COLD START
Cold Start is a practical, energy saving feature that is incorporated into selected Atlas brassware models, making a leap in tap functionality.
HiB’s Atlas Mono and Atlas Tall Mono mixers feature a full Cold Start position. When the tap is turned on, it serves cold water as standard. By turning the handle to the left, hot water can then be selected. This means that the boiler is only engaged when you need it, reducing energy and costs.
Atlas is WRAS approved. WRAS approval indicates that Atlas has been thoroughly tested to demonstrate it is of a suitable quality and standard against the requirements of the Water Fittings Regulations and Scottish Byelaws.

Ensure adequate ventilation is maintained in the bathroom. Timber products will be adversely affected by excessive moisture. HiB Novum bathroom furniture is not suitable for use in saunas, steam rooms, shower cubicles or wet rooms.
GUIDANCE
Always seal all cut edges with a silicone or polyurethane sealant.
Countertops
When cutting a countertop to size, allow a minimum of a 4mm overhang each side of the furniture unit. All square edge laminate countertops are supplied with a length of edging. When cutting slimline laminate - compact grade countertops to size, we recommend placing the cut edge against a wall where possible.
Cladding Panels
When installing a BTW in a furniture run, allow for plinth returns when selecting a suitable plinth length (see diagram to right).
All end panels, infill panels and plinths are finished on all sides. HiB recommends installing end panels,infill panels and plinths 2mm from the floor.
