strong for BPS, meaning Patana won the silver medal. An excellent result for the girls against some very competitive teams! Day 3 provided the opportunity for our athletes and swimmers to show off. Once again the cold conditions required students to adapt. The day started with the athletics tournament, Patana secured an array of podium finishes, notably Nadon winning 5 medals in ‘A class’ events, Vincent achieving 4 ‘A’ medals, Emiko securing 3 ‘A’ medals and Aiko receiving 3 medals. The BPS athletics team finished 3rd overall. The afternoon was the final event of the tournament- swimming. Similar to the athletics, our swimmers dominated a large number of races, with plenty of BPS representation on the podium. Vincent added to his medal haul from the morning’s athletics with 4 additional swim medals. Niamh showcased her immense talent by winning every event she entered! All the swimmers’ efforts paid off when the BPS team finished 2nd overall. Well done to all who competed across the 3 days of competition.
