At Babson, our students grow into adaptable, globally minded leaders—empowered by a diverse community of peers, faculty, alumni, and business trailblazers from around the world.
Our students have the tools and understanding to identify problems, look at business models, and see how to create value at any organization. Babson educates entrepreneurial leaders from around the world and empowers them to add social and economic value everywhere.
– President Stephen Spinelli Jr. MBA’92, PhD
Babson students enter the workforce empowered to succeed and make an impact from day one.
Babson’s dynamic and rigorous curriculum, rooted in Entrepreneurial Thought & Action® (ET&A™), blends business classes with the liberal arts and sciences to deliver a one-of-a-kind undergraduate business program.
Our unique experiential and collaborative courses are the hallmark of our business curriculum. Most Babson students complete these dynamic core courses, which are designed to equip them with the skills to create lasting value for organizations, communities, and the world.
An award-winning first-year course where students build, launch, and manage a real venture—equipping them with entrepreneurial leadership skills and hands-on experience.
In their second or third year, students explore how people and nature interact through a systems-thinking lens—developing critical insights into sustainability and global challenges that are increasingly relevant in the workplace.
Required in the third or fourth year, these experiential learning courses place students inside real organizations, where they gain direct leadership and problem-solving experience through applied projects with companies and nonprofits.
FME is one of the things that truly separates the Babson learning experience from the rest. Most schools rely on textbooks and case studies, while the FME experience puts theory into practice, exposing you to many aspects of business you can’t learn in a classroom such as team dynamics and real-time decision making.
– Dave Heath ’05, Co-Founder and CEO, Bombas
When I think about my career, I think about two courses: Foundations of Management & Entrepreneurship (FME) and Organizational Behavior. I’ve realized that while the work I do is important, so is how you work with people. That coursework helped me navigate my career and role at American Express. I must translate business needs across teams.

We’re always excited to connect with Babson students because they bring something special — curiosity, fresh thinking, and a drive to make an impact. They ask thoughtful questions, contribute meaningfully, and leave a strong impression on our teams. Many of them go on to build careers here, and their impact continues long after graduation. At Staples, we’re proud of the people who power our business, and Babson grads are a big part of that. In my marketing and social media marketing classes, we did simulations. We actively tried to sell products and build a reputation. I can directly translate the work I’m doing in my classes to the work I’m doing now. This felt very unique to Babson.
