matter who you are, there are always going to be obstacles that come your way. But regardless of what I’ll go through in life, I can always find the strength within me to keep on fighting. Instead of sitting in my sorrow and letting my negative circumstances overtake me. I’ll approach my struggles with optimism, with determination to overcome and with a smile on my face.”

“I founded Blossoming Youth Mental Health blog in June of 2020 and with that blog I’m really trying to push the narrative that with being empathetic, we can save lives. The extremely high suicide rate can be brought down when we are empathetic to those around us. Rather than choosing hatred and arguing and combating others and only seeing our own perspective, we get an opportunity to empower others to enlighten others through being empathetic.”

“To conclude, all my personal experiences have demonstrated I am an ambitious, benevolent leader who is willing to preserve my integrity and always uphold my personal ethical beliefs. I will always be the kind of person who will place the wants and needs of others before my own. I will always choose to act with honesty and responsibility. I will always do the right thing.”

“I’m a first-generation college student and I’m a proud daughter of Cuban and Mexican immigrants. The sacrifices that they’ve given me and their support have cultivated my own desire to help out the English as a second language and Latino community.” My sister and I founded an “…organization called Amigos Unidos and we offer free tutoring services for S. O. L. Elementary and middle school students.”

After my mother was traumatically injured in a serious car accident, … “I took matters into my own hands…served as my mother’s case manager. I was able to secure her the justice that she deserved” …to… ”emotionally recover after the traumatic experience. This life altering experience helped me to realize I too can make a meaningful difference in somebody’s life.” Page 16
