IKEA for Business Designing workspaces that work.

At IKEA for Business, we’re not going to tell you how to run your business. We’re here to build it with you: we measure your space, design it for free and manage it all with one single point of contact. From the first layout to the last lightbulb, we've got you covered.

We’re serious about your business

And just like that, another year comes to a close, in the blink of an eye, before you know it, just like that. What a crazy year it’s been here in K-town. Tons of newly paved roads, so many new bike paths, countless malls and entertainment spaces overflowing with new cafes and restaurants, around a billion new delivery restaurants online, and so much more coming. Kuwait has been buzzing, evolving and reinventing itself at a pace that feels both exhilarating and surreal.

In the middle of all that movement, this issue captures the moments that anchor us. The places, people, and experiences that give the year its texture, its flavor, its meaning. Our biggest moment has to be out cover shoot, featuring the Ferrari Purosangue, the Prancing Horse’s first fourdoor, four-seater, definitely a thoroughbred reimagined for modern living. Shot against the serene backdrop of Wafra’s AFrame farm, the Purosangue reveals its duality: sculptural in stillness, poetic in motion.

This issue also marks a special editorial focus, a celebration of leaders, marketers, and brand storytellers who shape Kuwait’s cultural and commercial identity. We meet Nader Neishabouri, General Manager of Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel, whose leadership blends heritage with innovation.

We festively indulge at Al Bustan in Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait, where Chef David Harnois transforms seasonal nostalgia into a vibrant, family-friendly brunch complete with live stations, international favorites, and a heartwarming gingerbread house experience inspired by his childhood memories.

At Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, the holidays unfold through refined moments: elegant afternoon teas, festive dinners, restorative spa rituals, and glamorous New Year’s Eve celebrations. We explore the art of hospitality with Jacopo Bruni, Director of Operations at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, whose philosophy centers on emotion, connection, and elevating everyday moments into lasting memories.

And we speak to we feature Daria Levchyshyna, Director of Marketing at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, who breaks down the strategy behind modern luxury marketing, data-driven, digital-first, emotionally intelligent, and always evolving.

Our festive narratives continue at Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait, where golden décor, world-class dining, and transformative wellness experiences light up the city with elegance and celebration. Marketing Manager Kapriel Kalenderian also shares with us his deep love for storytelling, and the way it shapes how the brand communicates luxury with warmth, clarity, and authenticity.

This month, we spotlight inspiring creators, those who build, innovate, and shape Kuwait’s evolving landscape. IKEA for Business continues empowering entrepreneurs across the country, delivering spaces that allow ideas to grow, from boutique salons to hotel kashtas to beautifully curated homes. Their work reminds us that smart design is not just visual; it’s deeply human.

We explore craftsmanship with Mejuri, as co-founder Noura Sakkijha shares how she reshaped the fine jewelry world by centering women, self-expression, and everyday luxury. Her return to the region during the brand’s 10-year milestone feels like a full-circle moment.

And because the year has also been defined by innovation, we look toward the future with Porsche’s first fully electric Cayenne, a technological milestone that blends performance, design, and new standards in electric mobility. We go behind the scenes with Porsche Centre Kuwait’s Marketing team, the creators of a dynamic brand ecosystem built on passion, community, and the new Porsche Circles that bring together drivers, creators, and enthusiasts in fresh, meaningful ways. Together, these stories highlight the people who turn brands into experiences; the thinkers, makers, doers, and shapers who give Kuwait’s lifestyle scene its pulse.

As we wrap up the year, one thing becomes clear: Kuwait is not just growing; it’s transforming through its people, its creativity, and its relentless drive to innovate. Thank you for being part of our journey, for reading, sharing, supporting, and growing with us.

Here’s to reflection, celebration, and a bold new year ahead.

FOOTBALL FOR HUMANITY

Blending Diplomacy and Humanitarian Action to Aid Palestinian Children

Kuwait recently concluded the inaugural edition of Football for Humanity, a United Nations–backed initiative dedicated this year to supporting children in Palestine. Held under the patronage of H.E. Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the event brought together UN agencies — UNESCO, WHO, UNICEF, and the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator — alongside the FIFA Talent Development Scheme, 11 embassies, and key private-sector partners. The goal: to harness football’s universal reach as a tool for humanitarian diplomacy and meaningful action for children in crisis.

The launch gathered prominent diplomatic and governmental figures, including Minister Plenipotentiary Abdulaziz Saud Al-Jarallah and Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher Ibrahim Duaij Al-Sabah, as well as ambassadors from Italy, France, Brazil, Spain, Belgium, Palestine, Tunisia, Egypt, the United Kingdom, India, and Armenia. Also in attendance were Sheikha Intisar Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Chairperson of Al-Nowair Foundation and head of the Organizing Committee, and Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef, President of the Kuwait Football Association.

Senior representatives emphasized the initiative’s diplomatic value and humanitarian purpose. H.E. Abdulaziz Saud Al-Jarallah highlighted Kuwait’s ongoing commitment to humanitarian diplomacy and thanked the UN and the participating embassies for their collaboration. UN Resident Coordinator H.E. Ghada Hatem ElTahir praised the initiative as a powerful example of how sports can advance peace, sustainable development, and solidarity. Sheikha Intisar Al-Sabah described the event as the beginning of a global movement that places “humanity at the heart of football,” while Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef reaffirmed the Kuwait Football Association’s dedication to using sport as a platform for unity, community building, and global cooperation.

Balsam Al-Ayoub, Advisor and Board Member, echoed these sentiments, calling Football for

Humanity a tangible example of sport driving empowerment and social change. As a former international athlete, she expressed pride in Kuwait’s leadership in combining humanitarian values with athletic culture.

Youth Tournament

At the heart of the initiative was a youth football tournament featuring more than 400 boys and girls aged 8–12, representing diverse nationalities. The event offered a compassionate approach to sports: matches were played without referees, guided instead by self-management and a “green card” system rewarding sportsmanship. With no scores or rankings, the tournament emphasized empathy, fairness, and human connection rather than competition. Both opening and closing ceremonies included artistic performances celebrating unity and expressing solidarity with Palestinian children. The program also featured an exhibition match by Kuwait’s U-17 women’s team at the Jaber Al-Ahmad Youth Center.

Charity Auction

Extending the initiative’s humanitarian impact, Football for Humanity launched a global charity auction, with proceeds supporting Palestinian children through the Kuwait Red Crescent Society. The auction includes an exceptional collection of memorabilia: a Kuwait national team jersey signed by legend Jassem Yaqoub, a Barcelona

jersey signed by Andrés Iniesta, an AC Milan shirt signed by Andrea Pirlo, and a Brazil national team jersey signed by Vinícius Júnior, Alisson Becker, and Raphinha. Additional items include jerseys from Belgium and Italy, and footballs signed by members of Tunisia’s national team — all accompanied by certificates of authenticity.

Partnerships and Global Collaboration

Aligned with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, Football for Humanity built an unprecedented coalition of government institutions, UN agencies, foreign embassies, NGOs, and the private sector. Key partners included Al Hamra Shopping Center, Makhazen, Kout Food Group (Pizza Hut Kuwait), and VO Creative Platform. These collaborations reflect a shared belief in the power of football to promote human values, amplify diplomatic cooperation, and deliver real benefits for children impacted by conflict.

Guided by a Board of Trustees composed of leaders from Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UN, and ambassadors from 11 countries, the initiative stands as a pioneering model of UN–diplomatic–sports collaboration. It also sets the stage for future editions with broader reach and expanded humanitarian goals.

ART CAIRO

Art Cairo returns for its 7th edition at the Grand Egyptian Museum, from 22 to 26 January 2026

Art Cairo, Egypt’s leading international art fair and the foremost platform dedicated to Arab art and Arab voices, announces its seventh edition taking place from 22 to 26 January 2026 at the Grand Egyptian Museum, with the programme commencing on 22 January with an exclusive VIP preview before welcoming the wider public.

The 2026 fair will unfold under the annual theme “Arab. Art. Here” inspired by the words of Mahmoud Darwish “This is my language, my miracle, my magic wand”. The theme celebrates the Arabic language as a living art form, a bridge between past and present, and a source of creative expression that continues to inspire artists and audiences alike. It reflects the poetic power of words and their ability to translate feeling, memory, and imagination into art.

Art Cairo is a dedicated platform that connects established and emerging artists from the MENA region with local, regional, and international audiences. By featuring diverse galleries and a comprehensive fair program, it fosters the growth of contemporary artists and highlights the artistic richness of the region.

Held at the iconic Grand Egyptian Museum, Art Cairo offers a unique setting where modern and contemporary art meets Egypt’s historical grandeur, creating a one-of-a-kind cultural experience.

Returning once again to the Grand Egyptian Museum, now in its fourth year as the home of Art Cairo, the fair continues to thrive at the intersection of heritage and contemporary creativity. The GEM officially opened on 1 November 2025 in a landmark celebration, affirming its place as the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single civilization and a defining cultural landmark for Egypt. With its scale, ambition and global significance, the museum represents a new chapter for cultural and artistic exchange in the country. Hosting Art Cairo immediately after the opening reflects a natural continuation of this momentum, bringing one of Egypt’s most important contemporary art moments into the heart of its most iconic cultural institution and reinforcing the growth and confidence of the cultural scene.

Speaking about the upcoming edition, Mohammed Younis, Founder and Director of Art Cairo, said: “We are delighted to welcome back Art Cairo for its seventh edition, building on the growing success of previous years. This fair was created as a platform for Arab artists and galleries to thrive, and to offer a space that feels accessible

and inspiring to everyone — from loyal and young collectors to visitors who simply love to experience art. Our mission has always been to nurture the regional art ecosystem and continue shaping a homegrown dialogue around creativity and culture.”

Building on the momentum of its previous editions, Art Cairo 2026 will bring together leading galleries from across the Arab world and beyond. With the return of renowned galleries coming from Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt, the fair will also welcome a diverse selection of regional and international participants, including galleries from Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Turkey, Senegal, and Nigeria.

LEADING WITH INTENTION

Unveiling the Jumeirah Messilah Beach experience through the eyes of its General Manager, Nader Neishabouri

Inside an oasis of calm along Kuwait’s shoreline, a world of precision, elegance, and energy comes together at Jumeirah Messilah Beach. Not only is the property one marked by bespoke elegance, but it is also a landmark destination in Kuwait, its shores dotted with the memories of everyone who grew up visiting this seaside area. Today, the palm-lined entrance to the resort marks the beginning of an iconic journey, deeply woven into the Kuwaiti Hospitality scene, and at the heart of it all is General Manager Nader Neishabouri.

The Intrigue of Hospitality

Taking the lead as the hotel’s General Manager since 2023, Nader’s presence is composed yet warm, steady enough to command operations of this scale, gentle enough to put guests instantly at ease. He greets us with the quiet confidence of someone who has lived a lifetime in hotels. “Growing up, I often travelled with my parents across Europe, staying in some of the finest hotels. I was drawn not just to the glamour of the environment, but to the precision, elegance, and energy that defined hotel operations. I was captivated by the way staff carried themselves, the attention to detail, and the seamless orchestration of service,” he says. “My father’s passion for dining and exploring new cuisines also exposed me to the culinary side of hospitality, which added another layer of intrigue for me,” Nader explains.

In this sense, Nader’s path towards a career in hospitality arrived as an organic decision: “Hospitality felt like a natural fit. I was excited by the idea of

working in an environment where service, culture, leadership, and creativity all come together under one roof. I pursued a degree in hospitality management with a clear ambition to grow into a leadership role in the industry, and I’ve never looked back since.”

His experience is backed by a strong education, as he holds an MA in International Business from Northampton University and MIH credential from the Institute of Hospitality.

The Calm by Kuwait’s Coastline

While Nader’s career began in the UK at the Fivestar luxury Hotel Lords of the Manor which boasts a Michelin-star restaurant and has held several roles at different properties in London, he doesn’t describe his move to Kuwait as an assignment, but rather as a home he chose. He says, “I have really grown to appreciate Kuwait and the culture here. It feels like a true family environment, and what I enjoy most is the balance you get. You feel the traditional Kuwaiti spirit

everywhere, yet at the same time you experience the modern energy of the Middle East. People have been incredibly welcoming, and the food scene is one of the best in the GCC, with so much variety. Overall, I am genuinely happy that I made the move to Kuwait.”

It’s no surprise, then, that leading Jumeirah Messilah Beach, a hotel that locals consider the luxury address, feels like a natural fit for him. This is Kuwait’s first ultra-luxury resort, still holding the largest inventory, the largest events and conference space, and the most expansive outdoor beachfront experience in the country. With a smile, he adds, “I feel genuinely blessed to lead a resort where Arabian hospitality meets refined luxury in a way that aligns beautifully with the local culture.”

Why Every Detail Matters

Behind the scenes of the serene beachfront Jumeirah Messilah Beach, a hive of intricate coordination buzzes. Nader oversees it all, from rooms division, F&B

ops, revenue management, and quality assurance; he ensures that every guest’s stay surpasses the one before. He certainly views this as the hotel’s most distinctive signifier, because Jumeirah understands that every detail matters.

Nader understands that the Kuwaiti guest is fundamentally unique and that the hotel has always excelled at guest relationships. From the moment you set foot on the property until you leave, you are treated to an unrivalled level of care. He adds, “Compared to many other markets, Kuwaiti guests place exceptional value on hospitality that feels sincere, attentive, and detail-oriented — qualities deeply rooted in the nation’s traditions. At the same time, they are highly discerning and well-travelled, with a clear preference for premium experiences, convenience, and seamless digital interactions.”

He highlights the importance of social hospitality, spaces that bring families, colleagues, and communities together. Jumeirah Messilah Beach, with its scale and setting, is uniquely positioned to deliver that blend of connection and comfort.

