Engineering & Computer Science Baylor’s School of Engineering and Computer Science includes programs in mechanical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and computer science. Students engage in instruction, scholarship, and service that prepares them for professional practice and responsible leadership. A vital connection for students during their time here is their interaction with our faculty. We have faculty who care about their students. We have faculty who are leaders in their fields and not only teach in the classroom, but also advise student organizations, help students with career goals, participate in student mission trips, and offer opportunities for students to get involved in their research. Our faculty have won teaching, research, and service achievements within Baylor and by national professional organizations. By empowering students with innovative problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, our graduates are equipped with the technical, communication, and teamwork experience needed to succeed in their chosen careers. Our industry Board of Advocates, which currently includes more than 30 industry executives, provides valuable advice and financial support to our programs.
