You are not on your own. When it comes to figuring out how to finance your investment in advanced education, you are not on your own. APU’s Graduate and Professional Student Account Counselors are available to help you coordinate financial aid packages, scholarships, fellowships, and loans. Personalized financial aid services ensure that you receive the best and most appropriate types of assistance. Count on your Student Account Counselor to help you explore all of your options and make wise decisions regarding your investment.

REGISTRATION FOR COURSES

REGISTRATION FOR GRADUATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS All students can enroll in Azusa Pacific University courses online at: home.apu.edu. View Class Registration Instructions (PDF) for a detailed tutorial. In order to add or drop classes, access the home portal at: home.apu.edu within the add/drop deadline. If you are past the add/drop deadline, you will need to fill out and Enrollment Activity Form (EAF) and return it to the Graduate and Professional Registrar at the Graduate and Professional Center or by scanning the EAF and emailing it to gpcregistrar@apu.edu.

ACADEMIC ADVISING Academic advising is suggested for all students. Some programs require that this be completed prior to admission and/or registration of classes. Please contact the department for specific guidelines in this area.

QUESTIONS ABOUT COURSE MATERIAL Students with questions about class, class schedules/syllabus, books and course material needed, and academic advising will need to contact their respective Academic Department or Academic Advisor.

WIFI

To use APU’s wireless network: Go to wireless settings for your device, search for available networks and connect to APUWIFI. Enter your APU NetID and password to connect.

ID CARD

The One Card Office issues APU student identification (ID) cards. You have two options for obtaining an APU student ID: 1) Go online to: apu.edu/ campusauxiliary/onecardoffice. In the column, click on the Graduate or Professional Student ID Cards and follow the instructions. Remember to attach your photo to your order. 2) Visit the One Card office on the West Campus during normal business hours: M-Fr 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

RESOURCES TAB SAKAI

Sakai is APU’s online learning management system (LMS). Faculty may require use of Sakai for student coursework including assignments, tests, and online forums. It is available at: sakai.apu.edu

INSTRUCTIONS

If you need assistance with using Sakai, please contact ITT at ittsupport@apu.edu or a student video tour of Sakai is also available here.

When you have a few minutes, become familiar with the Graduate and Professional Resources Tab at: home. apu.edu called Grad/Pro Resources. When you click on the tab, a directory of offices and resources are listed for your convenience and easy access within the APU website.

PARKING PERMIT

If you are parking on the APU Azusa campuses, you need a parking permit. If you only visit the Azusa campuses occasionally, you will need to obtain either a parking permit for Regional Campus students (with a $4.75 processing fee that will be charged to your student account) or a visitor’s pass on the day of your visit from the welcome booth on University Drive or in the Parking Office in Adams Hall to prevent being ticketed. Regional Campuses do not require parking permits but all students are required to register their vehicles in case of emergency at the following link: apu.thepermitstore.com. You may also use this link to request a parking permit. Once you register online, if you are an Azusa campus student or have at least one class at the Azusa campuses you must purchase a permit ($129.75 per semester), your student account will be charged and your parking permit will be mailed to you.

Student Lounge & Study Areas Please be sure to keep lounge areas clean by picking up after yourself and inform the front office staff of any supplies that need to be restocked. 27

Laptop Usage Twenty laptops are available for check-out in the office for students to use in class or student lounge and study areas. HDRC laptops cannot be taken off campus.

Copiers & Printers Copies can be made at the campus front office by logging onto one of the desktop computers in the library. It is 10 cents per side for black and white copies and 40 cents per side for colored copies. Colored copies can be printed by the front office staff.
