Karting Championships Begin

Maarten Vliegen, Patana Parent ur karting students did an awesome job on the racetrack this past weekend and received their awards for the Kart Championship of Thailand 2020.

Year 9 student Nandhavud (Jem) Bhirombhakdi put his talent to work in his first race as a Senior. He qualified in first position and finished the final in second position. This is remarkable since the Senior karts are much heavier and faster than the Juniors. Not to mention that he had to add balance of performance (BOP) of 27kgs (very heavy indeed) but Jem enjoyed the new challenge! In the Junior’s Open, Year 8 student Charyanath (Charya) Seneviratne started in 16th position overall and Anuras who struggled with his engine all weekend long. finished in 12th postion. He was driving in the X30 Engine It is all being sorted out and he will be back on track in the next race. As the champion, Jem received the Junior category that won him a podium. championships for Thai National and Rok Cup Thailand, Taiyo Vliegen from Year 7 dominated the Mini class from while Taiyo received the 3rd position trophy.
