PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS

The Palmville family is extremely delighted that our two clubs were able to execute the twin club agreement and successfully conduct joint projects, fellowships and meetings. It was our honour to have this collaboration with Rotaract Club of Baneshwor Royal. We are looking forward to future collaborations and continued support between our two clubs

Rotaract gives us the wonderful opportunity to connect and interact with vibrant clubs around the world. It gives us a platform to discuss our unique ideas and share our cultural values with each other.

International Services gives us access to collaborations and fellowships with international clubs, which turn out to be extremely impactful and fun for members of both the clubs.

ISD'S ADDRESS Being the International Services Director has given me access to truly learn about Rotaraction around the world.

Over the year, I have interacted with numerous clubs through fellowships, events, letterhead exchanges and twin club agreements. To learn how these clubs function and to exchange ideas have helped our club grow.

The Twin Club Agreement with Rotaract Club of Baneshwor Royal has been one of our closest international relation with whom we also conducted our International Services ProjectTravel Guide Exchange. The teams of Palmville and Baneshwor Royal were imbibed with each other's cultures via fellowships and events. It was our privilege to execute this agreement with Baneshwor Royal.

Finally, we also published travel guides for our respective cities(Kathmandu and Bangalore). I hope that this is only the beginning of our friendship, and that we only grow closer and make strides together doing great work and joint projects in the years to come. I would like to end my note with this quote from the founder of Rotary International: “The foundation upon which Rotary is built is friendship; on no less firm foundation could it have stood.”—Paul P. I am delighted to share a few words for the joint bulletin published by Rotaract Club of Baneshwor Royal and Rotaract Club of Palmville. This bulletin is extra special for us, as it is the first one that we have created with our international twin club—Rotaract Club of Palmville. We signed the twinship agreement only at the end of May–essentially we have been twins for just a month. But I am happy to say that we have been able to form a bond between our clubs even in this short period of time. e got to learn about the activities conducted by both clubs throughout the year, and also have got to know each other. We hosted a Game Night where we had a fun quiz session and found out who among us were the most knowledgeable about movies and geography.

SECRETARY'S ADDRESS

We also have published travel guide to our beautiful cities of Kathmandu and Bangalore. In this travel guide we have described about our beautiful cities and major attractions of such places has been mentioned. We are optimistic and hopeful that our relationship will foster in upcoming years as well. I believe the twinship agreement between us is just the beginning of long lasting bondness and fellowship. Cheers to many more years of friendship and togetherness !

First of all I would like to congratulate all the Rotaract leaders for amazing Rota year 21/22. Also I would like to congratulate Rotaract club of Palmville and Rotaract club of Baneshwor Royal for establishing international twinship relation. It’s a matter of pleasure to share our words in this bulletin as it’s our first bulletin being published with our international twin club. We signed the twinship agreement lately in the RY 21/22. Our bonding was started a bit later in the year and our closeness were limited. Despite limited interaction and few fellowship events, in short period of time I believe our bond as a club and as a fellow rotaractor has been enhanced surely. We hosted Game Night where members from both clubs participated in this fellowship event to enhance the bonding between the members.

JOINT MEETING

The event started off by introductions of all the participants from Rotaract club of Baneshwor Royal and Rotaract club of Palmville. This was followed by presentations from both the clubs sharing information of their club's respective activities during the year in areas like community service, professional development and more, providing all the participants with insights of each other's rotaract club. This was followed up by a fellowship as an icebreaker for all the participants - 2 quizzes were organised by members of Rotaract club of Baneshwor Royal, one was on geography and one was on movies. The session was extremely enjoyable and served as a great way to interact with members of both the clubs and further improved the relationship between both the clubs.

TRAVEL GUIDE EXCHANGE We wanted to learn more about the beautiful cities of our twin club and hence decided to prepare a travel guide that we could share, This guide truly helped us see the city from a local's eyes. This also gave us an opportunity to learn about the hidden jewels of our own city as well. We had a great time discussing and preparing the guides. We shared the travel guide virtually over mail.
