With an array of features and applications designed for end-user access, the ELAS raises end-user expectations and increases personal satisfaction. Their confidence in your superior management of their security needs, together with the positive experience of enjoying autonomous control away from home, will ensure that they stay with you long-term.

6

ELAS Architecture The fully redundant and scalable ELAS keeps central monitoring stations continually in touch with every device inside and outside the premises, integrating the status data from motion sensors, IP and PIR cameras, on-site control panels, and safety devices such as gas & fire detectors. Innovative video verification features allow virtual inspections in order to assess the need for on-site visits. The ELAS’s real-time data management helps eliminate human error, needless response to false alarms, on-site visits to rectify a malfunction, and other factors that may reduce efficiency and increase operating expenses for a security service provider. • Complete system and home automation control • Advanced video features: - Video verification - Video look-in - User initiated video images and clips • Smartphone applications with one touch, easily accessible comprehensive video monitoring

• Remote maintenance, diagnostics and control • Advanced video verification • Web remote programmer • Web administration application • Remote firmware management utility

7

ELAS Advantages for End Users The Convenience of Remote Management The ELAS's ability to adapt to the need of the moment introduces a new level of user-friendly operation. With the ELAS platform, the full range of user control, including video verification, can be easily accessed from PCs, smartphone devices (iPhone, iPad, Blackberry etc.) and other wireless platforms.

New Levels of Empowerment Homeowners can manage their homes from wherever they are to deal with small nuisances that may disrupt the operation of their security system. For example:

A window accidentally left open can be temporarily bypassed, allowing the security system to be armed everywhere else. A temporary (24-hour) user code can be created for house guests or repair crews to control the security system, rather than revealing the regular code. Family members and others who may need to enter the home (such as children returning from school) can be assisted by a parent who disarms the system from the work place.

8

Full Video Security Advanced PIR-based detection cameras installed at users’ premises offer combined detection and recording of video images and clips. The camera’s PIR detection automatically triggers recording of events which are then sent to users. Users may also enjoy enhanced services from monitoring stations that can verify events and determine the most appropriate response in real-time. Additionally, the recorded event images can also provide valuable evidence for insurance claims.

New Autonomy in System Control The activation and disarming of the security system and household appliances and devices can be performed at will through the ELAS, via dedicated end-user web and smartphone interfaces. For enhanced peace of mind and comfort, users can:

Add, edit or delete settings, when and where alerts are sent, and other details that can be configured for convenience. Access system event logs, which can be viewed on-line, saved and/or printed. Create automatic schedules for home appliances, heating, lights and other devices to turn on or off, following the clock or in real-time response to an event.

9

ELAS Advantages for Service Prֿo ֿ viders Video Verification Part of the added value that service providers can offer with the ELAS is real-time video verification for more efficient event assessment and response. This capability can be shared with the end-user if desired, creating extra revenue in the charges applied for video features, including video look-in and user-initiated video clips. Examples of the increased effectiveness that can be achieved with video verification, rather than a standard alarm signal: • False alarms are immediately distinguished from a confirmed crime-in–progress.  • Law enforcers give higher priority to calls likely to result in apprehension and arrest.   • Guarding companies may prioritize response to a visually verified crime-in-progress.

Remote Firmware Management One of the biggest benefits of the ELAS system is the ease of upgrading security firmware through RFM. One procedure will update or modify all devices at the same time, using GPRS bandwidth. Updates are executed without disruption to users, and feedback reports are generated automatically.

Enhanced Service at Reduced Costs The ELAS enables greater detail in reporting, more efficient accounting, higher confidence through video verification and faster responses to security needs. The capacity to update firmware or perform routine testing in thousands of control panels with one command relayed through the ELAS, instead of sending out technicians to each site, is only one innovation that saves significant operating costs.

10

Full-Circle Control Computer monitoring and checking of all security devices at every site continues around the clock, providing ongoing system status updates, high-speed reporting of any IP events, and instant relay of response commands via a user-friendly menu.

Back-Office Support A central index page displays all customers, their site status and history, their individual access data, and whether they are currently on-line. Each end-user is granted a password-protected database configured by the provider, with your choice of parameters available for monitoring, changes or activation/deactivation.

Additional Income Generation The ELAS scalability allows the integration of supplementary services. Providers can define end-user access to event logs, camera images and alert messages, based on a profit-building “optional list. Customer demand can be created for extended services, such as GPS locator capability for family members, medical monitoring for the elderly, environmental damage prevention and other profitable ventures.

The EL IP Receiver The EL IP Receiver is an XML proxy server; a sophisticated software platform that recognizes and coordinates all security hardware, software and communication networks. The result is reliable, effortless monitoring of events 24/7, with the full array of real-time responses at your fingertips.

Smart Scalability The EL IP Receiver scales its operation to Internet bandwidth availability, with the capacity to run multiple control systems on a single broadband line. The proprietary software architecture allows service providers to expand the IP Receiver to accommodate thousands of sites with equal efficiency, integrating different security panels, alarms, sensors, household appliances and other devices scattered throughout a city or across a country.

User-Friendly Programming The familiar Windows-based menu format provides an intuitive programming environment that is easy to master and modify. Set-up, configuration, upgrades, time settings, maintenance, status checks, diagnostics, event log generation, and activation/deactivation of devices and functions can all be performed remotely from a PC or other portable device enabled by the EL IP Receiver.

11

High-End Wireless Security The sophisticated iConnect system, with its sleek design, serves as the command center for a residential and small commercial Security and Home Automation network. Powered by the full range of ELAS remote management functions, iConnect effortlessly integrates remote signaling from end-users, monitoring stations, service providers and technicians. The ELAS enables remote programming and maintenance of the iConnect system by Internet or smartphones, built-in interface with PSTN/GSM/GPRS communication modules, configuration of email and SMS event notification to users, and much more. The two-way wireless RF technology built into iConnect also enables the use of PIR Cameras for eventtriggered video images and clips, as well as video verification. The compatible EL two-way peripherals communicate with the iConnect control panel and respond to RF signals with top-level data security. Designed for superior efficiency, the peripherals only respond to signals when the control panel is armed, and then they act with enhanced speed to minimize energy consumption and signal traffic congestion.

Two-Way Wireless PIR Camera

Specifically designed for EL’s Two-Way Wireless range, the PIR Camera incorporates three state-of-the-art technologies: PIR motion detection, CMOS imaging technology and two-way wireless communication. When armed, the Camera is automatically activated by an event and captures a series of images before, during and after the alarm. These are sent to users or security personnel via MMS, email or smartphone applications. Users can also trigger video transmission on demand, through the ELAS smartphone application and web interface, which remotely activates the PIR Camera and generates real-time snapshots of the protected site: verifying an intrusion, looking in on a child, or checking the premises for lights left on. Based on provider’s enduser control settings, users may likewise remotely disable the Camera to save battery power or protect privacy.
