Make a positive difference in the world. Fostering that ability and desire in you is what Baylor is all about. It’s the thread that weaves through all of our academic experiences, starting with our leading programs. Global Scholars focuses on learning through an international lens, while Civic Scholars emphasizes civic engagement. Students in our Scientific Analysis and Research Program work directly with top research scientists to tackle global health issues.

How does Baylor lead? With a clear, innovative curriculum taught by some of the nation’s leading educators. By our mission: to foster in our students both the ability and the desire to make a positive difference in the world. In the classroom, where Baylor offers AP courses in 24 subjects and is the only high school in the region to offer a 500-level course in Chinese – the equivalent of a sophomore-level college course. With an adviser system that pairs students with faculty advocates, fostering strong relationships and support while students are adjusting to living away from home. In innovation, from virtual reality to collaboration with MIT students and college-level environmental research classes. Baylor students are leading the way in becoming tomorrow’s innovators and entrepreneurs.

“The ethos of our classrooms is to generate interest. Once students are interested, they will do things that they may have once thought they were incapable of.” ~ William Montgomery ’92, Dean of Faculty