“My team and I are always focused on turning every guest interaction into a long-lasting relationship. What inspires me every day is the level of creativity this resort allows. We have such a wide variety of room types and an incredible range of experiences, from tennis and volleyball to water sports, outdoor yoga sessions, an indoor cinema, and even PlayStation options for teens. It is a place where you can constantly surprise guests and elevate their stay into something memorable,” Nader elaborates.

Riding the Wave, Crafting Perfect Stays Jumeirah Messilah Beach views itself as a majlis of global culture, conversation, and connection, a view that forms the underlying philosophy of Nader’s overall strategy. Implementation can be seen in carefully curated experiences that feel global in inspiration yet remain cohesive, intentional, and deeply respectful of the resort’s sense of place. From the award-winning Talise Spa, diverse culinary concepts, to extensive recreational facilities, all are continuously refined to meet the expectations of a sophisticated clientele accustomed to international luxury standards.

For Nader, understanding evolving guest preferences and shifting industry landscapes while shaping the hotel’s strategy remains a masterful skill. He explains, “Kuwaiti guests today seek far more than a traditional hotel stay — they look for personalized escapes that combine relaxation, fine dining, wellness, and meaningful family moments. In response, we have continued to enhance our signature strengths: our unrivalled beachfront location, worldclass hospitality, and a comprehensive selection of leisure facilities designed for guests of all ages. A key aspect of our strategy has been curating bespoke staycation packages tailored specifically to the local market. Whether it is a family retreat, a gourmet dining experience, a wellness-focused spa break, or a romantic escape, each package is thoughtfully crafted to offer a sense of exclusivity and discovery within the comfort of Kuwait’s premier luxury resort.”

This strategy may seem effortless when he explains it, but behind the vision lies a strong emphasis geared toward elevating every aspect of the guest experience. “Ultimately, the growing interest in luxury staycations has reaffirmed our role not merely as a hotel, but as a true destination — a place where guests can reconnect, celebrate, and enjoy a genuine sense of escape, all within a setting that embodies Arabian hospitality and Jumeirah’s exceptional lifestyle experience,” Nader says.

Growth with Soul at the Heart of it all

At Jumeirah Messilah Beach, staying in one of Kuwait’s most loved luxury beachfront resorts is about balancing

heritage with evolution. Nader’s main focus is to keep the property authentic and relevant while standing out in a market that continues to grow. The sense of place easily sets Jumeirah Messilah Beach apart, as very few hotels can offer beachfront calm, generous space, and a true resort feeling inside the city.

“Innovation also helps us stay ahead. We refresh our culinary concepts, enhance wellness, and introduce smart technology that improves convenience and personalization, all without losing the warmth that defines Jumeirah hospitality,” Nader continues, “And we listen. Our guests are passionate and deeply attached to this property. Their feedback guides improvements and inspires new ideas. Many

families have been with us for years, and protecting that trust matters to all of us. In short, we stand out because we protect what makes us unique, elevate what truly matters, and never allow complacency. That is how we continue to earn our place in the hearts of our guests.”

Dining, Wellness, and the Art of Memory

As Nader reflects on a remarkable year at the hotel, he credits food, wellness, and leisure at the heart of the guest experience at Jumeirah Messilah Beach. At the hotel, each venue stands on its own. Olio brings refined Italian dining, Garden Cafe delivers global flavors, Pepper is their premium steakhouse, and Sea Breeze Beach Club brings a relaxed Mediterranean spirit to one of Kuwait’s best beaches.

Nader also believes that wellness carries equal weight. “Today’s guests want balance and wellbeing, whether they are here for leisure, business, or a staycation. Talise Spa is one of our signature pillars with its serene atmosphere, holistic treatments, and wet facilities that are rare in the market. With the launching of a new era for Talise as part of the Jumeirah portfolio, we expect to take the experience even further. Wellness for us is not a trend. It is a philosophy that shapes how we design spaces and how we train our teams.”

To constantly elevate all of these guest touchpoints, updates are made consistently throughout the hotel’s outlets, he adds, “We upgraded furniture at Garden Cafe Terrace and Olio to create more refined and welcoming spaces. We launched Sea Breeze Beach Club, bringing Mediterranean and Latin American flavours to the shoreline, which quickly became a guest favourite. Talise Spa received a redesigned entrance, a new facade, upgraded treatment chairs, enhanced relaxation areas, and more improvements on the way. We also earned strong recognition from Forbes Travel Guide with a Four Star rating for the hotel

and a Five Star for the spa for the second year in a row. And on the culinary side, Pepper and Olio both secured the top TripAdvisor rankings in Kuwait.

Teamwork and Dedication, Beyond the KPIs From talent development to service excellence, the team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach sit at the centre of everything. Nader attributes the hotel’s success and recognition, from guest satisfaction to awards, to the dedication and professionalism of his colleagues. “My role is to make sure every team member feels valued, supported, and inspired to deliver the level of hospitality that defines Jumeirah.”

“Talent development is a key priority. We invest in structured training, leadership pathways, and cross departmental exposure so colleagues can grow both professionally and personally. I encourage a culture where questions are welcome, ideas are shared openly, and innovation is part of daily work. When people feel confident and capable, they naturally deliver better service, and they stay with us longer,” he explains with pride and confidence in his team. In an industry where high turnover rates can hurt the business, Nader has found a way to make sure that Jumeirah Messilah Beach is not affected through leading by example, listening and celebrating his team. “Seeing the same warmth in a welcome at 7am or at 11pm. Watching new colleagues grow into leaders. Seeing returning guests greet our team by name. That is when you know the culture is strong.”

Sustainability, Community & Future Vision

Jumeirah Messilah Beach’s location is not only a main attraction, it is also pivotal to Jumeirah’s sustainability goals. Nader is driving meaningful change by leading several initiatives that will help protect and nurture the environment. One of the latest projects nearing completion and that will be launching very soon at the hotel is the introduction of an in-house water filtration

plant. The initiative will allow the property to remove all single-use plastic water bottles from the resort and replace them with refillable glass bottles across rooms, suites, restaurants, events, and wellness spaces. This is just one example of many.

Nader passionately points us towards the Mangrove seedlings positioned by the shoreline, “Jumeirah Messilah Beach will become the first hotel in Kuwait to plant mangroves along the coastal fringe. Mangroves help filter water naturally, stabilize the coastline, prevent erosion, and create important habitats for marine life and birds. EPA specialists will guide the planting and monitoring to ensure best practices.

The mangrove project will also have an educational element. We want to engage our guests, our colleagues, and the community in understanding why mangroves are essential for biodiversity and climate resilience.”

Projects like these, place the resort at the forefront of responsible luxury. This clearly ties in with Jumeirah Messilah Beach’s deep connection to Kuwait, and a relationship with the local community that is a core part of who they are. They take pride in reflecting Kuwaiti heritage through the experiences and service that is offered, the architecture and styling choices, so guests feel a real sense of place throughout their stay.

“Our community work goes well beyond hospitality. We look for partnerships that support education, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility. A great example is our collaboration with The English School. Through our joint investment, they have started growing organic fruits and vegetables through a vertical farming system, and we will be receiving that produce. Our culinary team, especially at Olio, will integrate these ingredients directly into the menu. This imitative supports local education, strengthens our sustainability efforts, and promotes responsible sourcing. Their vertical farm produces lettuces, herbs, kale, arugula, cherry tomatoes, compact cucumbers, microgreens, edible flowers, and several specialty herbs. To highlight this to guests, we installed a small tower garden at Olio, so diners can see the inspiration behind their dishes,” he tells us.

As we look ahead to the next chapter of Jumeirah Messilah Beach, Nader has a clear message; one of gratitude and optimism.

“To our guests, thank you for your trust and loyalty. Many of you have celebrated milestones with us and created memories that span years. That connection motivates us to keep elevating what we do. We remain committed to delivering experiences that feel personal and meaningful, and we look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy everything new that is coming.

To my team, I offer my deepest thanks. Your dedication, professionalism, and genuine warmth are the reason this resort stands where it stands. The future holds exciting possibilities as we elevate our offerings, strengthen our sustainability journey, and create experiences that honour both Kuwait and the values of Jumeirah. With the support of our guests and the commitment of our team, I am confident we will continue shaping a destination that stays close to the hearts of everyone who visits,” he concludes.

DA GUSTO: A TASTE OF HOME IN EVERY BITE

How Chef Susy brings Italy’s heart and soul to Kuwait

Step into Da Gusto and you’ll immediately feel it—the warmth of an Italian home. The laughter, the aromas, the music of a language that feels like sunshine. Behind this cozy restaurant in the heart of Kuwait is Chef Susanna, or as everyone calls her, Chef Susy—an Italian architect-turned-chef whose journey from southern Italy to Kuwait is one of love, passion, and the joy of feeding people like family.

“Ciao! I’m Susanna, but everyone calls me Chef Susy,” she says with her signature smile. “I’m the heart and hands behind Da Gusto. I was born and raised in Italy, and I’ve brought with me not just the recipes, but the warmth, laughter, and passion of Italian family meals. I love making people feel at home—that’s what Da Gusto is all about.”

Surprisingly, Susy’s first profession wasn’t in food. She trained as an architect, but the kitchen was always where her heart lived. “My aunt wrote a cookbook and even owned a restaurant. My mother and grandmothers were incredible cooks. Their kitchens were filled with love, laughter, and amazing aromas—that’s where my passion truly began,” she explains.

After years spent living in different countries, Susy found that cooking brought her closer to her roots, no matter where she was. When her daughters left for university, she returned to Kuwait from another expat experience—and that’s when destiny called. “Someone in my family gave me a big push to open Da Gusto. And here I am now!”

Da Gusto isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a love letter to Italy. Every dish carries a whisper of Susy’s hometown in southern Italy, with flashes of Sorrento’s citrus groves, Sardinia’s sea breeze, and long, dreamy afternoons in Rome. “Da Gusto was born from my memories of home—the flavors, the warmth, the art of simplicity,” she says.

The culinary identity is pure, classic Italian. “We focus on authentic recipes and timeless flavors that reflect Italy’s rich heritage,” she adds. “Our goal is to offer guests a genuine, nostalgic experience with dishes that honor old techniques and regional classics.”

If there’s one dish that defines Da Gusto, it’s the Handmade Pasta with Classic Neapolitan Ragu. “It’s my family recipe and everyone’s favorite,” Chef Susy smiles. “The secret lies in our slow-cooked sauce, perfected over generations. We use high-quality short ribs and make fresh pasta daily. It’s simple, but deeply soulful.”

Authenticity, however, doesn’t mean rigidity. Living in Kuwait has inspired her to embrace local influences while keeping the soul of Italian cuisine intact. “Our Lamb Risotto is inspired by Machboos, using saffron, cumin, bay leaves, and cloves. It’s our way of blending both cultures smoothly without losing our authentic taste.”

While essential ingredients like DOP and IGP cheeses, Italian olives, and specialty flours are imported to preserve authenticity, many ingredients are proudly sourced locally. “We use local vegetables, herbs, and meats whenever possible. It’s about freshness and supporting the community,” she says.

Every morning, the team at Da Gusto makes fresh pasta by hand. “We use high-quality flour and fresh eggs, knead the dough carefully, and shape the pasta with love. Being a small restaurant allows us to prepare everything fresh daily,” says Susy.

Seasonality in the Gulf can be tricky, but Da Gusto finds beauty in flexibility. “We plan our specials around what’s fresh and available locally,” she explains. “It keeps our menu interesting and gives our guests something new to look forward to every time they visit.”

Everything at Da Gusto is halal, ensuring that guests can enjoy authentic Italian dishes with peace of mind. The restaurant also offers glutenfree and vegetarian options, making sure everyone can share in the experience.

And no Italian meal is complete without dessert and coffee. “Guests must not leave without trying our tiramisu or panna cotta,” she insists. “And a great espresso is essential—it’s part of who we are.”

Ask Chef Susy about hospitality, and her answer comes from the heart: “We train our team to treat every guest like family. We greet them with a ‘Buongiorno’ or ‘Buonasera,’ remember their favorites, and serve with warmth. It’s about creating a home away from home.”

Running a small restaurant comes with challenges—from sourcing ingredients to training staff—but Susy sees them as part of the journey. “We’ve built strong relationships with suppliers and focus on good communication. Flexibility and teamwork are everything,” she says.

Kuwait’s dining scene evolves fast, but Da Gusto remains steady in its purpose. “We stay true to our roots by focusing on traditional Italian recipes, adding small seasonal touches while keeping our classic favorites. It’s about balance— something new, something familiar.”

As for what’s next? “We’re exploring new possibilities—maybe new dishes, a tasting menu, or something else exciting—but whatever it is, our goal remains the same: to make every guest feel like they’ve traveled to Italy, right here in Kuwait.”

At Da Gusto, every plate tells a story of love, heritage, and home. And through the hands of Chef Susy, Italy isn’t a place on the map—it’s a feeling that lingers long after the last bite.

MICRO-MONEY MOVES

Tiny habits that build savings without stress.

Big financial turnarounds look glamorous, but the quiet wins come from tiny habits you repeat. Think of these as low friction nudges that stack up in the background. Focus on three high leverage moves you can set and forget: round ups, subscription audits, and cash stuffing lite. Add two bonus habits for momentum and you are on your way.

ROUND UPS: SAVE BY DEFAULT

Round ups take every card purchase and move the spare change into savings. Buy a coffee for 2.60 and 0.40 jumps to your stash. Many banks offer this as an automated feature. If yours does not, create a weekly rule. Every Friday, transfer the total cents from your balance to the next whole number. Example: if your balance is 412.18, move 0.82 to savings. It sounds small. It is small. That is why it works. You never feel the loss, but you see the pattern grow.

