Concept Statement

The purpose of this project was to create a multi use event center that would be able to connect the city of Austin together under one roof. Through my design I incorporated a theather, multi floor gathering and social space as well as open views on the second floor for people to look out over the parts of Austin that this building is adjacent to.

Concept Statement

My Gym Concept revolves around a mix of indoor and outdoor activity with an abundance of useable courtyards as well as swimming pool and outdoor running track. The dual entries provide easier flow of traffic considering the size of the site to better optimize time efficiency

Materials inculde

- Steel

- Glass - Wood floors - Tile

I ensured natrual light was a main factor in my design with curtain walls as well as sloped glazing roof over some areas.

Access to outside enviroments during excercises was also another important element displayed in this project with the use of an above ground track and a relaxing courtyard fitted with trees and a fountain

The concept of this project was to create a laid back enviroment or social club so i decided on an open space night lounge which is about 17,000 sqft. It’s fully equipped with normal ammentities as well as 2 floors with a bar on both floors and a kitchen on the first floor with a situated skylight positened in the middle of the building for dancing

Guest will proceed through the front entrance with parking on site as well as access to outside interactions with two manmade rivers on the east and west side of the building. There will be back doors for guest who want to take a break outside on the north side of the building

Concept Statement

My building concept is Embodiment which to further explain is a collection of actions and connections that embodu what a healthy balance of living both internal amongst other residents and external relationships with the surronding neighorhood and businesses. I also installed areas for both the current residents and neighborhood residents to mingle and get to know each other such as occasional food trucks, soccer field, baseball field, park and other areas to maxiize physical activity

The purpose of this house was to create something that could incorporate natrual light. Through this i used glass walls for walkways and gathering places such as living room as well as the master bedroom in the picture below
