Google My Business products and services give businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

By adding products and services, you provide potential customers with additional information that might help them choose your product or service over a competitor’s. And by adding your products or services you’re directly ‘feeding’ Google details about your organisation as a ‘named entity’ to potential customers.

MISTAKES Businesses on GMB are not doing it Products/Services are too lumped.

TOOLS Sign into your account.

On the menu pane on the dashboard, the “Products” and “Services” tab is shown. It will also appear on the “Info” tab.

To add a product, select the “Products” tab on the menu pane and click the “Add product” button.

A pop-up window will appear and fill out the necessary details to add your product. Once done, click “SAVE”.

To add a Service, select the “Services” tab on the menu pane Select and click the “Add another service” option.

Note: This option can be seen below the last item of your services.

To add another business category, select the “Add another business category” button located on the bottom part of the services window.

WHERE DOES GMB PRODUCTS AND SERVICES SHOW? On Google Search on desktop, it is located on the knowledge panel.
