The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) makes sure that vulnerable groups like vulnerable sections and low-income groups have access to financial services and get the credit they need when they need it. At the heart of financial inclusion, Kiosk Banking Registration is an important idea made for rural areas in countries with few banks and people can't connect to and use services.
To help low-income people with their money, Kiosk Banking Registration wanted to help them out. It also wanted to give them the following:
• Feasibility: Kiosk Banking is convenient and easy to get to even the most remote villages in the country. Because village workers can go to the bank, it spreads the banking network to where more people can go. Shops in the area had stalls set up so that people didn't have to wait in long lines to get what they wanted.
• There is no minimum balance: graduates can open a new bank account with no credit. To use banking services, you don't need to have money. LIG and low-wage workers can open and manage bank accounts without thinking about how much money they have in them.
• NEFT and RTGS: People can make NEFT and RTGS transactions without going to a bank branch.
• The kiosk banking process is much easier because things like KYC and document verification are much faster and easier than in a bank.
• People who own stores and sell things can also make more money by depositing and taking money out of their kiosks.
