The extension of the Barossa Mall and the relocation of the traditional department store into three separate retail outlets, brought a new era of retailing to the Barossa. Rod and Spur, Orchard Lane Boutique and Barossa Sportspower and Surf bring a new shopping experience to the Barossa operating from the mall seven days a week, with friendly and knowledgeable staff in each store. Each manager has worked hard to develop their own business, tapping into buying groups that offer clothing, accessories and goods in well known brands and that are matched with competitive prices for the consumer. Paul Schupelius, Barossa Sportspower and Surf manager, said the relocation to the mall has made the store a destination. “It has made us a destination and increased our foot traffic into the store,” said Paul. “It has also become a lot more convenient for our customers and has made us a one stop shop with the supermarket.” Paul and his team pride themselves on a high level of customer service and ensuring the customers’ expectations are met. “We offer a broad range of the latest brands in sporting and surf accessories, footwear and apparel,” said Paul. “And we have a commitment to servicing the sporting community and the community as a whole.
