Baja’s in-house design engineers create custom Solar Support Systems™ & standard canopy designs for Baja’s extensive productline that meet the engineering specifications of the customer and their city’s criteria. Our in-house design engineers provide customers with plans that seamlessly integrate into their property’s site with optimize kW production. Baja’s unmatched product & field experience directly reduces base of support.

Baja Construction crews deliver and install Baja Carports throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Each Baja Carport is highly specialized, for this reason, we use our workforce to ensure quality, control production, and support a fast-track schedule from delivery to installation. Baja has the logistics in place to complete projects anywhere. We interact with our suppliers daily to avoid unnecessary delays and issues.

Baja has a division dedicated to repairing all brands of carports and canopies. A Baja repair technician will assess the damage and price the repair accordingly. Most damage caused to carports is from a vehicle colliding with the column post or its roof’s trim. Baja technicians understand the urgency to get the carport back into commission. Because Baja’s primary service is carport installation, our repair technicians are experts in industry compliance.

General Specifications Pre-Engineered

For local loading requirements. Live/snow loads from 20 psf up to 60 psf, and wind speeds from 90 mph to 160 mph. Special loading requirements can be custom engineered inhouse to customer specific conditions.

Pre-Fabricated

Bolted connections make for faster on-site installation by Baja Construction crews with no intended field welding. Direct attachment from modules to purlins, with no additional racking or decking required to reduce base of support.

Exterior paint finishes vary by vendor’s brand.

All structures can be painted on-site.

PV Module Performance

Baja designs and engineers its solar support system™ structure carports and canopies to optimize kW production. Power generated performance is based on module choice, orientation, layout, and location. Baja can accommodate proposed PV layout(s), improving integration and implementation of Baja Carports Solar Support Systems™ .

Materials All cold-rolled light-gauge, high tensile-steel framing and components are fabricated and erected in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. All designs are in strict compliance with the standards requirements set forth by the local municipality and the American Iron & Steel Institute’s AISI S100.

Steel members are galvanized per ASTM A653 with minimum coating designation of G60 or G90.
