Welcome to the 65th Annual Bull and Female Sale at Rausch Herefords! We sincerely hope this catalog finds you and your family in good health. We also hope that you’re as optimistic and excited about the future of the cattle industry as we are. It appears that we are on the verge of exciting times.

Selecting herd bulls is one of the most important decisions you make for your program. We work hard to offer bulls who are functional and practical with a high level of multi-trait performance in the profit areas. Our summer breeding program utilizes over 35 breed-leading herd bulls. We carefully select bulls to compliment the strengths and weaknesses of the cows in each breeding group. Our program not only takes the EPDs and pedigree into serious consideration, but we also ensure every herd bull proves himself by evaluating the actual performance of his offspring in the herd. This allows us to present the most proven, consistent genetics to our customers.

Rausch cows have a track record that speaks for themselves. Developing Dams of Distinction remains a priority for us since efficient, fertile and productive females are the foundation of any successful cattle herd. We have high expectations for our cows - the first-calf heifers often raise bull calves that sell in the sale as yearlings.

In memory of Gary, two $500 heifer grants will be awarded again this year. To qualify, the bidder must be under 21 years old and registered to bid on sale day.
