One School, Four Divisions –Preschool to Upper School
At Bayview Glen, learning is a journey that evolves with each stage of a child’s development. Our four divisions (Preschool, Lower School, Prep School, and Upper School) are intentionally designed to support the growth of the whole child. Guided by our values of compassion, curiosity, and courage, each division builds on the one before it, preparing students not only for academic achievement but also for purposeful lives and meaningful contributions to a better world. Together, the divisions reflect our vision to be a leader in bold thinking and future readiness within a diverse community.
Preschool (Age 2 and 3)
At Bayview Glen, our Preschool programme is rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, where children are at the centre of their own learning. We see every child as competent, curious, and full of potential. In a warm, supportive environment, students explore, create, and express themselves while developing the foundations of physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Learning unfolds step by step, with play and inquiry guiding children toward confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of discovery.
Lower School (JK to Grade 5)
The Lower School is where curiosity takes flight. Through our inquiry-based approach, students explore big questions that spark reflection and investigation: How can I express myself? Why do we have rules? How do my actions affect the world around me? Our enriched curriculum blends academic challenge with care and individual attention, encouraging students to take risks, wonder deeply, and make connections across subjects. Beyond the classroom, students grow through buddy programmes, field trips (including overnight experiences starting in Grade 4), service learning, athletics, and a wide range of clubs such as theatre, robotics, music, and Mandarin. Every day, they build confidence, community, and a sense of belonging.

Prep School (Grades 6 to 8)
The Prep years are a time of rapid growth, and our programme is designed to support every student’s unique journey. We nurture confidence, selfawareness, and independence while recognizing that adolescents develop at different rates socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Our enriched, inquiry-based curriculum includes Reach-Ahead credits that challenge students to stretch their thinking and skills. Leadership opportunities through Student Council and our Global Education programme foster responsibility and global awareness, while athletics and the arts encourage creativity, teamwork, and perseverance. Sharing a campus with the Upper School gives Prep students inspiration for the future and prepares them to thrive as engaged, resilient young adults.
Upper School (Grades 9 to 12)
In the Upper School, students are empowered to push boundaries, think critically, and prepare for life beyond Bayview Glen. With a wide range of Advanced Placement courses, they experience the rigour of university-level learning in a supportive environment. Our inquiry-driven, interdisciplinary approach encourages them to see connections across disciplines, solve complex problems, and communicate with confidence. A broad co-curricular programme that includes athletics, arts, service learning, and leadership ensures students develop courage, creativity, and global awareness. Through Round Square, they take part in international conferences and service projects, becoming empathetic, culturally adept citizens. Bayview Glen graduates leave ready for top universities and ready to lead meaningful, impactful lives.
