The chandelier theme which brings the elegance of Georgian interiors right into the heart of the World Heritage city has been retained by popular demand. The spectacular display was commissioned by Bath & North East Somerset Council by specialist company, Blachere who have illuminated cities from Paris to New York. Councillor Cherry Beath, Cabinet Member for Sustainable Development, said: “This year’s Christmas Lights Switch On Ceremony has put Bath on the map like never before – with a live BBC broadcast on The One Show. Bath & North East Somerset Council is proud to have provided more than 70 individual Christmas light features around the city centre, which make up this year’s magnificent display.”
