Rev. LeMarcus Douglas, M.Ed., Sr. is a humble servant committed to the work of the Lord. In 2003, at the young age of 11, he accepted the call into ministry under the leadership of Bishop Ray Neal, Senior Pastor of Faith Memorial Church. He prayed and studied over the next several years allowing God to mentor him. In 2010, he began work on the battlefield preaching his Trial Sermon and by 2013 earned his Ministerial Licensure under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Valencia Scott. After strict examination and hard work, Rev. Douglas was ordained by Pastor Darrius Moore, Senior Pastor of China Grove First Missionary Baptist Church and Pastor David Laster, Sr. of Greater Love Temple. Rev. Douglas is native of Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Frederick Douglass High School. He continued his education at Benedict College earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Family Education with a Minor in Religion. During his years at Benedict College, he served as Vice President of the National Association for Religious Studies and Theology. Rev. Douglas continued his education earning a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Columbia College. In the fall, he plans to begin his Doctoral studies at Clark Atlanta University. Rev. Douglas is very active in the community. He is a member of the Atlanta Branch of the NAACP, Prince Hall and Accepted Masons Olive Grove Lodge, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Rev Douglas is currently an Associate Minister at Second Nazareth Baptist Church where Dr. Johnny Ray Noble serves as Senior Pastor. He and his lovely wife, First Lady Shimira Douglas, are the proud parents of three beautiful children Aubrey Rosser Douglas, Amar Antonio Douglas, and LeMarcus A. Douglas, Jr. known as LJ. Most importantly, Rev Douglas loves God’s people and lives by this motto: “Reaching beyond the limits of education is the keys to a successful life.”