SUBSCRIPTION AUDITS: CUT SILENT LEAKS

Unused subscriptions are a tax on your attention and your wallet. Do a fast audit once a quarter.

1. Pull the last 90 days of transactions.

2. List anything that renews monthly or yearly.

3. Label each: Keep, Pause, Cancel.

4. For “Keep,” set a reminder one week before the next renewal to confirm.

5. For “Pause,” use the longest pause option and review later.

6. For “Cancel,” do it now. Delete saved cards on the service to avoid reactivation drift.

Power tip: for streaming, keep only one at a time. Rotate monthly. You get fresh shows and avoid paying for four platforms you barely open.

CASH STUFFING LITE: ENVELOPES, BUT DIGITAL

The full envelope method uses physical cash. Cash stuffing lite keeps the clarity but in your existing accounts. Make three sub accounts or labeled spaces in your banking app.

· Essentials: rent, utilities, groceries, transport.

· Joy: dining out, small treats, hobbies.

· Future: savings, emergency, sinking funds. On payday, auto split your income by percentage. Example: 60 percent to Essentials, 20 percent to Joy, 20 percent to Future. Spend Joy money guilt free. When it is gone, you are done until the next refill. This reduces “Should I or should I not” fatigue and keeps overspending contained.

BONUS HABIT 1: 24 HOUR RULE

For non essentials over your personal limit, add a one day pause. Save the item to a wish list. If you still want it tomorrow and it fits your Joy budget, buy it. This prevents impulse buys that eat your savings.

BONUS HABIT 2: PRICE MEMORY

Keep a tiny note on your phone with the normal price for your top ten groceries and household items.

When you see a real discount, you will know and can stock up without guessing.

AUTOMATE THE FEEDBACK

Money habits stick when you see a win. Create a simple tracker with three lines: Round Ups total, Subs canceled this quarter, Joy spent this month. Update weekly. Watching the numbers move is its own motivation.

TRY IT TODAY

Turn on round ups or do the manual Friday sweep. Cancel one subscription you barely use. Create three labeled spaces for cash stuffing lite and set your auto split for the next payday. Small moves, repeated, build real savings without feeling like a grind.

THE ART OF LUXURY HOSPITALITY

Inside the Mind of Jacopo Bruni, Director of Operations at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait

When Jacopo Bruni introduces himself, he keeps it disarmingly simple. No elaborate titles, no industry buzzwords. Just a man passionate about hospitality — the kind that sparks emotion and connection, whether in a dining room, a kitchen, or a five-star hotel lobby. His career has carried him across continents from Italy to China, through the GCC, and ultimately to Kuwait, but his philosophy remains unchanged: hospitality is an experience you craft with intention.

As Director of Operations at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, Jacopo oversees the pulse of one of the country’s most celebrated luxury destinations. Rooms, restaurants, spa, recreation, brand standards, and the complete guest journey all fall under his leadership. “My focus is on service excellence, operational efficiency, and maintaining the Waldorf Astoria legacy,” he says. “Luxury isn’t just aesthetics, it’s deeply personal.”

People at the Heart of It All

Ask Jacopo what he loves most about his work, and he answers without hesitation: the people. Leading a team representing more than 40 nationalities, he finds joy in nurturing talent and building a culture of collaboration. “Every day, we have the privilege to turn ordinary moments into unforgettable memories,” he says. “That’s the real reward.”

His days are anything but predictable. Mornings begin with a hotel walk-through, connecting with guests and team members before shifting into briefings and performance reviews. Afternoons are dedicated to strategy — planning new projects, partnerships, and restaurant activations. He ends most days where he feels most grounded: on the floor, ensuring the guest experience finishes as flawlessly as it begins.

A Global Lens, a Kuwaiti Spirit

Working around the world has shown Jacopo how hospitality expresses itself differently across cultures, yet its essence never changes. “Hospitality is universal. It’s about people, emotion, and connection,” he says. Kuwait, however, brings something special. Its generosity, strong sense of community, and appreciation for authentic luxury create a unique environment. Waldorf Astoria further elevates this spirit. “It’s a timeless brand,” Jacopo explains. “A balance of

tradition, elegance, and innovation — always evolving but true to its heritage.”

Mastering the Moving Parts

Managing operations at this scale requires structure, clarity, and sharp prioritization. Jacopo relies on data-driven decisions, thoughtful delegation, and open communication. But for him, the true key is empowerment. “When people understand the ‘why’ behind what we do, alignment comes naturally,” he says.

His education mirrors his diverse career — a Master in Italian Cuisine from Esac Formazione, a Professional Pastry Chef diploma from ALMA, and food & beverage management program from Cornell University. Yet he believes education and experience play equally important roles. “Experience builds intuition. Education sharpens perspective. You need both.”

From Chef’s Whites to Corporate Leadership

Before stepping into leadership, Jacopo’s world was the kitchen — his first love. “Even when I started working on the floor and behind the bar, I always had my eye on the kitchen,” he laughs. The kitchen taught him discipline, patience, and an uncompromising pursuit of perfection.

Though he misses the creative rush of cooking, he now views the entire hotel as his expanded kitchen. “Operations still demand precision and creativity,” he says. “Just with people, systems, and experiences instead of ingredients.” His biggest lesson from the kitchen? “Never accept mediocrity — that’s the cornerstone of luxury hospitality.”

His Leadership Philosophy

Jacopo leads through empowerment, trust, and consistency. He is a believer in leading by example, celebrating small wins, and creating a culture where ideas are welcomed and initiative is encouraged.

Is leadership innate or learned? “Leadership can absolutely be learned,” he asserts. “Some may have natural charisma, but true leadership grows from empathy, awareness, and continuous learning.”

If he could speak to his younger self, his advice would be simple: be patient. “Success takes time. Growth usually happens during the hardest moments. Stay curious and trust the process.”

Looking Ahead

Over the next five years, Jacopo hopes to continue evolving within global luxury hospitality while mentoring the next generation of hoteliers. “They are the ones who will shape the future of our industry,” he says.

Outside the hotel, Jacopo keeps his life active and balanced. Early morning runs help him reset, travel fuels his curiosity, and exploring local food scenes keeps him inspired. Time with loved ones matters most. “If I can end the day with a match, a great meal, and a laugh with friends, that’s the perfect balance.”

GREEN AT HOME

Low-effort ways to save water and energy.

Cutting waste at home does not require a renovation—just a few tiny switches that deliver real savings on your bill and a cooler, calmer home. Start with quick wins you can set once and then forget.

Shorter showers reduce both water use and the energy needed to heat it. Aim for five minutes, using a simple sand timer or a waterproof phone timer to keep you honest. If you can, swap to a low-flow showerhead rated around 7 to 9 liters per minute; good designs mix air with water so they still feel satisfying. Fix drips promptly, because a small leak can waste thousands of liters a year. If the shower keeps dripping after you close it, the cartridge or washer likely needs replacing.

Faucet aerators are another fast fix. These small tips screw onto taps and mix air into the stream, cutting flow without making the water feel weak. In the kitchen, a 6 to 8 L/min aerator is ideal, while bathroom sinks are fine at 4 to 6 L/min for handwashing and brushing teeth. Keep a small wrench and plumber’s tape on hand; installation takes minutes. Every few months, soak the aerators in vinegar to clear limescale so they keep performing well.

Cooling is usually the biggest energy draw in our region, so small AC adjustments pay off quickly. Set the thermostat between 24 and 26°C for daily comfort; every degree warmer can save roughly 3 to 5 percent on cooling costs. Use Auto fan settings and close doors to rooms you are not using to keep cool air where you need it. Shade windows first by closing curtains or blinds during peak sun; light-colored blackout curtains work best. Clean or replace filters monthly in summer because dirty filters force the unit to run longer for the same result. If you have ceiling fans, turn them on to feel cooler and raise the thermostat by 1 to 2 degrees without losing comfort.

Lighting changes are simple and effective. Replace remaining bulbs with LEDs—they use up to 80 percent less energy and last far longer than incandescents or CFLs. Choose warm white (2700–3000K) for living areas and neutral white for task spaces like kitchens. In small zones such as closets, pantries, and hallways, add motion sensors so lights switch off automatically when you leave.

Appliance settings help, too. Set the fridge to 3 to 5°C and the freezer to about −18°C; colder wastes energy while warmer risks food safety. Let hot foods cool slightly before covering and refrigerating so the compressor does not work overtime. On the stove, match pot size to burner and cook with lids on to reduce heat loss. In the oven, switch it off a few minutes early and let residual heat finish the job.

Laundry and dish habits can trim costs without effort. Wash clothes in cold water unless they are heavily soiled; modern detergents are designed for

cold cycles. Clean the dryer’s lint filter after every cycle to improve airflow, and line dry when possible. Run the dishwasher only when full, select Eco mode, and choose air-dry instead of heat-dry for the final phase.

Your water heater and hidden leaks also deserve a quick check. Set the heater to about 50 to 55°C to prevent unnecessary energy use and reduce scald risk. To find silent toilet leaks, add a few drops of food coloring to the tank; if color appears in the bowl without flushing, replace the flapper.

Finally, address standby power. Many devices sip electricity even when “off.” Plug TVs, game consoles, and printers into a smart power strip and cut the strip when not in use. Unplug rarely used chargers; they draw a trickle even with no phone attached. Try three moves today: install a bathroom aerator, set the AC to 25°C, and place a five-minute shower timer. Then schedule a monthly 15-minute “Home Reset” to clean AC filters, clear the lint trap, and scan for leaks. Small habits lead to big savings—and your home will feel cooler, quieter, and kinder to both your bill and the planet.

FERRARI PUROSANGUE THE THOROUGHBRED REIMAGINED

THE PRANCING HORSE’S FIRST EVER FOUR-DOOR FOUR-SEATER

They unveiled it in a setting built for spectacle: the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, a sun-baked amphitheatre carved into the Tuscan hills, where sound and silence meet with theatrical intent. There, Ferrari introduced something both unexpected and inevitable: the Purosangue. Its name means “thoroughbred” in Italian, a signal of purity, lineage, and the unmistakable DNA threaded through 75 years of Ferrari history. As the brand’s first true four-door, four-seater, it arrives not as a deviation but an evolution, a reshaped thoroughbred made for modern living, engineered to carry both legacy and lifestyle with unbroken conviction.

That duality became vivid when bazaar took the Purosangue out of Kuwait City and south toward the quiet of Wafra. The journey felt like stepping into a different film—one where the pace softened, the light shifted, and wide skies replaced the sharp geometry of glass towers. At AFrame Wafra, a serene farm framed by palms, geometric gardens, and honey-gold light, the Purosangue settled into a landscape that echoed its character. Its silhouette cut crisp lines against rolling greenery, its deep reflections catching the late-afternoon sun. At rest, it resembled sculpture; in motion, it became poetry. The day unfolded like a contemporary portrait of ease and elegance, a car equally at home in cinematic momentum or quiet stillness, embodying a lifestyle defined not by speed alone, but by intention.

To label the Purosangue a crossover would miss the point entirely. It is Ferrari rethinking proportion and purpose without surrendering the DNA that defines the brand. Its mid-frontmounted, naturally aspirated V12 is a statement of philosophy as much as engineering, a reminder that some sensations are irreplaceable. The engine rises in a long, linear swell toward 8,250 rpm, producing a soundtrack that is pure Ferrari: resonant, emotional, unmistakable. It turns empty roads into stages, yet remains refined enough for long, contemplative drives where power becomes presence rather than noise.

Inside, the car reveals a different kind of performance. The cabin balances sport and

serenity with exacting precision: four independent, sculpted seats; a twin-cockpit layout that mirrors driver and passenger; and materials chosen for both luxury and consciousness. Leather, recycled Alcantara, and modern textiles form a space that feels curated, calm, and quietly thoughtful. The interior’s warmth stands in deliberate contrast to the athletic exterior, creating a sanctuary designed for all four occupants.

The Purosangue’s form is guided by more than aesthetics, it is shaped by air itself. The floating upper body, muscular haunches, and distinctive aerobridge carve a silhouette that appears to move even when parked. Every detail, from the technical front treatment to the clean sweep of

the roofline, merges purpose with poise. Open all four doors and the interior reveals itself in a theatrical gesture, transforming the space around the car as much as the space within it.

On the road, the Purosangue carries the confidence of something smaller and the stability of something larger. Ferrari’s most advanced dynamic systems work quietly beneath the surface, granting agility without sacrificing comfort. The steering feels intuitive and precise; the active suspension smooths imperfections while maintaining connection. It is a car that can dance when invited and glide when preferred, a harmony rarely achieved in a vehicle of its dimensions.

Luxury here is both material and experiential. A 3D sound system turns the cabin into an acoustic suite; air filtration ensures a calm, clean environment; thoughtful storage and refined controls make daily living feel effortless. This is a Ferrari designed not only for performance but for lifestyle, for getaways, long drives, personal rituals, and the quiet moments in between.

Sustainability threads subtly through its design. Recycled materials, reimagined textiles, and considered finishes reflect a

shifting expression of contemporary luxury. The Purosangue respects heritage without being restrained by it, embracing a future where power and responsibility coexist.

Personalisation deepens its emotional resonance. Electrochromic glass roofs, bespoke upholstery, and curated palettes allow owners to shape the Purosangue as an extension of their aesthetic identity. It becomes not just transportation, but a styled object, a character within one’s own narrative.

Ultimately, the Purosangue is a story of reconciliation: the roar of a V12 with the calm of open fields; acceleration with the softness of golden hour; Maranello precision with the poetry of escape. Whether launched in a Tuscan amphitheatre or photographed against the greenery of Wafra, it represents a new dimension of Ferrari—expanding tradition rather than rewriting it. A thoroughbred that understands the beauty of slowing down, breathing deeply, and moving through the world with intention.

