Hello,

My name’s Uyen and I am Interior Designer.

Out of my childhood memories imprinted on me, my favorite one is spending my sum mer time traveling to the countryside and visited my relatives. Some of them lived in the stilt houses in the mountainous region, others are settled in the cottages in the coastal regions, even stayed in a semi-floating house on the Mekong River. Thanks to those memorable trips, I soon realized myself being attracted by the diversity of living spaces, which captured the different environmental, historical, and cultural flavor. It then led me to the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City, majoring in Interior design, with a desire to create those such stunning- wellbeing- longevity living spaces.

This portfolio gathers my selected works during my professional life. Apart from presenting the quality of my work, It also demonstrate my interest and concentration, which is about wellness and sustainable living.

02.1 THE IMPACT OF ENVIRONMENT AND CULTURAL

The design storyline should be inspired by the current surrounding as well as cultural concerns. Despite the similar design approaches, they can significantly determine a more comprehensive and unique outcome. The cultural factors are valuable in consideration of history and religion, while site contents do make us concentrate on contemporary.

02.4 THE RELATIONSHIP OF ACTIVITIES AND SPACE.

The interesting of a project is the relationship of all the activities and experience within. Further research on operation helps to optimize the usage and deliver more value for the design.

02.2 ENHANCEMENT OF POSITIVE ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES

Interior and exterior are not separate but blended. A beautiful interior design is profoundly beautiful only when it highlights and inherits the beauty of surrounding architectural feature.

02.3 BE TRUE TO MATERIAL

The used materials aims to show their own nature to engages the senses of viewers and tell their emotional stories.

IMPERIAL HOUSE

With the “ Architecture no architecture” design approach integrating historical and natural heritage along with exploring the traditional characteristics in modern architecture, the concept objective is to fully exploit the site potentials and create a high standard of service. The new construction is hidden under surrounding nature to give up overall view from top roof. The functional spaces was arranged at different level depend on topography and connected together by many green roof layers. Between layers is the space for sun light, wind and tree shadow to penetrate.

Nature always knows how to create surprises, sometimes calming, sometimes magnificent and rigorous but sometimes such simplicity and tranquility exudes from the splashing sound of wave, rustling of winds, cooling aromas of trees . .

SPA

Everything starts with a little doubt but captivating at the same time, it will be even more interesting when we go deeper into the unknown. There we see a strange light, a mixture of plants, water and the sun and that feeling will return freedom.

VILLA

Under the shading tree, cooling down the street, the sound of the waving crashing into the sandy beach like an endless song complimenting the beauty, richness of the sea...

BLUSH-THE

“We living in an increasingly Global destination market. Blush seeks to create not only the premier beach entertainment destination in Vietnam but create a regional hub of music, culture, food and the celebration of life catering to the entire South East Asian Market. We are not native to saigon, but being from another place gave us perspective. We are overwhelmed by the saigon story and our journal brings our vision of that to the world.”

There’s an untold story behind each door. At Fusion Original Saigon Centre, we celebrate life with unique de sign and creativity.

Miss Thu is a beautiful and acute Saigonese lady. She was born in tradition but is sophisticated and modern to her time. The host of the restaurant she is. Miss Thu is well-traveled, has strong passion for Vietnamese cuisine and loves to bring her international experiences into her food service.

I almost didn’t recognize my city when I was standing here and my heart skipped a beat for this moment...
