Aviation Certificate I - Private Pilot(16 units) Aviation Certificate II - Instrument Pilot (23 units) Aviation Certificate III -Commercial Pilot (32 units) Aviation Certificate IV - Advanced Pilot (36 units) A.S. Degree Commercial Pilot (60 units) Coursework is transferable. Please refer to the Cypress College catalog for course descriptions and degree requirements. You can earn transferable credits, certificates, and A.S. degrees while attending a beautiful and centrally located campus in North Orange County.

How Long Does the Program Take?

Students typically begin by working toward a Basic Certificate, that does not require General Education (GE) units. The basic certificate takes 1 to 2 semesters to complete depending on how many classes you want to take per semester. Advanced Certificates and Degrees take 2-4 semesters.

Qualifications for most Aviation & Travel

Careers: • Two Years of College (Degree preferred) • Customer Service Experience • Drugs, alcohol, security screen • Excellent physical condition • First Aid & CPR (Airline and Cruise only) • Math & English Skills
