AL ULA | SAUDI ARABIA
The concept of the project is connecting Al Ula’s History to it’s future, the main idea is the user’s experience taking on the different eras of Al Ula and this is represented by the circulation system that will make the user travel between the different zones Historic, Contemporary, and the Future
Adding the 3 main zones of the project to represent the different eras of Al Ula, The Nabatean, The Contemporary and Present Era, and Lastly The Future, our journey will start with the Nabatean
Merging the zones toghether to create the user experience and achieving th curiosity effect that the user should feel throughout their trip inside
MAABAR TUBA | URBAN REDEVELOPMENT
MAABAR TUBA is the name of the project, Maabar means passage and it is the middle zone in the project where it connects the 3 zones together
AL MADINAH | SAUDI ARABIA
AZMAN ZONE is a transitional zone where modern architecture meets with traditional architecture of Hijaz region, this zone will emerge with the traditional elements of Hijazi architecture and blend together, Azman will contain a shopping central plaza.
The name Azman came from the idea that there are 2 timelines co-operating with each other (Past to Present and vise versa) to create a sense of place and bring life to this zone where a person can “time travel”
TUBA ZONE is the zone where it all meets, this zone will be the connection point between the 2 other zones, this zone will have green facades that will blend with the natures of the 2 other zones. This will make the historic building have more importance than its surroundings.
The name Tuba is a name for a tree in heaven, it was chosen as a name for this project to emphasize how this project could be the Heaven and heart of Al Madinah
OTHMAN ZONE is a zone filled with Othman Arabic calligraphy in a modern sense, this zone buildings will have Othman Arabic calligraphy on their facades with a mix of traditional architecture. It will provide a spiritual sense to the place; ground level will be mostly dedicated to libraries and bookstores.
The name Othman zone came from where the first Quran was first gathered by Sahabi Othman bin Affan in Al Madinah using the Othman Arabic calligraphy

MADANI | CIVIC CENTER
The idea was to integrate building systems with the triangle which is a symbol of Najd in a way that focuses on a human centered design that revolves around Social Experience, an ordered solution, and a geometric form
RIYADH | SAUDI ARABIA
The triangle serves as a functional shape and is a part of saudi heritage, it also represents geometry and order
Creating an inner court serves as a social hub for each co-related zone, it also functions as a circulation center that takes the user to the other zones. Breaking the triangle offers openings to create circulation patterns and connection points to the other triangles
The shape of the triangle been deformed to acomodate the project program and it created the social hub and the zones
