What started as a small import-export office, founded by two young entrepreneurs—Marius Rumbinas and Gvidas Krolis—has evolved into a pioneering company committed to sustainability and quality in the production of eco-friendly packaging solutions.
From our early days producing custom-made packaging for supermarket chains and department stores across Central Europe and Scandinavia, we have always believed that business success and environmental responsibility should go hand in hand. In 2015, this belief led us to establish our own manufacturing plant in Lithuania, where we began offering machine-made bags using non-woven spunbond and paper, always with the planet in mind.

Over the years, we’ve developed cutting-edge production methods, including pioneering reusable non-woven polypropylene shopping bags using advanced bonding technology. Since 2020, we’ve taken our commitment to sustainability even further by introducing recycled non-woven spunbond materials
into our production. We’ve also expanded our range of products with automatic handle carrier paper bags, available in various sizes and finishes to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our eco-friendly bags are crafted with up to 100% recycled materials, using non-woven R-PP or nonwoven R-PET, and are fully recyclable. For a more biodegradable option, our machine-made paper bags are 100% biodegradable, providing a great way for businesses to reduce their environmental impact. Produced using eco-friendly materials and available in multiple sizes, these bags are also printed with waterbased inks, ensuring sustainability throughout the process.


Our eco-friendly bags are crafted with up to 100% recycled materials, using non-woven R-PP or non-woven R-PET, and are fully recyclable.
Recycled Non-woven Spunbond (rPP) is made from postindustrial recycled polypropylene, which plays a vital role in reducing plastic waste and its impact on the environment. By reusing materials that have served their purpose, rPP minimises the need for virgin plastic production, significantly reducing carbon emissions and conserving valuable natural resources. This approach supports the circular economy, in which waste materials are continuously reintroduced into the production cycle, reducing reliance on new resources.
What distinguishes our manufacturing process from many Asian competitors is our commitment to sustainability. While Asian manufacturers typically use virgin polypropylene (PP) in their non-woven materials, requiring constant new resources, we prioritize recycled content—particularly post-consumer waste—significantly reducing environmental impact and resource consumption.

Recycled PET (rPET)




Recycled PET (rPET) is a sustainable material made entirely from 100% post-consumer plastic waste, such as discarded plastic bottles. The process starts with collecting, sorting and cleaning used bottles. They are then shredded into flakes, melted and spun into fibers that are woven into durable fabrics used to make bags.
This closed-loop process is a prime example of the circular economy, where waste is continuously reused rather than discarded. By choosing rPET, we reduce the need for virgin materials, cut down on plastic waste and reduce carbon emissions. By using only recycled content, rPET is the most sustainable option for high quality reusable products such as bags.

Kraft paper, available in brown, white and ribbed grades, is renowned for its strength and environmentally friendly properties. Brown Kraft is made from unbleached wood pulp, making it highly recyclable, biodegradable and sustainable with minimal chemical processing. White Kraft has similar durability but is bleached, slightly reducing its environmental benefits, although it remains recyclable. Ribbed Kraft has a textured surface, providing extra strength for packaging, while maintaining the same environmental qualities as Brown Kraft. All forms of kraft contribute to sustainability by being biodegradable and recyclable, making them excellent alternatives to plastic in packaging.

Eco-Cent Bag
A durable, reusable bag that completely replaces single-use plastic and paper bags.

Our sustainable and innovative ECO-CENT reusable bag— designed and manufactured in Lithuania—effectively replaces single-use polyethylene and paper bags.
In 2019, the European Union approved new legislation concerning the use of single-use plastic that came into effect on 3 July 2021. It was adopted to address the unsustainable consumption and use of lightweight plastic carrier bags, which are among the top ten items of litter throughout Europe. Lightweight plastic carrier bags are often used only once, but they take centuries to fully degrade in the natural environment. While this is happening, they are often ingested by terrestrial or marine animals, or break up into microplastics. Either way, they end up in the human and animal food chain.
The Directive requires EU Member States to take measures, such as national reduction targets and/or economic instruments (e.g. fees and taxes) and marketing restrictions, provided that the latter are proportionate and nondiscriminatory. The measures taken by EU Member States include either or both of the following:
• The adoption of measures to ensure that the annual consumption level does not exceed 90 lightweight plastic carrier bags per person by 31 December 2019 and 40 lightweight plastic carrier bags per person by 31 December 2025, or an equivalent target set about weight; and/or
• The adoption of instruments to ensure that by 31 December 2018, lightweight plastic carrier bags are not provided free of charge at the point of sale for goods or products, unless equally effective instruments are implemented. The Directive also requires EU Member States to ensure that consumers are informed about the availability of REUSABLE ALTERNATIVES and to encourage the use of such alternatives for SUSTAINABLE SHOPPING.
Therefore, back in 2017, BAGFACTORY started to explore innovations and develop a unique non-woven bag ECOCENT that would be environmentally sustainable, socially responsible, would have ecological advantages, and could replace single-use plastic and paper bags.

How does the Eco-Cent bag fulfill the three pillars for ecologicallyfriendly packaging?
Why our reusable bags are eco friendly?
REDUCE: The Eco-Cent BAG is lighter than most single-use paper carrier bags and even traditional +50 micron plastic carrier bags.
REUSE: Produced out of a soft fabric that is very pliable, the bag should be treated as a valuable item instead of a single-use item. Although the material is light, the bag has been tested to carry 15 kg of groceries time after time, and if it gets dirty you can easily launder it in a cold wash cycle.
RECYCLE: Up to 95% of the bag is made from recycled material, ensuring savings on the raw materials. Also, since the bag is made out of just one mono-material, it can be easily recycled when it reaches the end of its life.

In the production of our ECO-CENT bag, we use a lightweight (50 grams per square metre) material with unique properties, which is two times lighter than an ordinary paper bag with handles.