DESK ERGONOMICS 101

Fix your setup to save your back.

Good ergonomics is not about fancy chairs. It is about arranging what you already have so your body works with gravity, not against it. Three elements do most of the work: screen height, chair cues, and short stretch breaks you actually take.

Start with your screen. The top edge should sit at, or slightly below, eye level so your gaze is horizontal and your neck stays neutral. If you use a laptop, raise it on a stack of books or a stand and add an external keyboard and mouse. Place the screen at arm’s length, then fine tune so you can read small text without leaning forward. If you use two monitors, center the primary screen in front of you; if you move between them equally, angle both so your nose points to the gap. Reduce glare by placing the setup perpendicular to windows and using warm, moderate brightness. Your eyes will feel it by 3 p.m.

Now dial in the chair. Sit back so your pelvis touches the backrest and your lower back is supported. If the chair has no lumbar support, roll a small towel and place it at the belt line. Adjust seat height so your hips are level with, or a little higher than, your knees. Feet should rest flat on the floor; if they do not, use a footrest or a firm box. Aim for a backrest angle of roughly 95 to 110 degrees, which lets you sit tall without stiffening. Keep shoulders relaxed and drop them away from your ears. Elbows

should bend about 90 to 100 degrees with forearms parallel to the desk. If the desk is too high, raise the chair and add a footrest; if it is too low, add risers under the legs.

Keyboard and mouse placement matter more than you think. Keep both close and at the same height so you do not reach. Wrists stay straight, not cocked up; float the hands lightly over the keys rather than pressing the wrist bones into the desk. A thin wrist rest can help, but the best cue is to pull the keyboard closer and lower the shoulders. If you feel one shoulder creeping forward, bring the mouse in line with your shoulder, not out to the side. Shortcuts reduce repetitive reaches, and a larger mouse pointer can lower squinting and neck craning. Plan your workspace like a cockpit. Items you use every hour should live within a forearm’s reach. Put the water bottle on the opposite side of the mouse to prompt small, balancing reaches. Keep cables tidy so you do not fight them. Light the desk with a lamp that throws soft, indirect light across the keyboard, and keep the room slightly cooler to promote alertness.

Micro breaks are where pain usually improves. Follow the 20 20 20 eye rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Every 30 to 45 minutes, stand for one minute and cycle three moves: chest opener (interlace fingers behind you and breathe twice), hip hinge (hands on hips, fold and return), and neck glide (gently tuck chin and lengthen the back of the neck). Add two mobility snacks after lunch: 10 slow shoulder rolls and a seated figure four stretch for the hips. None of these require changing clothes or a gym. Finally, build habits that make posture automatic. Place a small sticker on the top bezel as a cue to sit back and relax shoulders. Set a silent timer to nudge a one minute stand. Keep a note card with three checks: feet flat, ribs over pelvis, screen at eye line. The goal is not perfect stillness. It is steady variety in good positions, so your back, neck, and wrists share the load. Set it up today and your body will return the favor by the end of the week.

THE STORYTELLER BEHIND THE BRAND

An Interview with Kapriel Kalenderian, Director of PR & Communications at Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait

When you meet Kapriel Kalenderian, the Director of PR & Communications at Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya, he introduces himself in a way that instantly disarms you. Yes, he mentions his title— but he is quick to add, “I tell stories for a living.” It is a simple sentence, yet one that reveals his entire approach to both life and work. Kapriel is far more interested in connection than hierarchy, in human details rather than corporate formality.

Spend a day with him at the hotel, and you begin to understand the rhythm behind one of Kuwait’s most respected luxury brands. His mornings start earlier than most. Long before the first meeting, he is already at his desk, sorting through messages from the previous evening, setting the tone for a day built on clarity and intention. The quiet moments help him center himself ahead of the fast-paced, people-filled hours to come.

Then comes the daily briefing with the PR and Marketing team—quick, focused, collaborative. “That morning touchpoint is essential,” he says. It’s where strategies align and ideas take their first breath.

From there, the day unfolds as a series of interconnected conversations, each one touching a different layer of the hotel. One hour might involve the Spa team discussing an upcoming activation; the next might be dedicated to reviewing a photo shoot concept with the Rooms or Restaurants teams. Joint meetings with Sales and Catering help ensure consistency in messaging. Regular check-ins with Revenue Management keep communication tightly linked to the hotel’s broader goals.

And somewhere in between—all strategically, intentionally, consistently—Kapriel finds time for a fifteen-minute coffee with his colleagues. “That coffee is non-negotiable,” he says with a smile. “It’s where some of the best ideas and laughs happen.”

His afternoons often include calls with the Four Seasons corporate office, creative agencies, and brand partners. Influencers may arrive for a visit. A magazine might request an interview. A video shoot may be underway in one of the

restaurants. And still, Kapriel keeps an eye on Kuwait’s pulse: local news, cultural events, social media conversations—anything that may spark a story worth telling.

No two days are the same. “And that’s exactly what I love about it,” he says.

Kapriel’s path into hospitality wasn’t linear, but every step was intentional. His career began in humanitarian relief work, where he learned empathy and purpose. He later moved into telecom, retail, fashion, and education—roles that taught him agility and the importance of understanding people. “Whenever I made a move, I asked myself two things: Will I grow? Will I enjoy it? If both were yes, I took the leap.”

Hospitality, he explains, feels like the culmination of everything he learned. It is fastmoving yet deeply human, structured yet endlessly creative. It is where storytelling comes alive.

What surprised him most about joining Four Seasons is just how human luxury can be. In his hiring process, he noticed that he was being evaluated not just as a professional, but as a person. “It wasn’t about the résumé—it was about who I am.” That philosophy, he says, shapes the entire guest experience. True luxury is not just aesthetics or flawless service; it is

emotional intelligence. It is the feeling of being seen.

Despite holding a senior position, Kapriel describes leadership not as authority, but as a skill built through patience, reflection, and empathy. He knows his team would describe him as flexible and empowering—someone who gives space yet remains supportive.

He admits he’s continuously learning. “Leadership is an ongoing process. It develops through trust, experience, and the willingness to adapt.”

His goal is to create an environment where people feel valued, inspired, and confident.

“When you lead with understanding, people bring their best,” he says.

Kapriel is honest about the intensity of hospitality. The long hours and rapid pace required adjustment. But over time, he found a rhythm that suits him.

He works out two to three times a week because, as he puts it, “training resets my mind.”

As an extrovert, he draws energy from spending time with friends, exploring Kuwait’s dining and cultural scene, and connecting with loved ones through daily video calls. “Even a short call with my family or partner grounds me,” he says.

Balance, to him, isn’t about perfection—it’s about awareness. “You learn when to give more and when to slow down.”

When Kapriel wants to disconnect, he turns to one place: the indoor spa pool. With its suspended lanterns, soft lighting, and quiet hum of water, it feels like a sanctuary tucked inside the city—a place where the busyness of the day dissolves and serenity takes over. “It makes you want to linger a little longer,” he says.

If he could go back and give himself advice, it would be simple: worry less about the unknown. “Focus on what you know and what you can control. The rest unfolds on its own.”

He would remind himself to enjoy the present rather than constantly chasing the next step. Every challenge, he says, is an opportunity in disguise— another lesson that shapes who you become.

At the core of everything Kapriel does— whether overseeing a global campaign, refining a message, or walking through the lobby at the end of the day—is a love for stories. Stories of guests, of colleagues, of the community, of the hotel itself.

And in many ways, his own story reflects the Four Seasons ethos: warm, deeply human, and focused on creating moments that matter. Because in luxury hospitality, just like in life, the details make all the difference.

PORSCHE IN CIRCLES

Inside Porsche Centre Kuwait’s

Marketing

Team and the Communities Driving the Brand Forward

“Porsche

isn’t just a car—it’s a language of passion, precision, and pure performance, shared by people who see driving as an experience, not a routine,” explains the Marketing Team at Porsche Centre Kuwait.

“Our mission is to cultivate that culture. We don’t simply represent a brand; we bring together a community bound by heritage, innovation, and an unmistakable lifestyle. Through curated events, creative collaborations, and moments designed with intention, we connect owners, enthusiasts, and visionaries who all speak ‘Porsche’ in their own way.

Every initiative is crafted to spark emotion, fuel inspiration, and deepen the relationship between the brand and its people. Our goal is to keep Porsche alive in the hearts of the community—vibrant, personal, and impossible to replicate.”

In their role within the Marketing Department, the Marketing Team oversees brand communication, customer engagement,

and the execution of all marketing initiatives. “Our focus is on creating meaningful touchpoints between the brand and our customers—ensuring every interaction reflects Porsche’s standard of excellence.”

From exclusive events to curated driving experiences, digital storytelling to community collaborations, the team continues to shape each chapter of Porsche in Kuwait. And that story is rooted in one powerful element: the community.

Ask anyone inside Porsche Centre Kuwait to describe the Porsche community, and the answer is immediate: passion.

“The Porsche community is passionate, diverse, and deeply connected by a shared appreciation for performance, craftsmanship, and heritage,” the team says. “It’s a group of

individuals who don’t just drive a car—they embrace a lifestyle.”

This lifestyle spans generations, cultures, and professions. Owners, collectors, enthusiasts, track lovers, artists, coffee connoisseurs—each brings a unique energy to the ecosystem. And in Kuwait, that energy has grown into one of the most engaged Porsche communities in the region.

Engineer Zakaria Dashti, the founder of Porsche Club Kuwait, describes it as nothing less than family. “Imagine having a friend or family member in every city in the world,” he says. “It is the biggest automotive society in the world, with more than 700 clubs worldwide and more than 250,000 members. We treat each other like family—support, knowledge, experience, and everything in between.”

Left to right: Assistant Marketing Manager: Razan Khoury and Senior Marketing Executive: Reem Nageh, at the launch of the electric Macan

For Zakaria, Porsche has been a lifelong love. “My uncle used to take me to service his car, and I admired the Porsches in the showroom. Later, when I was studying in the UK, I joined Porsche Club Great Britain and discovered the incredible world behind the brand. It’s not only about the car—it’s a whole universe of experiences.”

That early passion led him to establish Porsche Club Kuwait in 2003. “We’re living a dream that became a reality,” he says.

To capture the richness and vibrancy of Kuwait’s Porsche culture, Porsche Centre Kuwait introduced a framework of Porsche Circles curated, interest-driven communities that reflect the diversity and depth within the brand. Throughout the year, the Centre has remained steadfast in nurturing these unique circles, each representing a distinct expression of the Porsche lifestyle:

• The Ladies Circle: celebrating female Porsche owners, empowering their stories, achievements, and passions.

• The GT Circle: uniting track enthusiasts and high-performance drivers who thrive on precision and adrenaline.

• The Photography & Artists Circle: spotlighting Kuwait’s leading automotive photographers and visual creators.

What began organically—fueled by shared emotions, memorable experiences, and the bonds formed at the Centre’s curated events—has evolved into a dynamic ecosystem. Each circle has grown a personality of its own, becoming a defining element of Porsche Kuwait’s cultural footprint and reinforcing the social connection between the brand and its passionate community.

Porsche Centre Kuwait launches ‘Empower Her’ campaign celebrating female entrepreneurs in Kuwait

The Ladies Circle, for example, came together in the refined setting of Driven by Her Dreams, where women exchanged stories of creativity and ambition while discovering Porsche’s latest innovations. On the other hand, performance aficionados in the GT Circle found their pulse at Kuwait Motor Town, experiencing both electric and combustion models under expert guidance—every acceleration, corner, and moment of control igniting a shared exhilaration for the art of driving.

Creativity and lifestyle also flourished across the community. Visual storytellers in the Photography & Artists Circle captured the cinematic ambiance of The Night of the Classics and the bespoke craftsmanship of Exclusive Manufaktur showcases, transforming Porsche experiences into striking visual narratives.

Together, these circles form a living, evolving community—one that Porsche Centre Kuwait continues to cultivate as part of its social promise: creating meaningful engagement, immersive experiences, and authentic connections. They reflect the brand’s commitment to creativity, lifestyle, and belonging, shaping a culture that is unmistakably, and beautifully, Porsche.

While Each circle represents a different passion point, together, they all echo one truth: Porsche brings people together.

“We foster the community by creating engaging experiences—curated events, driving activities, digital content, and collaborations,” says the marketing team. “Our goal is to help people feel connected, informed, valued, and included.”

While these circles are not formal partnerships, many members have participated in events, collaborations, and initiatives with Porsche Centre Kuwait—one of the organic ways the brand encourages creativity and shared passion.

Celebrating Ramadan Ghabka 2025 at Porsche Centre Kuwait

For Porsche Centre Kuwait, this focus on community is part of a bigger vision.

“Opening up to society, spotlighting local talents and achievements, and interacting with the broader community is central to our philosophy,” the team shares. “It’s exactly what Porsche does at Christophorus Magazine—celebrate people, highlight excellence, and collaborate with others. It’s organic marketing, and it’s meaningful CSR.”

It’s also a strategy built for long-term impact. Porsche continues to grow its presence in Kuwait, with combined events hosted this year between Porsche Centre Kuwait and Porsche Club Kuwait. And while exact ownership numbers remain private, it’s clear that loyalty is strong—many owners return for their second, third, or even fourth Porsche.

As for what’s coming next? The team is tightlipped. “For 2026, we have something special coming up—stay tuned.”

For Engineer Zakaria Dashti, the Porsche community is defined by unforgettable moments— like meeting Dr. Wolfgang Porsche at the 2014 World Endurance Championship in Bahrain. “At the end of the race, Porsche took its first win of the championship. Dr. Porsche saw me again and said, ‘You are our good luck charm!’ I never missed a race after that.”

