Under 15 Boys’ Football

Throughout the league games leading up to BISAC the team played exceptionally well, only losing one game to RIS when we had 3 key players missing and a further 3 had to come off injured. Therefore the team set their sights high and were really positive going into the tournament. However, a slow start in both of their opening games and disappointing performances all round meant they lost their first two games and could not finish higher than 7 th. With the pressure off in their last group game they beat NIST (the eventual BISAC winners) and were the only team throughout the whole tournament to score past them! The team finished in 7th with an emphatic 9-2 win but these last two performances were too little, too late. A capable team but they should take on board the old cliché; hardwork beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. Honours: BISAC 7th Team Awards: MVP: MIP: CC:
