hat pleasures does a fine wine collection offer?
Above all, those of rarity and time. These wines are precious and grow even rarer with each passing year. Time, indeed, is the collector’s essential ally: without it, there can be no collection. Each bottle acquired becomes part of a temporal journey, where past, present, and future intertwine.
The collector works with time. Each vintage is the result of a singular year, shaped by the whims of the climate and the winemaker’s expertise. Yet this expertise is itself constantly evolving. The winemaker refines their techniques, exchanges ideas with peers, draws on scientific advancements, or follows personal intuition. In this way, time shapes both the wines yet to come and those already resting in the cellar.
Once acquired, the wines begin a new chapter in their existence. Aging – when supported by optimal storage conditions – transforms the wine, enhances it, reveals it. Here lies one of the greatest pleasures for the collector: to preserve, to wait, and finally, to discover.

buyer’s premium
The maximum bid price that you provide during your bidding process is the hammer price only. If you are successful on a lot, a buyer’s premium of 22% will be added to the hammer price for each lot you buy. The successful bidder is responsible for any VAT that may arise on the hammer price and the buyer’s premium. VAT charges and refunds depend on the particular circumstances of the buyer. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ascertain and pay all taxes due. VAT is payable on the buyer’s premium and, for some lots, VAT is payable on the hammer price. In all circumstances Swiss law takes precedence.