Owning a Porsche, he explains, means achieving a dream. “Porsche has a status never achieved

by any other manufacturer in history. It is a global movement and a timeless trend.”

His dream Porsche? A classic. “I want to retire with a 1954 Porsche 356 pre-A Cabriolet, silver with red interior—just like the first Porsche that came to the Middle East from Kuwait.”

The future of the Porsche community in Kuwait is bold, ambitious, and deeply rooted in passion.

“We’d like to see the community continue to grow in engagement and diversity,” the marketing team says. “More interactive events, more exclusive experiences, and more creative ways to celebrate the Porsche lifestyle.”

Engineer Zakaria imagines an even stronger legacy. “Prosperity means creating something that flourishes across generations. Porsche people deserve the best. I hope we continue preparing the next generation to carry the torch—so the success continues from generation to generation.”

And whether behind the wheel of a GT3, collecting miniature models, shooting Porsche photography, or simply enjoying the drive with the windows down on the Gulf Road, one thing remains true:

In Kuwait, Porsche is more than a car. It is a community—and a family.

THE FUTURE OF SLEEP

Pillows, temperatures, and pre-bed screens that actually help.

Good sleep is not a mystery. It is biology plus routine. When you understand a few simple levers and pull them on repeat, your nights get deeper and your mornings feel calmer. Think of sleep as a rhythm your body wants to follow. Your job is to remove friction and send the right signals at the right time. Here is a science-lite guide to the choices that matter most, from the pillow under your head to the light on your screen.

TEMPERATURE: COOLER WINS

Keep the bedroom cool (18-20°C) to aid sleep. Use fans, breathable bedding, and light blankets, and consider a warm shower before bed to help your body cool down.

PILLOW FIT: SUPPORT THE NATURAL CURVE

Pillow height and support are crucial for comfort and proper alignment. Side sleepers need a higher loft, back sleepers a medium loft, and stomach sleepers the thinnest pillow possible.

LIGHT AND SCREENS: TIMING IS EVERYTHING

Exposure to bright light in the morning and dimmer light in the evening helps regulate the body clock. Limit bright, close light and stimulating content on screens before bed, opting for gentle activities like reading or listening to light audio.

CAFFEINE AND LATE MEALS

Caffeine and heavy meals can disrupt sleep. Avoid caffeine by early afternoon and eat light snacks if hungry.

NOISE, SMELL, AND CLUTTER

Predictable sound, calming scents, and a clutterfree environment can improve sleep quality.

NAP SMART

Naps are great when used well. Keep them short, about 15 to 25 minutes, and finish at least six hours before bedtime. Long evening naps can make it harder to fall asleep at night.

WHAT IF YOU WAKE AT 3 A.M.

Stay low key and keep lights dim if you can’t sleep. If still awake after 15-20 minutes, move to a chair and read something neutral until your eyes feel heavy.

THE BEDTIME STACK

A simple, repeatable routine that takes about 20 minutes.

· T minus 90 minutes: warm shower. Dry off, keep the room cool, put on comfortable layers.

· T minus 60 minutes: dim lights and lower screens. Set phone to night mode and reduce volume.

· T minus 30 minutes: light tidy of the bedroom for two minutes. Calm space, calm brain.

· T minus 25 minutes: prepare for tomorrow. Place one object that cues your first task on your desk or by the door.

· T minus 20 minutes: gentle stretch. Cat cow, chest opener, and seated fold. Focus on slow exhales.

· T minus 10 minutes: journaling. Write two lines about something small that went right and one thing you can let go of.

· T minus 5 minutes: breathing. Try 4 in, 6 out for five rounds.

· Lights out: cool room, quiet sound, comfortable pillow, and no clock glow.

UPGRADE PATH FOR BETTER SLEEP

Invest in a pillow, blackout curtains, and a warm bedside lamp for better sleep. Separate light blankets can also improve sleep quality for couples.

PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION

Sleep will vary. Travel, hormones, stress, and kids all change the picture. Do not chase perfect nights. Aim instead for a steady average. Run the bedtime stack most evenings. Keep the room cool. Use a pillow that fits your body. Dim the lights early. Over a few weeks you will notice fewer wake-ups, easier mornings, and more energy that lasts.

Better sleep is not about buying a new life. It is about sending your body the right messages in the right order. Make these choices boringly consistent and the future of your sleep will feel simple, humane, and deeply restful.

THE STRATEGY BEHIND MODERN LUXURY

Meet Daria Levchyshyna, Director of Marketing at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait

When Daria Levchyshyna introduces herself, she does so with quiet confidence. She describes herself as someone who is always striving to grow — staying humble, seeking meaningful opportunities, and finding joy in helping others succeed. For her, fulfillment comes from continuous learning and living a purposeful life.

Today, she channels that philosophy into her role as Director of Marketing at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, where she leads the brand’s creative and strategic direction with precision and vision. “My role is to uphold and strengthen the image of Waldorf Astoria,” she explains. From global partnerships to digital strategy and cross-department initiatives, Daria ensures the property remains a benchmark of modern luxury and exceptional guest experiences in the region.

A Dynamic, Creative World

For Daria, the magic of marketing lies in its constant movement. “Every day is different,” she says. Campaigns, collaborations, activations, pop-ups, and media visits keep her work fresh and dynamic. She thrives in the balance between structure and creativity — following clear plans while leaving room for new ideas and opportunities. She especially enjoys meeting people, building connections, and crafting stories that bring the Waldorf Astoria brand to life.

Her days begin with a large office board — a visual map of social media plans, events, collaborations, and project updates. She reviews, reprioritizes, and then prepares her to-do list before joining the morning commercial meeting. From there, her focus shifts to whatever drives the biggest impact that day, whether brand alignment, content development, or supporting major initiatives across departments.

Why Waldorf Astoria, and Why Kuwait

Daria’s career spans several high-end hotels across the GCC, including memorable chapters in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Riyadh impressed her with its ambition and transformation under Vision 2030, but she missed the sea — a source of serenity and creativity for someone who grew up near the Black Sea.

When the opportunity at Waldorf Astoria Kuwait appeared, she was immediately drawn to the brand’s heritage and prestige. Researching further, she realized how exceptional the property would be. “I came to Kuwait not knowing much,” she says. “None of my friends had visited before. But being by the sea again felt right. Now, I can say I love both Waldorf Astoria and Kuwait.”

Beyond Social Media: The Depth of Hospitality Marketing

One misconception Daria wishes she could correct is the assumption that marketing equals social media and PR. “It is much broader and more strategic,” she explains. With a strong digital background, she sees how many hotels still underestimate e-commerce, SEO, and datadriven strategy. “These areas are essential today — not only for visibility, but for driving real business results.”

Her foundation is as unique as her journey: an undergraduate degree in computer engineering followed by an MBA. She originally wanted to study journalism, but a missed exam led her down a different path. Two years into engineering, she realized it wasn’t for her — and that’s when hospitality found her. Her first role, as a hostess at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, unexpectedly opened the door to creative assignments that sparked her interest in marketing.

From there, she pursued her passion intentionally. She moved between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, earned digital marketing certifications from Meta Blueprint and Google during the pandemic, and taught herself e-commerce and website building. A role in an educational startup followed — and her marketing career accelerated across several sectors of hospitality.

Leading With Structure and Humanity

Now, as a marketing director, Daria leads with a philosophy shaped by experience. People see her as strong, structured, and deadline-driven. Early in her career, she often managed teams older than herself, an experience that taught her to adapt her leadership style to each individual.

“Leadership begins with observation,” she says. “You need to understand your team’s strengths and potential before guiding their development.”

Though she isn’t the most talkative person, her team knows she stands firmly behind them.

“They know I will always protect and support them, no matter the situation.”

She firmly believes leadership is learned.

“Every culture, every challenge shapes you,” she says. Reading biographies and business books keeps her inspired and reminds her that leadership is a lifelong journey. “You evolve with time, experience, and reflection.”

Her message to her younger self? Learn with intention. “Every skill, every challenge becomes useful later, often in unexpected ways,” she says.

She would also whisper a reminder: be patient. Success takes time, and every step builds the foundation for what comes next.

Looking Ahead

Over the next five years, Daria hopes to take on a regional or corporate brand leadership role. Her ambition is to shape the strategic direction of luxury hospitality brands on a broader scale — driving innovation, ensuring consistency, and elevating brand perception. She is particularly passionate about integrating digital transformation, data-driven insights, and authentic storytelling into the luxury hospitality landscape.

At the same time, mentoring rising marketing

professionals is close to her heart. “I want to share the mindset, discipline, and creativity required to lead luxury brands with purpose.”

A Life Full of Balance and Inspiration

Outside of work, Daria finds joy in activities that help her reset and recharge. She plays the piano, reads, roller skates, and enjoys long walks by the sea. Solo travel gives her new energy and creative perspective. “It keeps me inspired,” she says simply — a reminder that creativity often thrives in stillness and self-reflection.

THE 5-BASKET METHOD

A tidy system for families that actually sticks.

Homes rarely become messy because someone is lazy. They become messy because there isn’t a clear place for the constant inflow of objects: papers, clothes, daily gear, and all the small items we set down “just for now.” The 5-Basket Method solves this by giving every type of item a fast, obvious home and creating a simple routine that works for both busy families and individuals. The system is flexible, works in any size home, and helps prevent clutter before it starts.

The Five Baskets

The method relies on five clearly defined baskets:

1. Incoming: mail, school papers, receipts, returns. 2. Tools: chargers, tape, scissors, batteries, light bulbs.

3. Daily Gear: keys, wallets, sunglasses, masks, access cards.

4. Laundry-in-Waiting: socks, dish towels, sports kits, anything “I’ll wash later.”

5. Outbound: library books, donations, returns to friends or stores.

Choose medium-sized baskets with handles and a single consistent color to reduce visual clutter. Use durable plastic for wet or high-traffic zones, and woven or fabric baskets in main living areas. If space is limited, choose stackable ones.

Labeling That Works in Real Life

Labels turn baskets from “storage” into a system. Use clear, bold wording—INCOMING, TOOLS, GEAR, LAUNDRY, OUTBOUND. For children, add simple icons to help them identify what goes where. Stick-on label holders are the most practical because they can be changed as your needs evolve. Place labels on the front and also on the top lip so they’re easily visible when you walk by.

Where the Baskets Should Live Placement is key:

Incoming: near your main door, on a console or wall shelf.

Tools: wherever you commonly search for tape or chargers—often the kitchen or living room cabinet. Daily Gear: at your most used entryway, ideally next to a key hook or small tray.

Laundry-in-Waiting: in a bathroom or hallway near bedrooms, with a small mesh bag clipped inside for stray socks.

Outbound: beside the door or in the car trunk so items actually leave the house instead of circulating endlessly.

Simple Micro-Rules to Keep It Running

These mini rules keep the system effortless: One move only: If it’s in your hand and belongs in a basket, drop it in immediately. No thinking, no detours.

No mixing: When a basket fills, you empty and process it—never overflow into another.

Kid-friendly jobs: Even young children can place

library books in OUTBOUND or socks in LAUNDRY. Turning it into a quick race makes it fun.

The Weekly Reset Routine (20–30 Minutes)

Pick a consistent time each week—Friday night or Sunday afternoon—and give each family member a basket to start with. Add music to make it easier.

1. Incoming (6–8 min): open mail, sign papers, scan receipts, recycle envelopes. Tasks needing follow-up go onto an Action board or your to-do list.

2. Tools (3–4 min): rewind cables, test batteries, toss dead pens, refill tape. Keep only one of each small item here.

3. Daily Gear (3–4 min): return sunglasses to their spots, wipe trays, clear old coupons, confirm everyone’s essentials are ready.

4 Laundry-in-Waiting (5–6 min): transfer items to the washing machine or sort by color. Empty the sock bag into a bowl and match pairs.

5. Outbound (4–6 min): donations go into a trunk bag, returns with receipts into a clear pouch, and reminders are added to your calendar.

Maintenance Through the Week 60-second nightly sweep: toss scattered items into their baskets.

Leaving rule: check OUTBOUND before heading out. Arriving rule: GEAR first (keys, sunglasses), then shoes off, then anything in hand into INCOMING. Repeat the same order every time to build habit memory.

Troubleshooting

If Incoming overflows, insert dividers: To File / To Pay / To Recycle. If Tools becomes chaotic, shrink its category. For kids’ artwork, display two pieces per week, then photograph and recycle or store.

Try It Today

Pick five matching baskets, label them, and place them in the recommended spots. Run your first 30-minute reset tonight. Within a week, you’ll notice clearer surfaces, smoother mornings, and a home that stays tidy with small, consistent habits rather than big cleanups.

TREND BY CZAR: A NEW OLFACTORY CHAPTER LAUNCHES IN DOHA

A Bold Collaboration with Rising French Perfumer

Antoine Cotton

In the heart of Doha in November 2025, CZAR Fragrances unveiled its newest creation, “Trend,” during the prestigious Teeb AlHazem Perfume Expo in Doha, Qatar. This launch marked a defining moment for both the brand and the perfumer behind the scent, as the fragrance was crafted by the young French talent Antoine Cotton of Argeville. “Trend” enters CZAR’s celebrated Designer Collection, and is now available online, across all CZAR boutiques, and at the official CZAR Fragrances flagship store, making it accessible to fragrance enthusiasts throughout the region.

“Trend” was introduced to an excited audience as Cotton visited Qatar for the first time, hosted by the full CZAR team including the CEO, Vice-CEO, CTO and Business Development Manager, and Art Director. From the very first day of the expo, the fragrance became one of the standout highlights, captivating visitors with its modern structure, elegant balance, and expressive olfactive identity.

