How to Enter the Promo�on
7. Members can enter the Weekly Draws by doing the following:
a. Members will receive one (1) entry into the Virtual Barrel for swiping or scanning their Membership card at the nominated screens every hour, on the hour each promo�on week from Friday 18 August 9AM – Thursday 26 October 7:59:59PM. The first promo�on week will be from Friday 18 August 9am to Thursday 24 August 7:59:59pm. From then, the following promo�on week will be from Thursday 8:00pm to the following Thursday 7:59:59pm.
b. Members will receive five (5) entries into the Virtual Barrel for every $20 spent at any par�cipa�ng outlets at BDSC (excluding San Churro, Lady Banks Roo�op and Al Aseel, Monkey Mania and Ultrafade) between Friday 18 August 2023 to Thursday 26 October 2023. Entries will be allocated as follows:
i. One membership card can be swiped or scanned per transac�on to earn the entry into the Virtual Barrel. The membership card must be scanned or swiped at �me of transac�on by the Member.
ii. Members can make a purchase through BDSC’s online ordering system (known as ‘me&u’) to earn entries, Entries from purchases made a�er 7:59:59pm each Thursday through me&u will go into the Virtual Barrel and will be included in the following week’s draw.
iii. Members must enter their membership number into me&u before payment, to earn entries. Entries will not be made retroac�ve in the event that a member does not enter their membership number at �me of transac�on.
iv. Me&u is a separate legal en�ty and is en�rely unrelated to BDSC. BDSC is not responsible for any entries that are provided to it late or otherwise not provided to it by me&u.
v. All POS transac�ons made during the Promo�onal period but before the Weekly Draw will be included in the Virtual Barrel (entry may take up to 10 minutes to be counted due to processing �me. If this occurs, the �cket will be included in the next draw, or if the weekly draw has finished, it will go into the next week’s draw).
Weekly Draws
8. The Weekly Draws will take place every Thursday from 7pm, commencing from Thursday 24 August 2023 and concluding on Thursday 26 October 2023 (a total of 10 Weekly Draws).
9. The Weekly Draws will consist of 3 draws per night (7pm, 7:30pm & 8pm), offering a different prize every 30 minutes. Refer to the table below for more informa�on:
10. 7pm Draw
a. The total prize pool of the 7pm draw is $2,000 in Member Points ($200 per week).
b. If the 7pm prize is not claimed within four (4) minutes, another draw will occur again at 7:15pm.
c. If the prize is unclaimed a�er four (4) minutes, the prize will be forfeited and there will be no winner.
d. The next prize drawn will be at 7:30pm.
11. 7:30pm Draw
a. The total prize pool of the 7:30pm draw is $4,000 in Member Points ($400 per week).
b. If the 7:30pm prize is not claimed within four (4) minutes, another draw will occur again at 7:45pm.
c. If the prize is unclaimed a�er four (4) minutes, the prize will be forfeited and there will be no winner.
d. The next prize drawn will be at 8:00pm.
12. 8pm Draw (referred as ‘8pm Major Draw’ or ‘Major Draw')
a. The winner of the 8pm Major Draw will have a choice of a travel voucher, valued at $5,000 or cash prize, valued at $3,000.
b. If the 8pm prize is not claimed by the selected drawn member within four (4) minutes, redraws will con�nue to take place every fi�een minutes from 8:15pm un�l 10pm that night.

c. The final draw will occur at 10pm and that drawn member will be the winner regardless of their atendance on the night and will be phoned the next business day. The member must claim their prize within three months from contact. In the event the prize is not claimed within this period, a comparable and legal redraw will occur.
13. The drawn member will have four (4) minutes to claim their prize at the dedicated promo�on area in the Rainforest Lounge, as announced by the Promo�on host.
14. All entries received will form part of and be drawn from the Virtual Barrel for the Weekly Draws.
Who is Eligible to Win?
15. To par�cipate in the Promo�on, members must be physically and personally present at BDSC on the weekly draw nights to claim their prize withing the claim period.
16. Subject to clause 10, entrants for the Promo�on must be:
a. Financial and current Members of BDSC throughout the Promo�onal period to be eligible to win (Members); and
b. Over the age of 18 years; and
c. Agree to and comply these Terms and Condi�ons.
Excluded Par�cipants
17. You cannot par�cipate in the Promo�on if:
a. You have been suspended from BDSC at the �me of draws. You will not be eligible to enter the draw or claim prizes.
b. You are a director, employee or contracted personnel of BDSC (or any related en�ty) or you are the immediate family of a director, employee or contracted personnel of BDSC (or any related en�ty)
– [Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, exspouse, de facto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adop�on), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunty, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin].
18. To successfully claim any prize, Members must provide proof of iden�ty and proof of entry validity or proof of membership. Proof of iden�fica�on and proof of entry will be considered suitable for verifica�on by the discre�on from the management team at BDSC. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, then the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no subs�tute will be offered.
General Terms and Condi�ons Applicable to the Promo�on
19. The winner who selects the Travel Holiday Voucher cannot later redeem the voucher for cash.
20. The BDSC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Condi�ons of Entry or who has, in the opinion of BDSC, engaged in conduct in entering the Promo�on, which is fraudulent, misleading, decep�ve, or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputa�on of the Promo�on and/or BDSC.
21. The BDSC’s decision is final and the BDSC will not enter into correspondence regarding the Promo�on result or any other decisions the BDSC makes in connec�on with the Promo�on.
22. All prizes will be awarded to the person named in the entry. However, in a dispute, will be awarded to the account holder of the entry mechanism used to submit their entry.
23. In the event of a technical failure (including but not limited to the display screens, �cket printer, PA system or draw system), draws may be postponed or cancelled. Cancella�on or postponement of a draw is strictly at management discre�on. In the event of a cancella�on, prizes from cancelled draws are forfeited and the prize value of any such cancelled draws will be added to the Major Draw.
24. All winners of the Bankstown Sports Membership Points must redeem their points before they expire as per the General Member Condi�ons.
25. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implica�ons may arise as a result of accep�ng the prize and BDSC will not be held liable in rela�on to any tax implica�on which does arise.
26. It is a condi�on of accep�ng the prize that the winner must comply with all the condi�ons of use of the prize and the prize suppliers’
requirements. It is the responsibility of the winner to confirm such condi�ons with the prize supplier or other relevant third par�es.
27. It is a condi�on of accep�ng the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by BDSC in its absolute discre�on.
28. All entrants agree that if they win the prize, they will not, and their companions will not, sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisa�on,
29. including via the internet, whether for considera�on or otherwise. Photographs will be allowed only at the discre�on of BDSC.
30. Subject to complying with all relevant State and Territory legisla�on, BDSC reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Promo�on if an event beyond the control of BDSC corrupts or affects the administra�on, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promo�on.
31. BDSC may in its absolute discre�on cancel the Promo�on and recommence it from the start on the same terms and condi�ons, subject to any direc�ons given under State Regula�on.
32. BDSC and their external venues and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interrup�on, dele�on, defect, delay in opera�on or transmission, communica�ons line failure, the� or destruc�on or unauthorised access to, or altera�on of entries, and reserves the right to take any ac�on that may be available.
33. BDSC reserves the right to redraw the prize if an entrant who claims to be a prize winner is unable to sa�sfy these terms and condi�ons.
Copyright, Statutory Guarantees, Waiver and Liability
34. In considera�on for BDSC awarding the prize to the winners, the winners hereby permit the winner’s submission, image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed, or filmed during the winner’s par�cipa�on in the prize to appear in connec�on with Bankstown Sports or the adver�sing or marke�ng thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be en�tled to any fee for such use.
35. Each entrant hereby assigns to BDSC all right, �tle and interest in and to all copyright and all moral rights in any material created or otherwise submited to BDSC in connec�on with that entrant’s entry or
par�cipa�on in any a spect of the prize (Works). Each entrant warrants that BDSC is free to use the Works (including modifying, adap�ng or publishing the entry, whether in original or modified form, in whole or in part or not at all) and to exercise its rights in rela�on thereto and neither the entrant nor any third party will be en�tled to any fee for such use.
36. BDSC does not exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Australian Consumer Law in the Compe��on and Consumer Act (2010) (Australian Consumer Law) which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, the remainder of this clause will apply to the fullest extent permited by law and BDSC shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequen�al loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connec�on with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. BDSC is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate informa�on, either caused by entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or u�lised in this Promo�on, or for any technical error, or any combina�on thereof that may occur in the course of the administra�on of this Promo�on including any omission, interrup�on, dele�on, defect, delay in opera�on or transmission, communica�ons line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, the� or destruc�on or unauthorised access to or altera�on of entries.
37. BDSC reserves the right in its sole discre�on to disqualify any individual who BDSC has reason to believe has breached any of these condi�ons or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promo�on. BDSC’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensa�on from such an offender are reserved.
38. All entries become the property of BDSC. BDSC collects personal informa�on about you for the purposes of conduc�ng this Promo�on. All informa�on collected by BDSC will be used in accordance with BDSC’s Privacy Policy (see link below).
39. All entries will be entered into a database and BDSC may use the entrant’s names, addresses and telephone numbers for future Promo�onal, marke�ng and publicity purposes. By entering, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. We
collect and use that informa�on to provide you with our goods and services and to promote and improve our goods and services. We may share your informa�on with our related companies and any of us may be in contact for those purposes (including by email and SMS). If you do not provide us with requested informa�on, we may not be able to provide you with the goods and services, you require.
40. Where you have entered a Promo�on, we may disclose your personal informa�on to authori�es if you are a prize winner or otherwise as required by law.
41. If entrants no longer consent to their details being used for future marke�ng purposes, the entrant should contact BDSC on their details set out below. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant’s details should be directed to BDSC.
42. BDSC’s privacy policy can be viewed at BankstownSports.com/privacy. To request access to, or to update, personal informa�on BDSC holds about them, entrants can contact the office of BDSC by telephone on 02 9722 9888.
43. This Promo�on is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
