FEEDBACK SESSION 9: Joel White – Trainee pilot We thank former pupil Joel White (Class of 2009) for an excellent, insightful talk about his ab initio training as a pilot at CAE Oxford Aviation Academy (caeoaa.com/) and wish him well for the final stages of his course. SESSION 10: The Perfect Covering Letter and CV Bablake’s Careers Department has led practical workshops with groups of 5th Year p upils who took part in our 2017 CV Challenge. Those pupils will be able to collect their individual applications next week -‐ advice will b e added on how to improve any future submissions. FORTHCOMING SESSIONS ND SESSION 11: BABLAKE CAREERS CONVENTION (2 YEARS AND ABOVE) -‐ Thursday 1 February (from 6pm)
SESSION 12: Alexandra Stevenson -‐ Legal Ambassador for Northumbria University – Thursday 8 February (1pm) We will be welcoming Alexandra Stevenson from Northumbria University to lead a session about its award-‐winning Law School, which houses a real courtroom, onsite law library, legal skills hub and law clinic. Please let us know Career areas you would like to discover more about, as we look to plan the rest of our Spring/ Summer programme.
