Shocking! Sasol stakers staan saam Top ANC figures are reportedly planning to oust President Cyril Ramaphosa. A group in the ruling party including former president Jacob Zuma are plotting in secret to unseat Ramaphosa. The group allegedly wants to challenge the Nasrec conference based on mass irregularities at branch meetings, claiming that many delegates were illegitimate. Rumours are spreading that Zuma held a clandestine meeting in Durban this week with ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule, former North West Premier Supra Mahumapelo, Secretary of the Women's League Meokgo Matuba. Eyewitness news claims to be in possession of pictures showing Zuma meeting the group at the Maharani Hotel last Thursday scheming plans to unseat the president. It’s also alleged that another meeting was held with a fightback strategy involving court action to challenge the outcome of the party’s Nasrec elective conference which saw Ramaphosa rise to the top seat in the party. Earlier this year, Ramaphosa slammed those he has described as being divisive and expressed hope that disunity would not continue within the ANC.

Sasol het net te ver gegaan.” Sasol het onlangs ‘n nuwe personeelaandeleskema, Khanyisa, bekend gemaak. Ingevolge die skema is wit werknemers asook buitelanders van dié tienjaarskema uitgesluit. In die tweede been,
vir die volgende tien jaar, word wit mense egter uitgesluit. Volgens Hermann beteken die nuwe skema in praktyk dat ‘n Sasol-werker wat 30 jaar by Sasol werk, niks kry nie, maar iemand wat drie maande by Sasol werk, kry aandeelwaarde van R500 000. “Die staking is nie oor wit en swart nie, maar oor reg en verkeerd. Die konsepmynbouhandves bepaal ook dat wit werknemers nie uitgesluit mag word van personeelaandeleskemas nie. Die 6 300 lede is hoogs opgeleide werknemers wat strategies vir Sasol van groot belang is. Sasol gaan die krag van kennis beleef. Hulle beplan om Sasol te wys wat die gevolg gaan wees as die maatskappy hulle uitsluit. By hierdie staking is nie vensters gebreek, bande gebrand of asblikke omgegooi nie, maar inteendeel heerlike worsrolle om braaivleis vure geniet.