For Cotton, the launch trip was not just a professional appearance, it was a cultural and sensory immersion. He explored key destinations such as Msheireb – The Heart of Doha, Souq Waqif, and other iconic landmarks, gaining firsthand insight into the fragrance preferences of the region. This journey enriched his understanding of Middle Eastern olfactory signatures and strengthened his creative foundation for future compositions.

Notably, this collaboration marks the first official partnership of Antoine Cotton’s career, making “Trend” a milestone moment for both the perfumer and CZAR Fragrances. For CZAR, championing a rising talent reflects the brand’s dedication to innovation, artistic growth, and its expanding presence in the Middle Eastern luxury fragrance domain.

Meet the Perfumer: Antoine Cotton

Born in the historic perfume capital of Grasse, Antoine Cotton grew up surrounded by the heritage and craftsmanship of French perfumery. His passion for scent led him to pursue formal training at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris, where he developed both technical mastery and artistic sensitivity. With extensive hands-on training and deep curiosity for raw materials, he later joined Argeville, where he quickly emerged as a modern creative voice in contemporary perfumery.

Today, Cotton represents a new wave of perfumers, grounded in traditional expertise yet driven by modern innovation. His collaboration with CZAR on “Trend” perfectly embodies that balance.

The Creative Journey Behind “Trend” Exclusive Insights from Perfumer Antoine Cotton

What was your first impression when you received the brief for “Trend”?

“First and foremost, I’m truly delighted to express my signature through the Designer Collection, through a bold, contemporary, and universal signature.”

How would you describe the creative journey of developing this fragrance?

“The creative journey of developing ‘Trend’ was to work on a concise, high-impact formula where every ingredient reveals its unique character with great authenticity. Not like a passing fad, but something trendy with strong impact and a universal spirit.”

What inspired the olfactive structure of “Trend”?

“Conceived as an olfactory aura, this creation pays tribute to the noble iris. The composition opens with mandarin, lemon, rhubarb, elemi, and aldehydes. Its heart blends apple, pear, pineapple, and aromatics like rosemary, thyme, and mint. The base weaves patchouli, cedarwood, incense, vanilla, and tonka bean, warm, modern, and deeply sensual.”

What sets “Trend” apart in the designer-collection category?

“‘Trend’ completes the collection with a fresh, bold vibe, modern, authentic, and perfectly aligned with today’s lifestyle.”

Which notes resonate with you personally?

“Citrus, aromatic herbs, and orange blossom, ingredients tied to my Southern French heritage. Iris and incense also bring a depth I love working with.”

How do you balance creativity with commercial appeal?

“It’s the balance between artistry and market understanding, evoking emotions while staying connected to what people gravitate toward. Innovation must stand out, yet feel familiar.”

What emotions do you hope wearers feel?

“A sense of surprise, a distinctive aura with a trendy sillage that leaves a warm, memorable trail on skin or clothes.”

What was the biggest challenge in creating this scent?

“Blending a familiar structure with novelty, achieved through the contrast of warm, sensual amber and cool aromatic freshness.”

Special Thanks

The success of “Trend” is not only the result of artistic vision, but also the dedication of the people behind the scenes. CZAR Fragrances extends a heartfelt thank you to Argeville and the entire team who worked tirelessly over the past months to bring this project to life. Their collaboration, precision, and passion played an essential role in every stage of creation, even though much of their work remains unseen by the public. This partnership reflects a spirit of true craftsmanship, trust, and shared commitment to excellence.

A Milestone for Both Creator and Brand

The launch of “Trend” in November 2025 stands as a significant moment for CZAR Fragrances, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to creative innovation and global collaboration. For Antoine Cotton, the warm reception in Qatar, both for himself and for the fragrance, marks the beginning of a promising ascent in the world of modern perfumery. As “Trend” reaches fragrance lovers online, in-store, and across CZAR’s boutiques, it carries with it a story of cultural connection, artistic exploration, and the bright future of a rising star whose journey is only just beginning.

A TASTE OF THE HOLIDAYS

Inside Al Bustan’s Festive Weekend Brunch with Chef David Harnois

There’s something magical about the holiday season, and this year, Al Bustan at Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait is turning that magic into an indulgent feast. From December 5 to December 31, every Friday and Saturday, guests are invited to step into a winter wonderland for a festive brunch filled with color, flavor, and nostalgic cheer.

Think dazzling décor, live cooking stations, smoky grills, and the season’s most comforting favorites, all wrapped in a family-friendly atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned. At the heart of it all is Chef David Harnois, whose menu was crafted with a clear intention: joy.

“We wanted to make sure everyone finds something they love,” Chef David says. “The idea was to cover favorite dishes from different nationalities, from a hearty breakfast spread to tempting lunch specialties, most of them sizzling at our live stations.”

And sizzle they do. The brunch brings together everything guests adore about Al Bustan: international dishes, a lively ambience, and the signature Radisson Blu attention to detail. Freshly grilled specialties, wood-fired pizzas, sushi, seafood, breakfast classics, carving stations, every corner of the restaurant is alive with movement and aroma.

But this year, one festive feature stands out.

The Gingerbread House: A Sweet Holiday Memory

Walk into Al Bustan this month, and you’ll be greeted by a charming Gingerbread House theme that instantly sets the tone for the season. For Chef David, this wasn’t just a decorative choice, it was personal.

“It actually comes from childhood memories,” he explains. “Making the dough as a family, baking the pieces, having a big lunch, and then spending the afternoon building and decorating the house together. We wanted to bring that cozy, nostalgic feeling to our guests.”

Priced at an additional 10 KD, the Gingerbread House experience invites kids, and adults, to decorate their own edible masterpiece. It’s messy, sweet, and absolutely heartwarming.

“It’s all about family fun,” Chef David adds. “Building and decorating a gingerbread house is such a sweet way to make memories, and sneak a few bites of candy along the way!”

A Feast for Every Taste

The festive brunch is a culinary celebration designed to be as interactive as it is delicious. Whether you’re a grill lover, a seafood enthusiast, or someone who goes straight for dessert, there’s a station ready for you.

“The turkey carving, hands down!” Chef David laughs when asked about the star dish. “It’s the heart of the feast, complete with all the trimmings and festive flavors.”

He predicts clear favorites: “The grill and the turkey for the grown-ups, for sure. But I have a feeling the pasta and ice cream stations will steal the show with the kids, and a few adults too!”

And while the buffet is filled with festive indulgence, Chef David’s personal favorite is refreshingly simple. “A perfectly cooked whole seabass with some vegetables and a little mashed potato,” he says. “Sometimes the simplest dishes are the most satisfying.”

A Brunch Designed to Bring People Together

With its holiday soundtrack, warm lighting, and the unmistakable smell of freshly baked gingerbread in the air, Al Bustan’s Festive Weekend Brunch feels like the season’s happiest gathering point. It’s perfect for families looking to make memories, friends celebrating together, or colleagues ending the year on a delicious note.

From the seafood bar to the carving station, from freshly made pasta to charcoal-grilled favorites, from waffles and pastries to the mesmerizing Gingerbread House corner, every detail speaks to Chef David’s mission of creating a brunch where everyone feels included.

“We wanted to elevate the holiday spirit in a way that feels warm, joyful, and welcoming to all,” he says.

Marina Hotel Kashta

He worked with a Key Account Manager and an interior designer, and together, they explored his needs and vision. The final design exceeded his expectations. “The precision and attention to detail were incredible. They did exactly what they said they would, and they genuinely cared about what I wanted and didn’t want,” said Mshari Al Qabandi

In another residential project, IKEA for Business created a calm, modern living space tailored for newlyweds or individuals seeking a peaceful home environment in a 62 m² one-bedroom apartment. The team designed the apartment using soothing neutrals with soft touches of green and beige, striking a balance between warmth, functionality, and timeless elegance. THE CAYENNE GOES ELECTRIC A technological milestone for Porsche

The Cayenne Electric marks the beginning of a new era for Porsche. As a fully electric SUV, it combines Porsche DNA with pioneering technology: up to 850 kW (1,156 PS), 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and up to 400 kW charging power4 and up to 642 kilometers of range. It is the most powerful production Porsche of all time – and at the same time more versatile than ever: dynamic on the road, confident off-road and comfortable on long journeys.

The Cayenne was the first model that saw Porsche transfer the legend of the sports car brand to a completely new market segment. The sporting all-rounder became a worldwide success straight from its world premiere in September 2002. Now, a new era is beginning with the all-electric Cayenne.

“The Cayenne Electric shows performance in a completely new dimension, with innovative technologies that we have developed in motorsport. It sets new standards in the SUV segment – in terms of driving characteristics as well as charging,” said Oliver Blume,Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG.

“Outstanding electric performance meets very real

everyday usability. Excellent long-distance comfort combines with uncompromising off-road capability.”

With about 36 per cent of its sports cars sold globally being electrified, Porsche is one of the fastest transforming car manufacturers in 2025.

The Cayenne Electric is the next milestone in this success story and complements the existing offering of combustion-engined and plug-in hybrid Cayenne models in the spirit of a completely flexible choice of Porsche powertrains.

The performance of a super sports car and Formula E levels of recuperation

The all-electric Cayenne family launches with two

models: the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric, both featuring all-wheel drive with Porsche Traction Management (ePTM).

The Cayenne Turbo accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reaches 260 km/h, powered by a newly developed drive system delivering up to 850 kW (1,156 PS) and 1,500 Nm with Launch Control. Direct oil cooling on the rear electric motor ensures consistent performance. In normal mode, it produces up to 630 kW (857 PS), with a 130 kW boost available through Push-to-Pass. The Cayenne Electric produces 300 kW (408 PS), rising to 325 kW (442 PS) and 835 Nm with Launch Control, and reaches 0–100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.

The Cayenne Electric achieves up to 600 kW of recuperative power, matching Formula E standards. Around 97 percent of daily braking is handled by the electric motors alone, with optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) available for the Turbo.

Versatility comes from its advanced chassis. Adaptive air suspension with PASM is standard, while the Turbo adds PTV Plus. Both models offer optional rear-axle steering. Porsche Active Ride, available for the flagship model, minimizes body movement for exceptional stability and comfort.

Innovative charging convenience: fast, robust and wireless

A new 113 kWh battery with double-sided cooling delivers up to 642 km of WLTP range for the Cayenne Electric and up to 623 km for the Turbo. With 800-volt technology, charging reaches up to 390 kW (and under specific conditions, 400 kW).

The State of Charge rises from 10 to 80 percent in under 16 minutes, and around 320 km of range can be added in just 10 minutes. Robust charging performance was a key development priority.

New

exterior design: progressive, aerodynamic and unmistakably

Cayenne

The Cayenne Electric blends Porsche’s classic proportions with a modernized design language.

“The new Cayenne is unmistakably Porsche and unmistakably Cayenne,” said Michael Mauer, Head of Style Porsche.

Key features include a low hood, slim Matrix LED headlights, and strongly contoured fenders. The signature flyline remains, preserving the Cayenne’s iconic profile.

The side view introduces frameless doors, a bold character crease, and two-tone side skirts. The rear features a 3D-effect light strip, illuminated Porsche lettering, and Turbo-exclusive Turbonite accents. An Off-Road package with revised front geometry supports challenging terrain.

With a drag coefficient of 0.25, the Cayenne Electric is one of the most aerodynamic SUVs in its class. Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) adjusts elements such as cooling flaps, the adaptive roof spoiler, and the Turbo’s active aero-blades to optimize range and downforce.

A new level of utility, comfort and individuality

The model is 55 mm longer, with a wheelbase extended by nearly 13 cm for greater rear legroom.

The electrically adjustable rear seat and 781–1,588 liters of cargo space, plus a 90-liter front trunk, enhance practicality. Towing capacity reaches up to 3.5 tons, depending on equipment.

New Mood Modes adjust seating, lighting, climate, sound, and displays. The Panoramic Roof with Variable Light Control uses switchable crystal foil, while new panel heating warms seats and interior surfaces. Extended ambient lighting adds an animated communication light for vehicle states.

Personalization is extensive: 13 exterior colors, nine wheel designs, 12 interior combinations, multiple interior and accent packages, plus Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, Paint to Sample, and Sonderwunsch options for fully bespoke builds. The Porsche Design custom timepiece program now includes watches tailored to the Cayenne.

Porsche Driver Experience – largest display area in a Porsche

The new Porsche Driver Experience introduces the Flow Display, a curved OLED panel integrated into the center console. It pairs with a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster and an optional 14.9inch passenger display, forming the largest display area ever in a Porsche. An AR head-up display creates an 87-inch virtual projection ahead of the vehicle.

Frequently used functions remain accessible via analog controls, supported by the new Ferry Pad hand rest for ergonomic operation. Porsche Digital Interaction adds customizable widgets and a Themes app that syncs color schemes across all displays.

New standards through electrification – trio of powertrains beyond 2030

The new Cayenne Electric now complements the existing selection of drive types, which will continue to be offered in parallel worldwide.

“Inspiring customers is our top priority at Porsche. With the electrification of the Cay-enne, we are reaching a new level of performance that sets standards for the future. At the same time, we will continue to develop the Cayenne with efficient combustion and hybrid drive systems well into the next decade. This strategy also applies to Porsche’s entire model portfolio: in every segment in which we are represented, customers will in future have the choice between fully electric and combustion-engined powertrains,” said Matthias Becker, Member of the Board of Management, Sales and Marketing.

