Birrong Sports Club ‘Birrong Bonanza’
Terms and Conditions
1. Birrong Sports Club – ‘Birrong Bonanza’ Members’ Draw will commence from Thursday 25th May 2023 at 9:00am and concludes on Wednesday 2nd August 2023 at 9:06pm.
2. Draws will be from a total prize pool of:
a. $6,500 ‘Cash Jackpot’
b. $1,000 Bonus Member Points
3. Each draw will be conducted at Birrong Sports Club at the Corner of Rodd Street and Gascoigne Road, Birrong NSW, 2143, using a digital promotional system. The drawn membership number will be displayed on selected screens at Birrong Sports Club The membership number will also be announced over the public address system. In the event of a technical failure, membership numbers may not be displayed on screens and/or draws may be postponed.
Weekly Draw Nights and How to Enter
4. Between Thursday 25th May 2023 to Wednesday 2nd August 2023, there will be 2 draws at 6pm and 8pm, every Monday and Wednesday night These are referred to as the ‘Cash Jackpot’.
5. Members will receive one entry into the Virtual Barrel for swiping or scanning their Membership card at the nominated screen every hour, on the hour for the promotion week from Thursday 25th May 2023 at 9:00am and concludes on Wednesday 2nd August 2023 at 9:00pm. The first promotion week is Monday 29th May 2023 at 9:00am – Wednesday 31st May 2023 7:59pm. From then the promotion week will be from the time the member is found on the Wednesday 8:00pm until the following Wednesday 7:59pm.
6. The first draw night on Monday 29th May at 6:00pm will start the ‘Cash Jackpot’ at $650.
7. Each draw after this, the ‘Cash Jackpot’ will jackpot by $150 time.
8. The drawn member will have four (4) minutes to claim their prize at the front reception. If the prize is unclaimed after four (4) minutes, the prize will jackpot to the next draw.
9. If the ‘Cash Jackpot’ has been won, the next draw time will start from $150.
10. The total ‘Cash Jackpot’ will be $6,500
Weekly Bonus Draws
11. The Weekly Bonus Draw consists of $50 in Membership Bonus Points.
12. The Weekly Bonus Draw will occur from approximately 8:04pm after the 8:00pm ‘cash jackpot’ draw, every Monday and Wednesday.
13. They will be drawn from a Virtual Barrel of members who swiped or scanned at the venue during the promotion week (refer to point 5, above). Any entry that is generated after Wednesday 7:59pm will go into the following draw.
14. The Drawn Member will have four (4) minutes from the time of the announcement to claim their prize at the dedicated Promotion area as announced by the Promotion host or notify a staff member at the venue.
15. If the final drawn member at 8:08pm has not claimed the prize within four (4) minutes, the venue’s management team will notify the winner of their winnings and organise the $50 points to be activated on their membership card.
Final Draw Night – ‘Cash Jackpot’ and Bonus Draw
16. On the final draw night, Wednesday 2nd August 2023, there will be a ‘Cash Jackpot’ draw at 6pm and 8pm, and a bonus draw after the last ‘Cash Jackpot’ draw.
17. If the amount from the 6pm draw is not claimed, this amount will jackpot to the 8pm draw.
18. If the ‘Cash Jackpot’ is not claimed after 8:00pm, redraws will take place every four (4) minutes until a winner is found.
19. If the prize is not claimed by 8:54PM, the next member/s drawn at 8:58pm will be the winner regardless of their attendance on the night and will be phoned the next business day.
20. The member/s must claim their prize within three months from contact. In the event the prize is not claimed within the period, a comparable and legal redraw will occur.
21. The bonus draw will take place four (4) minutes after the conclusion of the ‘Cash Jackpot’ draw.
22. The Drawn Member will have four (4) minutes from the time of the announcement to claim their prize at the dedicated Promotion area as announced by the Promotion host or notify a staff member at the venue.
23. If the final drawn member has not claimed the prize within four (4) minutes, the venue’s management team will notify the winner of their winnings and organise the $50 points to be activated on their membership card.
General Terms and Conditions
24. Members must be physically and personally present at Birrong Sports Club (BSBC) to claim their prize within the claim period.
25. Suspended members at the time of the draw are not eligible to enter the draw or claim prizes.
26. Participation is open to all those in venue over the age of 18, except employees and immediate families of the Promoter and their associated companies and agencies and participating outlets. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de facto spouse, child, or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, or 1st cousin.
27. In the event of a technical failure (including but not limited to the display screens, PA system or draw system), draws may be postponed or cancelled. Cancellation or postpone of a draw is strictly at management discretion and negotiation will not be entered. In the event of a cancellation, prizing of cancelled draws is forfeited and the cancelled draws value will be added to the following draw. This does not apply to the Bonus Draws -the bonus draw prize will be forfeited.
28. All winners are required to present proof of identity to claim their prize.
29. BSBC is not permitted to issue any more than $2,000 prize money in cash. Any prize money exceeding $2,000 must be awarded as a registered cheque or EFT. If the prize is claimed 10pm or later, the entire prize must be issued as a registered cheque or EFT. All registered cheques will be available two business days after the draw, the winner/s will be contacted directly to advise them of the specific timing.
30. This competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
