• CHB: Certified Hereford Beef Index is a terminal sire index that is built on a production system where Hereford bulls are mated to mature commercial Angus cows where all progeny will be targeted for the finishing phase. This index uses Carcass Weight, Marbling, Rib-eye Area, Average Daily Gain, Dry Matter Intake and Back Fat.

• BMI: Baldy Maternal Index is a maternally focused index that is based on a production system that uses Hereford x Angus cross cows. This index uses Sustained Cow Fertility, Weaning Weight, Mature Cow Weight, Milk, Dry Matter Intake, Carcass Weight, Marbling and Rib-eye Area. This index is geared to identify Hereford bulls that will be profitable when used in a rotational cross with mature commercial Angus cows.

• Total $ Index is a unique calculation for total genetic merit. This index uses our own formula to calculate the AHA values from each EPD trait and creates a TOTAL $ index.

• All sale heifers have received Bovi Gold VL5 Pre-Breeding vaccination and BANGS tag.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bidding. Terms of all sales will be cash or unless arrangements are made between purchaser and seller prior to sale. Corrections or additions of any information contained in the sale catalog will be announced from the auction stand and will take precedence over any printed material.

• The animal becomes the property of the purchaser as soon as sold, but it shall be the responsibility of the seller to see that animals are properly cared for until delivered to the purchaser. Any death or injury after the animal is sold is at the buyer’s risk.

• Anyone attending this sale attends at their own risk and without liability on the part of the owners or their employees.

• Individual health papers will be furnished with each animal permitting shipment to any state.