ELEVATING EVERYDAY LUXURY

Noura Sakkijha on Bringing Mejuri to Kuwait

For Noura Sakkijha, jewelry is more than a product—it’s a personal legacy. As a third-generation jeweler raised in a family deeply rooted in the craft, the CEO and co-founder of Mejuri says jewelry is simply “in her DNA.” But her journey wasn’t linear. Before launching one of the world’s most influential fine jewelry brands, she studied engineering, worked in consulting, and took what she calls “a complete detour.”

It was only after moving to Canada that she felt pulled back to the industry—though not in the traditional way she grew up with. “There were next-generation brands emerging everywhere— skincare, fashion—but nothing new in jewelry,” she recalls. “Even when you had disposable income, you didn’t know who to buy jewelry from.”

The market felt divided: costume jewelry on one end, high jewelry on the other, with marketing aimed largely at men gifting women.

That gap became the spark for Mejuri. “There was space for a brand that celebrated self-purchase, for women to celebrate their own milestones—not just Valentine’s or Eid, but a promotion, a move, anything meaningful to them.” From that insight, Mejuri was born: a brand centered on empowerment, modern design, and fine jewelry meant to be worn every day.

For Noura, the idea that fine jewelry should be kept in a vault never made sense. “We wanted to elevate the everyday,” she says. “Fine jewelry shouldn’t be intimidating or inaccessible. It should be designed for daily life—modern, unfussy, stackable, and high quality.”

Mejuri works exclusively with top global manufacturers and refuses shortcuts in production. But by selling directly to consumers and staying out of wholesale, the brand keeps its margins lean and its price point more accessible. “You can wear it every day, put it on, and that’s it—it becomes part of you.”

While Noura stepped away from the traditional family business model, she preserved one important aspect: craftsmanship. “Manufacturing techniques that are proven and traditional—we respect those completely,” she explains. “What we changed was everything around it: the positioning, the community, the brand experience.”

Mejuri’s tone of voice is intentionally warm, conversational, and informative. “I always say Mejuri is the customer’s friend who knows more about jewelry,” she says. That philosophy extends to the stores, where customers can freely touch, style, and explore pieces—“like stepping into your friend’s closet,” she says. The physical distance between the product and the customer is intentionally minimized.

When it comes to design, Noura describes Mejuri’s process as “magic and logic.” The team builds seasonal mood boards inspired

by architecture, women they observe, cultural trends, and everyday life. The “logic” comes from analyzing what customers already love, doubling down on proven bestsellers while introducing fresh concepts.

This approach supports Mejuri’s signature “newness”—the brand releases drops throughout each season rather than traditional long-cycle collections. “We’re known for freshness,” Noura says proudly.

Mejuri stays aware of trends without sacrificing longevity. “We don’t create something you wear for one season and throw away,” she says. “But we also don’t ignore cultural trends. The question is: how do we interpret them in a Mejuri way?”

If oversized earrings are in, for example, Mejuri will take the trend but deliver it with timeless restraint. “You should be able to wear it again next year—trendy, but never disposable.”

Quality is non-negotiable for Noura. Mejuri works only with top-tier manufacturers—many of whom also produce for world-leading luxury brands. Internally, the brand has rigorous quality control processes. “We joke that our products get

tortured before launch,” Noura laughs. Hoops are opened and closed hundreds of times to ensure durability.

Sustainability has been a priority since day one. When the company was small, they partnered with third-party manufacturers certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council. Now, Mejuri has brought expertise in-house and transitioned most production to certified recycled gold and silver. Diamond traceability has also improved, including the introduction of lab-grown diamonds with fully tracked supply chains.

One of Noura’s proudest initiatives is Salmon Gold, created through a partnership with Regeneration. The company re-mines abandoned sites, restoring destroyed habitats. In one case, salmon returned to the area after the land was rehabilitated. “We were the first and only jewelry brand to use Salmon Gold,” she says. “That makes me incredibly proud.”

Despite global success, Noura’s proudest moments remain deeply personal. “When a woman tells me why she bought her jewelry—‘I

moved to Canada,’ ‘I got my first job’—that’s when I feel our mission is coming full circle,” she says. “Women celebrating their own milestones—that’s the impact we wanted to make.”

This year marks Mejuri’s tenth anniversary— perfect timing, Noura says, to come home. “We started receiving a lot of inbound interest. Even without marketing to the region, we saw strong sales from the GCC.” As a Middle Eastern woman, she didn’t hesitate. “This is a dream come true— to return to our roots and celebrate jewelry in a new way. Launching here during our ten-year milestone feels like divine timing.”

For Noura, the fit is natural. “Our region values beauty, craftsmanship, and jewelry. It’s in our culture. Mejuri brings a fresh, modern way to experience something we already love.”

Mejuri’s message has always been clear: buy your own jewelry. “You don’t need to wait to be gifted,” Noura says. “Celebrate your own milestones. Take charge of your journey.” For her, empowerment is not used as a marketing buzzword—it is the heart of the brand.

Mejuri began as an online-only brand, but its community quickly changed that. “Our customers literally came to our office during holidays because they wanted to touch the product,” Noura says, laughing. The first store was meant to be a simple activation space—but 60–70% of shoppers turned out to be new customers who preferred to see the pieces in person.

That insight transformed Mejuri’s strategy into the omnichannel model it uses today. Online offers convenience; in-store offers styling, sizing, and tactile experience. Hence the famous ring bars.

“The region values beauty and craftsmanship— it’s always been part of our culture,” Noura says. “But the next generation has a new lens. They approach jewelry through self-expression, not just tradition. That’s exactly where Mejuri fits.”

The brand will launch globally consistent collections while learning local nuances over time—what pieces resonate, what variations customers prefer, and how regional style develops. “We’ll evolve as we grow here,” she adds.

Among the brand’s most exciting offerings is the Mejuri Piercing Studio, now a major part of the global experience. “It’s not the typical ‘first piercing as a child’—it’s piercing for styling,” Noura explains. “Self-expression is a big part of the brand.”

Unlike traditional piercing done with basic starter pieces, Mejuri designs beautiful flat-back options that are comfortable and long-lasting. The studios are designed to feel clean, calming, and almost spa-like—a contrast to tattoo-parlor piercing experiences typical in North America.

“You sit, pick your stack, and create your look,” she says. “It’s part of the fun.”

DESIGNING FOR HUMANS

Toyota Commits to Human-Centric Mobility Future Unveils ‘Century’ a New Ultra-Luxury Brand At Japan Mobility Show 2025

The Toyota Group concluded its compelling participation at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 (JMS), revealing a comprehensive strategy that solidifies its commitment to a multi-pathway approach to carbon neutrality while demonstrating a radical expansion of its brand architecture and a renewed focus on “Mobility for All.” Japan Mobility Show – “MobiShow” is a brand-new festival of mobility, launched in 2023 as the next chapter of Tokyo Motor Show. From the latest cars and bikes to future forms of mobility, visitors get to see, sense and experience every kind of mobility – vehicles and far beyond.

New Brand – Century

“The Century stands at the pinnacle, a car in a class of its own. I believe this car was born carrying Japan on its shoulders,” said Akio Toyoda, Chairman of the Board of Directors. Toyota’s showcased the newly launched ultra-luxury marque, Century. The collective vision presented a future where the company’s manufacturing philosophy, or monozukuri, is deeply focused on the individual user, echoing the central brand theme: “To You.” Officially launched as an ultraluxury, standalone brand, Century Models include a high-end SUV, a flagship sedan, and the highly anticipated Century Coupe Concept.

The Futuristic Vision: A Human-Centric Ecosystem

Toyota Motor Corporation President and CEO, Koji Sato, emphasized the vision: “Our future is not a single road, but many pathways guided by the needs of people. Our guiding principle is ‘To You’—crafting ever-better mobility solutions by always picturing the face of a single person and designing for their unique smile.”

This vision goes beyond conventional passenger vehicles, encompassing solutions like the ‘Kids mobi’ (AI-powered personal mobility for children’s development) and ‘boost me’ (hands-free sports mobility to enable people with varied abilities to

compete together). Toyota’s comprehensive booth successfully demonstrated the integration of personal, luxury, commercial, and adaptive mobility into a seamless, human-centered ecosystem.

The Future of Mobility: Toyota Concepts and the ‘To You’ Philosophy

Beyond the strategic restructuring of the Century and Lexus brands, Toyota used the Japan Mobility Show to offer a vivid look into its “Mobility for All” vision, underpinned by the new “To You” brand message. This philosophy shifts the focus from a single mass-market solution to creating personalized mobility for an infinite number of

specific “yous,” wherever they are in the world. This approach was materialized through a diverse range of concepts, from dynamic sports cars to fundamental infrastructure vehicles.

Reimagining the Everyday and the Essential The KAYOIBAKO Concept exemplifies Toyota’s focus on the essential role of mobility as social infrastructure. The name, derived from Japanese reusable shipping containers, reflects its highly modular, utilitarian design. This BEV concept acts as a versatile “basic unit of free use space,” capable of transforming instantly for work, leisure, or essential services. Toyota envisions it as the backbone for next-generation logistics, last-mile delivery, and even as a highly customizable mobile office or tiny camper, emphasizing how mobility can come to the customer.

In contrast to the high-tech urban vision, the IMV Origin was developed with communities in rural Africa in mind. This vehicle arrives at the destination unfinished, incorporating “deliberate incompleteness.” This unique approach creates new local assembly jobs and allows customers to define the vehicle after purchase—from a cargo carrier to a passenger bus—ensuring the product truly fits the local economy and lifestyle, affirming Toyota’s commitment to continuous local contribution.

The Electric Performance and Digital Future

For enthusiasts, the FT-Se and FT-3e concepts showcased Toyota’s electric-first, performanceoriented future. The FT-Se is a sleek, GR-badged electric sports car that embodies the joy of driving in a carbon-neutral era, with a low, wide stance and a cockpit designed with knee-pads to brace the driver against G-forces. It shares major components with the FT-3e, an angular crossover that connects to society by transferring energy and data. The FT-3e features innovative exterior digital displays that show information like battery charge and cabin air quality as the driver approaches, signaling a deeply integrated digital-physical experience.

These concepts, together with the bold new Corolla Concept—which embraces a full range of powertrains (BEV, PHEV, HEV, ICE) in a dramatically futuristic, coupe-like design—collectively demonstrate Toyota’s commitment to a “multipathway” approach to carbon neutrality. This strategy acknowledges global diversity in energy resources and infrastructure, ensuring that Toyota offers an appropriate, ever-better car for every customer, regardless of their location or energy reality.

Toyota’s comprehensive booth successfully demonstrated the integration of personal, luxury, commercial, and adaptive mobility into a seamless, human-centered ecosystem. The new brand architecture is a bold declaration of Toyota’s enduring strength that includes: Manufacturing Diversity: The introduction of the Century brand at the ultra-luxury pinnacle

demonstrates an unparalleled ability to compete across the entire mobility spectrum—from essential utility to bespoke exclusivity.

Engineering Depth: The multi-pathway strategy, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery-electric concepts like the new Corolla, reaffirms Toyota’s engineering-first approach, ensuring a viable path to carbon neutrality for every customer in every region.

Global Responsibility: Concepts like the ‘IMV Origin’ reinforce the brand’s long-standing

commitment to be a responsible and impactful corporate citizen, creating value and opportunity in the communities it serves globally.

The Toyota Group’s presence at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 firmly establishes its role not just as an automaker, but as the world’s most versatile and human-centered mobility provider, confidently driving the future one innovation at a time.

CONNECTING LIVES THROUGH DISTANCE

Al Ansari Exchange keeps you connected to the UK and Canada this holiday season

There is a quiet ritual that plays out across Kuwait every month. A parent sits at the dining table, scrolling through photos from a university dorm room in London. A professor wraps up a long day at a local school, then checks his savings back home in Toronto. A business owner reviews invoices from a partner in Manchester or Montreal. Each of them opens the same app, taps a few buttons, and sends more than just money. They are sending reassurance, opportunity, and a sense of being there, even when life has taken their loved ones far away.

For many affluent individuals and families in Kuwait, the UK and Canada are not just travel destinations. They are where children study, careers are built, homes are owned, memories are anchored, and futures are being planned. Every transfer tells a story.

Imagine Amal, whose daughter is studying medicine in the UK. The tuition is high, the cost of living even higher, but the dream is priceless. When she sends money for rent, books, or a surprise weekend trip, she is not just managing expenses. She reminds her daughter that home is supporting her, every step of the way. With instant transfers to the UK via the Al Ansari Exchange Mobile App, that support feels immediate. Funds arrive quickly and securely, so Amal can focus on the emotional side of the journey, not the logistics.

Then there is James, a Canadian teaching in Kuwait. His life is here, but his long-term plans are there: a cabin near the lake, investments in a growing portfolio, maybe even a new property in Vancouver. Every month, he sends part of his salary back to Canada for savings and investment. The competitive rates and transparent fees that Al Ansari Exchange offers are not just details of the transaction, they are part of James’ strategy. With Al Ansari Exchange, he can transfer funds with clarity and control, knowing exactly what he is sending and what will be received.

Not all transfers are planned months in advance. Sometimes, they are driven by love, urgency, or both. A cousin in London who needs help with a medical procedure. An uncle in Toronto faces an unexpected expense. A sibling buys their first home abroad and needs that final push to close the deal. In those moments, time matters. The ability to send money instantly to the UK and Canada through Al Ansari Exchange’s easy-to-use mobile app turns worry into action. Instead of searching for a branch or waiting for business hours, customers can act immediately, 24/7, from wherever they are.

Business owners and professionals in Kuwait know this feeling well. A consultant paying international partners in the UK for a joint project. An entrepreneur investing in a startup in Canada. Nothing gets to the UK faster

funds through Al Ansari Exchange app.

