University Counselling GUIDANCE THAT BEGINS BEFORE THE APPLICATION DOES. Choosing what comes next should not begin in Grade 12. At Bayview Glen, University Counselling is designed as a four-year relationship, giving students and families earlier access to information, conversation and personalized support. Beginning in Grade 9, students will have an early connection to University Counselling, giving them time to explore academic interests, understand post-secondary pathways and make increasingly informed decisions as their goals take shape. Beginning in spring 2027, Bayview Glen will have a team of four University Counsellors, led by our Director of University Counselling. The expanded model will allow counsellors to build meaningful relationships with students and families over the four Upper School years and provide current, personalized guidance at the points when it matters most.

Cooperative Education
REAL-WORLD LEARNING. MEANINGFUL EXPLORATION. Available to students in Grades 11 and 12, Bayview Glen's Cooperative Education programme takes learning beyond the traditional classroom and into the workplace. Through real-world placements, students apply their knowledge in authentic settings, develop workplace skills and confidence, and gain first-hand insight into fields they may be considering for future study or careers. Placements run in the afternoon and are paired with a spare period, giving students meaningful time on site. Students explore career paths, develop practical skills and make informed decisions about their future studies.

Healthy, Safe, Supported HEALTH AND WELLNESS Student wellbeing is central to life at Bayview Glen. Our student support team includes our full-time School Nurse, Director of Student Wellbeing and Deans of Student Life, working together to support students' physical and mental health.

NUTRITION AND DINING Our dining programme, delivered in partnership with Chartwells, serves healthy and balanced hot lunches every day, with menus designed for each division from Toddler to Upper School. Vegetarian options and accommodations for allergies and dietary needs are always available, supported by strong allergen management and nutrition education. Students help shape the menu through regular feedback, and Upper School students may also bring lunch from home or use their student card in the dining hall.
Annie Davies-Irvine, RN, BScN As Bayview Glen's full-time School Nurse, Annie Davies-Irvine plays a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our students. Annie provides direct care and assessment during the school day, works collaboratively with faculty and staff to promote health education, and liaises with public health partners when needed. Strong student care also depends on partnership. Families are encouraged to connect with Annie to share relevant health information, ask questions and support continuity between home and school.
