LOCAL ARTIST | Francis Bowyer Francis Bowyer PPRWS Hon RE was born in London and studied at St. Martins School of Art and Chelsea School of Art. He has exhibited widely across the country, and has work held in the Royal Collection and HRH Prince Charles Collection. Francis' paintings of Walberswick, Suffolk; interiors of Parisian restaurants; and more recently studio interiors, create a lively vibrancy that has enchanted the public and buyers at each exhibition. “Light and colour play an important part in my paintings. The brief moment captured. A richness and enjoyment of colour is always at the heart of the subjects that I am attracted to.” It is this vision that Francis has brought to depicting RHS gardens.
