Urinary bladder
It is a hollow musculomembranous organ that is part of the urinary tract and receives urine from the ureters, stores it and expels it through the urethra to the outside of the body during urination.

The urine that comes from the kidney, passing through the ureter, is stored in the urinary bladder before being excreted. Its capacity is approximately 750 ml. It is a virtual space, that is, as it expands, that prevents a trauma to the pelvis from causing a rupture of the urinary bladder. At its distal end there is a sphincter which can be controlled from 18 to 24 months of life. People who cannot control the bladder sphincter have the disadvantage that when they are asleep or fainted, they can spontaneously let out urine.
