Sedex is one of the world’s leading ethical trade service providers working to improve the working conditions in global supply chains. As a Supplier/Buyer member of Sedex since 2006 we have been working closely with our global supply chain to manage their social and environmental performance and protect workers. All are required to complete a third party ethical audit process (Sedex SMETA) 4-Pillar which is a robust and high level ethical, social and environmental audit standard.

The Better Cotton Initiative Banner is a member of BCI, the largest cotton sustainability programme in the world. The BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, the environment it grows in and for the sector’s future.

Schoolwear Association

Banner has been an active member of The Schoolwear Association since its inception in 2006. The SA is an industry body made up of a network of schoolwear suppliers, wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers who believe in the creation and sustainability of a strong and ethical market place and who work together as a collective voice to help drive up standards and promote the benefits of school specific uniforms.

Climate Neutral Now As a confirmed participant of The United Nations Climate Neutral Now initiative, Banner has completed a report and pledged it’s commitment to continue to strive to become climate neutral and support global efforts to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees. Our CNN achievement badge shows the levels we have achieved in 2020.

KNITWEAR A complete coordinated uniform can be created with made to order sweaters, cardigans and slipovers.

Our knitwear is soft to handle, comfortable to wear and hardwearing. You can choose from a range of different styles, yarns and colours. We can supply any dyed to match colour at your request.

Add a striping trim option, either one or two stripes in a variety of colours to the rib, hem, stolling, armholes and cuffs to create a unique and individual look.

Striping Colour Options Our knitwear is both soft to handle and hard wearing. You can choose from a range of knitwear styles in any of the featured stock colours and add a striping trim option in a variety of colours as shown. One or two stripe options can be selected to the neck rib, welt, cuffs and stolling.

We have 25 stripe yarn colours to choose from and many of them are available in the blazer braid colours to co-ordinate with all blazers to create a unique individual look.
