GRE

Many graduate and business schools accept GRE scores, so you might be able to take one test to pursue both options. 700 test centers exist in more than 160 countries, so you can find a location that is convenient for you. The computer-based GRE test is available throughout the year in most regions. Scores are valid for 5 years, so you can take the test now, even if you’re undecided about what you want to do. Skills measured on the GRE general test include: Verbal Reasoning: measures reading comprehension skills and verbal and analytical reasoning skills, focusing on your ability to analyze and evaluate written material. Quantitative Reasoning: measures problem-solving ability, focusing on basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. Analytical Writing: measures critical thinking and analytical writing skills, specifically the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively. Interested in distinguishing yourself from other applicants? GRE Subject Tests are offered as a way to emphasize your knowledge in a specific skill area. These tests may not be required, but they’re a great way to help increase your chances of getting noticed in the admissions process.
