NEWS! SPRING SHOW
We can't wait to share our Spring Show with you in May! As a reminder, our Spring Shows will take place on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 at Renton High School's IKEA Performing Arts Center. Show photos (in costume) will take place during regular classes from Monday, April 29 through Saturday, May 4. The following week, we'll hold regular classes (no costumes) and then dress rehearsals (in costume) will take place at the studio May 13 through 15. The dress rehearsal schedule for the week of May 13th will be shared soon.
Show pictures are taken by Nigel Cooper Photography, and all shows will also be professionally video-recorded by Shotwell Productions. Families with dancers participating in the shows will be charged a Spring Show Media Fee of $80.00 on April 15 (this covers all digital downloads of dancer pictures and video recordings of all 6 shows). This fee will be charged per family, NOT per dancer, and will only be charged to families with dancer(s) participating in our shows. More Spring Show information will be shared in the coming weeks!
Do you need to double check which show your dancer is in? This information is listed in the class descriptions in Jackrabbit and will be posted on our website soon!

When will my child receive their show costume? We are still receiving costumes from our vendors and hope to have all costumes in hand after spring break For classes where we have received all costumes, we will begin to have students try on in class in March to ensure proper fit. Costumes will not be sent home with students, however, until after Spring Break in April.
What is the process for taking photos for the Spring Show? All students who are participating in the Spring Shows will come to class in costume during the week of May 29 through May 4. Students will take individual and group photos in their Spring Show costume during class time. Nigel Cooper Photography is taking all photos and will distribute a link to digitally download your child's photos approximately two weeks after the Spring Shows The cost of the digital download is included in the Spring Show Media Fee that will be charged in April (this fee will only be charged to families with students participating in the Spring Shows)
If my child misses class, can they still make it up? Because we are focused on learning choreography for our Spring Shows in all participating classes, attendance at this time of year is SO IMPORTANT. Therefore, we are no longer offering make-ups for classes missed. Please encourage your child to attend class regularly and practice their dance at home! Students in Creative Movement and Acro classes WILL be permitted to do class make-ups after March since those classes are not participating in our Spring Shows. Contact our customer care team in the studio with any questions
When is the last day of class for the 23-24 session? As we enter the second half of the 20232024 school-year session, we wanted to pass along a few details about our post-Spring Show timeline Dancers will return to regular classes after our Spring Show (on Monday, May 20th) and continue through Friday, June 14. These last weeks of classes will include assessments/evaluations, end-of-year celebrations and recognitions, and a week of “try-it” classes to explore new dance styles. Watch for an email in the coming months with more details about the schedule for the final weeks of our session.
Is the last day different for classes not participating in our Spring Shows (Creative Movement and Acro classes?) Students who do not participate in our Spring Shows (those in Creative Movement or Acro classes only) will continue with classes under the same schedule as those who participate in our Spring Shows (with a session end date of June 14th) Students in Creative Movement and Acro classes, however, will NOT have classes the week of May 13th, which is the week of our Dress Rehearsals and Spring Shows. Families with students in Creative Movement and Acro classes will receive a credit for one class on their May tuition billing. Creative Movement classes will have a performance for their families in the studio (during class) the week of June 3rd, and Acro classes will invite families in during the last 10 minutes of class that week to show parents the skills they learned during the session! More details about our end-of-session schedule will be shared in the coming months.
