TRADITIO N OFFICIAL RING COLLECTI O N

Dear Louisiana Tech Students,

Congratulations! You have reached a significant milestone on your path to a degree from Louisiana Tech University and have attained the class ring.

Students and alumni wear the Louisiana Tech ring as a permanent symbol of their experience here. From memories of the pleasant walks and noble trees to the Tenets of Tech lived out every day, this ring will continue to be a permanent connection for past, present, and future students and alumni.

This ring is reserved for graduates, for graduate students who have completed their degree program, and for undergraduates who have completed 75 or more credit hours.

If you order by the deadline, you will be invited to participate in our University’s ring ceremony The first part of the tradition is the Procession of the Rings. Ring recipients will follow the alumni walkway with Tech XXII as our ring bearers carry the rings. The procession winds through campus from the bricks of the most recent graduates, under the Centennial Clock Tower to the brick of our very first graduate, Harry Howard, and then back up to the President’s Walkway

The rings will be held in a special box in the Centennial Clock Tower and guarded overnight. The next morning you will receive your ring in our special ceremony. Regardless of your commencement date, this annual event is for you.

Tech graduates symbolize our best hope for the future and embody the values we have shared for over 125 years. Your diploma will be proudly displayed for years, and your class ring is a symbol of your achievement that you can wear proudly every day!
