C OAC H H A R BAU G H S AY S THE RAVENS’ PRACTICE & WORK ETHIC:

“We’ve been practicing well and improving every single week. That’s what you try to do; improve every week. Our guys have done that. I’m really impressed with the way our guys practice. They practice really well and really hard – that’s how you become a good football team. Ultimately, that’s how you win games. We’re judged on wins and losses, certainly, but the process is very important to us as players and coaches, because we understand what that leads to.”

(10-0)

QUICK HITS • It’s a Thanksgiving Night showdown between two of the NFL’s best rivals when the Baltimore Ravens (6-4) battle the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers (10-0) at Heinz Field. Baltimore will play on Thanksgiving for the third time in franchise history (2-0 record), but this marks the Ravens’ first-ever road game on the November holiday. • The Ravens, who have dropped two-straight one-score games (each by 6 points at NE and vs. Ten.), look to rebound after the Titans nabbed a 30-24 OT victory last Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. In the contest, Baltimore held a 21-10 third-quarter lead, but Tennessee battled back and ultimately won when RB Derrick Henry rumbled for a 29-yard TD with 5:21 remaining in OT. Tennessee rushed for 173 yards (including 111 in the second half/OT), while Baltimore tallied 129 ground yards of its own, led by RB J.K. Dobbins (70) & QB Lamar Jackson (51). Overall, Tennessee outgained Baltimore, 423-306, in total yards. • In the all-time Baltimore-Pittsburgh series, the Steelers lead the regular season count, 26-23, also going 3-1 in the playoffs. Under John Harbaugh, Baltimore is 14-14 (including playoffs) against Pittsburgh, winning the past two matchups at Heinz Field. • In a 28-24 loss to the Steelers at home in Week 8, Baltimore held a 10-point lead at the half, but couldn’t fend off a late Pittsburgh surge that saw the Steelers score 21 second-half points. QB Lamar Jackson, who threw 2 TDs (also lost 2 fumbles and had 2 INTs, including one returned for a 33-yard TD), attempted a potential game-winning end zone pass to WR Wille Snead IV that was broken up as time expired. The Ravens (457) outgained Pittsburgh (221) in total yards, but the Steelers’ +3 turnover margin proved to be the difference.

I N J U RY U P DAT E Pro Bowl D-linemen DE Calais Campbell (calf, past two games) and DT Brandon Williams (ankle) did not play against Tennessee last Sunday. Three offensive starters are on Injured Reserve: TE Nick Boyle (knee), rookie RG Tyre Phillips (ankle) and All-Pro LT Ronnie Stanley (ankle). During Sunday’s Titans game, the Ravens started their fifth different offensive line combination of the season.

NOTE THE QUOTE

DE DEREK WOLFE

ON THE

RAVENS’ FOCUS ENTERING WEEK 12:

“This organization has a standard. And Coach Harbaugh said it right after [the Titans loss]: ‘It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter what happened. It’s on to the next game.’ We have to play Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh on Thursday night, and we have to focus on them, because it’s a quick turnaround. You have to stack wins. Wins come in bunches, and you’ve just got to get that one win.”