A landlord covering maintenance costs on a London flat or a Toronto condo. These are not just personal transfers, but strategic moves in a global life. For them, reliability is non-negotiable. Al Ansari Exchange’s decades of credibility offer the confidence that every transaction is handled with the same level of care they bring to their own work.

And then there are the joyful transfers. The birthday gift that arrives in a nephew’s account in Manchester. The Eid or Christmas surprise sent to a sibling in Ottawa. The contribution to a graduation celebration in Edinburgh or a new baby in Calgary. These moments are about connection, not obligation. When the process is seamless, the emotion shines through. With a few taps on the Al Ansari Exchange App, a simple gesture

becomes a shared celebration, no matter the distance.

What ties all these stories together is a simple truth: when you send money, you are sending a part of yourself. That is why the way you send it matters.

Al Ansari Exchange brings together the things that matter most:

· Instant transfers to the UK and Canada through a secure, intuitive mobile app

· Competitive rates and transparent fees that respect the value of your hard-earned money

· Trusted service built over decades, giving you peace of mind with every transaction

· 24/7 convenience and a smooth digital experience that fits into your lifestyle

For Kuwait’s globally connected families and professionals, international transfers are no longer just financial tasks. They are part of a lifestyle that spans continents, careers, and generations.

Whether you are supporting a child’s education in London, building your future in Toronto, maintaining a home in the UK, or simply sending love for a special occasion, you deserve a service that understands both the emotional and practical sides of every transfer.

Visit alansariexchange.com.kw for more information. Download the Al Ansari Exchange App from the App Store or Google Play and experience a seamless, secure way to stay close to the people, plans, and places that matter most to you. Zero transfer fees for a limited time only.

Serene confidence in the seamless and safe transfer of funds to Canada. Take care of your family and loved ones with Al Ansari Exchange.

THE ULTRA FRESH ROUTINE

A simple everyday approach to feeling confident and comfortable

There are certain topics many women hesitate to talk about, yet they shape comfort, confidence, and how we move through the day. Freshness is one of them. Whether heading to work, stepping into a workout, or navigating Kuwait’s climate, staying comfortable from morning to night can feel like a challenge. Vagisil understands that intimate care is a normal part of daily life, and the Ultra Fresh range was created with exactly that in mind. It offers practical support for women who want to feel clean and confident in every moment.

The Ultra Fresh routine is built around three uncomplicated steps that blend easily into everyday life: wash, spray, powder. These steps keep things realistic, supporting women through long days, active schedules, and the unique conditions of the region. The newest addition, the Ultra Fresh Spray, has quickly become a quiet favourite—light, discreet, and instantly refreshing—often tucked into handbags, gym bags, and office drawers.

The routine starts with the Ultra Fresh Wash, a gentle cleanser suitable for daily use. It is designed for sensitive skin and helps maintain a balanced, fresh feeling without dryness or irritation. Many women appreciate how soft and clean it feels, especially in Kuwait where heat and humidity make gentle cleansing a priority. The subtle fragrance fades quickly, leaving only freshness without residue. It sets the tone for the rest of the routine.

After showering, the Ultra Fresh Powder offers a smooth, matte finish that supports long-lasting comfort. Its soft texture helps reduce moisture and friction, especially on warm days or during travel. Many women use it sparingly for a sense of dryness that lasts. When temperatures rise or when spending hours outdoors, the powder becomes an extra layer of comfort that complements the wash.

If you’re looking for an instant refresh or an easier and quicker way to get that fresh feeling, the Ultra Fresh Spray, is ultra light and quickdrying, offering a clean, refreshed feeling at any moment of the day. It helps neutralize unwanted odor and recreate that subtle just-showered feeling. For women on the move, its convenience is one of its biggest strengths. It can be used after the gym, between errands, or in the morning for added reassurance. The scent is soft, the formula discreet, and the finish fresh without being overly perfumed.

What makes the Ultra Fresh range appealing is how well it adapts to different lifestyles. For women with long workdays, it offers support from morning to evening. For those who exercise regularly, it provides a seamless transition from workout to workday. For travelers, the routine fits neatly into a toiletry bag. The products were created for real routines and real needs.

Vagisil’s approach to intimate care is refreshing in itself. The brand does not frame it as awkward or embarrassing. Instead, it treats intimate

freshness as a natural extension of self-care— just as normal as skincare or haircare. The Ultra Fresh range reflects this philosophy with products that are gentle, effective, and easy to incorporate into daily rituals.

Freshness is not about perfection. It is about feeling comfortable enough to focus on what matters throughout the day. Vagisil Ultra Fresh

supports that comfort through a simple threestep routine that fits any lifestyle: wash for a clean start, spray for instant freshness, and powder for long-lasting ease.

A routine created not to complicate life, but to make it a little easier.

FOR EVERY MOMENT OF CARE

SEPTONA Introduces the New Dermasoft Body Wash & Handwash Range

In today’s world, self-care has become more than a luxury, it has become an essential ritual woven into our daily lives. From the moment we wake up to the moment we wind down, the small choices we make shape how we feel, how we move through the day, and how we care for ourselves and the people we love. SEPTONA understands this better than most. With decades of experience creating gentle, nurturing products for babies, children, and families, the brand has become synonymous with one reassuring promise: care for every moment.

Now, SEPTONA carries that promise into a new chapter with the launch of its Dermasoft Body Wash and Dermasoft Handwash ranges, a beautifully crafted collection designed to transform everyday cleansing into a soothing, sensory pause. Whether you are beginning your day with a refreshing shower or washing your hands between tasks, the new Dermasoft line invites you to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. This is care, elevated.

This is SEPTONA, For Every Moment of Care.

A Legacy of Care, Now for Adults Too

Most of us in Kuwait already know SEPTONA through its beloved products for babies and kids, gentle formulas designed to protect delicate skin. These early associations created trust, warmth, and familiarity. Parents chose SEPTONA not just because it worked, but because it felt safe.

With the new Dermasoft range for adults, the brand builds on that legacy with refined formulations and fragrances tailored to grown-up routines, needs, and rituals. This is a natural evolution: care doesn’t stop when childhood ends. Our skin still needs comfort, nourishment, and products that feel good, smell good, and support wellbeing.

Dermasoft is SEPTONA’s answer, a line dedicated to softness, hydration, and a sensorial experience suitable for all skin types.

Septona Body Wash: A Daily Ritual of Comfort

The new Dermasoft body wash collection is designed to turn an ordinary shower into a wellness moment. Each formula is enriched with skin-loving ingredients that cleanse gently, leaving the skin fresh, hydrated, and beautifully scented.

The textures are silky, the foam is rich without being heavy, and the fragrances are carefully balanced, the kind you want to linger on your skin throughout the day. As with all SEPTONA products, dermatological testing ensures that the body wash remains gentle, non-irritating, and suitable for daily use.

Whether you prefer something soft and creamy or something uplifting and energizing, the Dermasoft range is crafted to fit seamlessly into your everyday self-care routine.

Septona Handwash: Fragrance Meets Function

Handwashing is no longer just a habit, for many of us, it’s a grounding ritual that happens dozens of times each day. And SEPTONA’s new Dermasoft handwash line is designed to elevate that ritual with gentle cleansing, nourishing ingredients, and sophisticated scents.

COSTA COFFEE CLUB ME APP

There are three beautifully formulated handwash options, each created to offer a different mood and sensory experience:

Almond & Tea Rose

A delicate, romantic blend that softens the skin while surrounding you with a warm, floral aroma. It’s feminine, comforting, and perfect for anyone who loves subtle elegance in their daily moments.

Cotton & Milk Protein

Clean, creamy, and soothing. The milk proteins help nourish the skin, making this handwash ideal for frequent washing or anyone who struggles with dry hands. It’s the scent of pure simplicity, fresh and familiar.

Organic Honey & Ginger

A vibrant yet comforting combination. The honey softens and hydrates while the ginger adds a hint of warmth and spice. This is the perfect kitchen or bathroom handwash, uplifting, natural, and aromatic.

Each formula is dermatologically tested, gentle enough for repeated daily use, and designed to leave your hands soft, clean, and delicately scented.

Septona Body Wash Scents That Uplift the Everyday

The Dermasoft body wash line also features two new aromatic blends, each carefully crafted to support both skin comfort and emotional wellbeing:

Cotton & Milk Protein

A gentle, hydrating body wash for everyday use. It’s ideal for sensitive or dry skin, delivering a soft, comforting cleanse inspired by the purity of cotton.

Exotic Coconut & Mango

A tropical, mood-boosting blend that brings sunshine into every shower. Mango adds a juicy, fruity energy, while coconut provides creamy sweetness. It’s a small holiday in a bottle, bright, fun, and full of personality.

Together, these two scents, soft and tropical, offer options for every mood and season.

A Thoughtful Collection for Every Home in Kuwait

SEPTONA’s expansion into the adult body care segment couldn’t be more timely. Between long workdays, fastpaced routines, and Kuwait’s heat, our skin and our senses crave moments of ease. The new Dermasoft collection fits effortlessly into this need for gentle luxury, products that feel accessible, trustworthy, and indulgent without ever being heavy or overwhelming. Because care doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to be consistent. For families who already rely on SEPTONA, the Dermasoft range feels like a natural continuation. For new users, it offers a welcoming introduction to a brand that has spent decades perfecting the art of soft, effective, everyday care.

THE SECRET TO FESTIVE HAIR IN MINUTES

Revlon’s award winning tools for effortless celebration ready styles

When it comes to hairstyling, few brands have earned the trust and loyalty of women quite like Revlon. For decades, Revlon has been at the heart of beauty routines around the world, creating tools that combine innovation, accessibility, and salon quality results. Their hair appliances are especially loved for one simple reason: they work. They deliver shine, volume, smoothness, and style without the stress, cost, or time commitment of a salon appointment. And during the festive season, when everyone wants hair that lasts through family gatherings, office events, and nights out, Revlon becomes the secret weapon in achieving effortless glamour in minutes.

This year, Revlon’s styling tools are making headlines once again, not only for their performance but also for the awards and global recognition they continue to receive. From viral blowout brushes to versatile multi styling systems, each tool has been thoughtfully engineered to help women look and feel their best at home. Whether you are creating a soft wave, a smooth blowout, or high volume curls, these Revlon favorites have become the go to choice for fast, long lasting, professional looking styles.

At the top of the list is the Revlon One Step Volumizer, the tool that changed the at home blowout forever. Known as the original blowout brush, it has been the key to affordable, salon worthy styling for the last ten years. It also carries one of the most trusted seals of approval in the beauty industry: the Allure Readers Choice Award. This recognition, decided by thousands of beauty lovers, confirms what users have known for years. It is quick, easy, and delivers results that rival professional blowouts.

The One Step Volumizer was designed for women who love the look of a blow dry but do not always have the time or skill to recreate it at home. By combining the power of a dryer with the structure of a round brush, it allows you to dry, smooth, and style all at once. The result is volume at the roots, sleekness at the ends, and a polished finish that can last through a full day of winter activities. For many, it has become the ultimate lifesaver for last minute plans or days when you want your hair to look put together with minimal effort.

Following the success of the original, Revlon introduced the One Step Volumizer PLUS, a refined version that quickly became a favorite in its own right. It earned a highly respected Allure Best of Beauty Award, an achievement that adds to its growing reputation. The PLUS version is known for delivering even more volume, greater control, and faster results. It is slightly more compact, making it ideal for women with shorter hair or for those who want extra precision around the hairline. The brush design helps close the cuticle for added shine, and the airflow technology supports quick drying with reduced heat damage.

What makes the One Step Volumizer PLUS stand out is how easily it creates salon quality blowouts. Whether you prefer a bouncy finish, a smooth straight look, or soft flipped ends, the brush adapts to your preferred style. It is a versatile tool that keeps hair looking fresh, polished, and full of body. During the festive season, when photograph ready hair becomes part of the celebration, this tool offers confidence without the need for a professional appointment. It is no surprise it was voted Best Dryer Brush by Allure editors and readers alike.

For those who want more styling freedom, Revlon has taken things a step further with the One Step Blow Dry Multi Air Styler 5 in 1. This multi tool has been listed as one of the best hair tools in the Pure Beauty Global Awards and is widely praised for offering salon finishes with less damage and more options. It is designed for women who love experimenting with different looks but do not want a drawer full of separate appliances.

The Multi Air Styler includes interchangeable attachments that allow you to smooth, volumize, curl, or refresh your hair depending on your needs. You can switch between tools to create everything from sleek blowouts to soft waves to glamorous curls. The advanced airflow system ensures even heat distribution while keeping the hair protected. For busy mornings or packed holiday calendars, the Multi Air Styler becomes a single, streamlined solution that can handle whatever style you have in mind.

What makes this multi tool especially appealing is its ability to create long lasting results without excessive heat. Revlon’s focus on hair health is reflected in the technology behind each attachment. You get the look of a high heat style with significantly less damage, allowing you to experiment more often without compromising the integrity of your hair.

Together, Revlon’s award winning styling tools form a powerful trio that supports every hair need during the festive season and beyond. The One Step Volumizer delivers classic blowouts with ease. The One Step Volumizer PLUS offers added control and precision. The One Step Multi Air Styler gives unlimited styling possibilities in one device. Whether your routine is quick and simple

or creative and experimental, Revlon has made styling at home faster, safer, and more enjoyable.

As we move into the months filled with celebrations, gatherings, and photo worthy moments, Revlon’s tools remind us that great hair does not require stress or complicated routines. With the right appliance, you can achieve beautiful, long lasting styles in minutes, giving you more time to enjoy the season and feel confident in every moment.

Revlon has always believed that beauty should feel accessible. With these award winning tools,

they continue to prove that professional results can be achieved at home, affordably, efficiently, and beautifully.
