The Diana R. Garland School of Social Work offers three, fully-accredited graduate programs to meet the needs of social work professionals. The PhD in Social Work program’s hybrid structure of online and on-campus components is unique. Baylor’s PhD in Social Work program offers a distinctive focus on the integration of religion and faith with the ethics, values and practices of the social work profession. Our students learn about human dignity, the power of hope, the need for justice, caring as the foundation for effective change, and service that transforms lives and communities. The Garland School of Social Work enables students to prepare both professionally and spiritually to embrace their calling to model Christ’s love to a hurting world.
