One of 43 secondary schools founded by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, St. Mary Academy – Bay View proudly provides young women with an exceptional education guided by the values of the Sisters of Mercy. The foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, Catherine McAuley, envisioned the education of women as a means to spread Christian values, affect social change, and empower women to find and achieve their fullest potential. We are happy to do just that!
Today, nearly 150 years later, Bay View continues to educate, inspire and empower girls and young women every day, in a community that is warm and welcoming, and intent on making each student feel valued.
