At Banner, our mission is to offer 100% of our products as part of our eco range. We’ve already made huge leaps towards this goal, and in 2023 we’re going even further.
What’s a sustainable uniform without a P.E. kit to match?
Available for 2023, our entire APTUS brand is making the transition to sustainable fabrics, using recycled polyester to construct our much loved sportswear garments. Products from both APTUS Essentials and Performance will still have the same quality look and feel but now, collectively with our eco uniform, they’ll keep us on track to prevent 50+ million plastic bottles from landfill by 2025!
Our APTUS garments were designed to inspire students of any age, gender and body type to get involved with school sports with confidence. While this remains the core motivation for our APTUS ranges, the transition to eco fabrics reflects our dedication to doing the right thing for the planet and future generations.

Our mission to provide an inclusive and diverse range of sportswear meant making sure our core APTUS Essentials items are available in sizes perfect for younger students.
The APTUS Essentials Junior collection provides a perfect solution for primary schools looking for a new stylish PE kit that students will not only look great in but will want to wear.
With its contemporary design aesthetic, the Junior Collection comprises four key garments; a S/S Training Tee, Training Shorts, Training Pants and a Full Zip Training Top. These garments combine modern design with functionality and co-ordinate to create a complete head to toe look matching APTUS Coolmax Socks (featured on page 43).
Thoroughly researched and designed in-house, the Junior Collection boasts carefully balanced flashes of colour with contrast colour panels and binding, and hints of silver reflective details to create smart contemporary garments and a perfect look to suit all budgets.

APTUS FOR GIRLS
Our female specific range was created in close consultation with female PE staff and students to design garments that contour with the body during activity, forming flattering silhouettes.
Head of Design, Emma Connelly states ‘the central concept behind our female range was to encourage girls to participate in sport at school with clothes that flatter, boost body confidence and actually perform’.
The female leggings have been well received by schools along with the training top that has a hidden cord in the seams to allow the top to be adjusted in length to fit the comfort of all body types.
