When you step inside one of the 55 incredible projects on the Remodelers Showcase, you get the opportunity to see what real Minnesotans are doing to transform their homes into spaces that fit their lifestyles. It’s your chance to meet and connect with remodelers that focus on the details that make a house a home. One of the best places to find remodeling inspiration is straight from the families that have gone through the process themselves. These homeowners were right in your shoes at some point: They loved their home and their neighborhood, but the layout was no longer functioning or the style felt dated. Our cover family and other real family stories (pages 12-19) are a great place to start! Their stories never cease to amaze me: The collaboration of remodeler and homeowner to keep the charm of the old, while creating a functional, updated space to enjoy for years to come. Our two Dream Remodeled Homes are sure to be stops you won’t want to miss (pages 26-28). These whole house remodels are not only stunning, but you’ll be giving back to the community when you tour. A $5 entry fee to these two homes goes back to the BATC-Housing First Minnesota Foundation, which creates and remodels facilities for veterans and the homeless.
