PRESIDENT “I have had the honor of serving as Gamma Gamma’s 20222023 Chapter President! I am a Senior from Charlotte, NC Majoring in Psychology. Before my role as Chapter President, I had the privilege to serve as Vice President. Before serving on governing council, I was a part of the Shamrock logistics team, a set leader for our newest members, as well as a member of the Care Team. As my Presidency is coming to an end, I am excited to reflect upon my time of service and share highlights from our spring and fall semesters with you! It has been a year full of growth, challenges, sisterhood, philanthropy, and confidence. We have had incredible achievements and opportunities throughout our High Point Community. On campus, we have sisters involved in club sports, varsity dance and cheer teams, leadership societies, campus tutors, University ambassadors, SGA, and countless executive members across clubs and more!

As I pass the torch to the next generation of leaders, I am filled with gratitude for the memories and friendships that I will forever cherish. I hope that you enjoy learning what we have been up to over the past year and we would love to hear from you sharing life updates, special announcements, and more! We continue to strive for that which is honorable, beautiful and highest!”

“From June 30 to July 3, 2023, in National Harbor, Maryland, Kappa Delta celebrated 125 years of Our Own KD at the 65th Biennial National Convention. It was a weekend full of sisterhood, celebration, and confidence. Convention is a time to acknowledge our accomplishments over the past biennium, imagine the future, and recognize those who have left a lasting impact on Our Own KD.” President Meredith Strause served as our collegiate chapter delegate, where she represented the Kappa Delta Gamma Gamma chapter. Sisters Ashlee Lowe, Kailyn McCarthy, Skylar Newberg, Erin Kaelin, and Francesa Ellis were among those from governing council and executive council who had the opportunity to attend.

'22 Rising sophomore, Adriana Myers, represented Kappa Delta in the first-ever Miss High Point University pageant by the Circle K International Club. This event raised over $11,000 for Brick x Brick; a project in partnership with UNICEF which works to build a sustainable future for families in the African nation of Côte d’Ivoire. We are so proud of Adriana for representing our chapter gracefully and confidently!
